I knew Riot went insane the moment I heard that LB would have a proper waveclear now

: .....MF change.
Lane bullying? Oh that's toxic mechanics. Nevermind about {{champion:51}} {{champion:202}} {{champion:119}}. {{champion:115}} bullies you in bot lane from afar then destroys your tower? Oh that's completely healthy.
Rioter Comments
: Sorry Moobeat: Surrender at 15 testing in OCE
Remember when you removed ping view for everyone in loading screen because it promoted toxicity? Now you're making a *180 turn and making a change that will promote INCREDIBLE AMOUNTS OF TOXICITY.

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: Feb 22
I thought MF's Q's increased damage on kill actually involves skill and counterplay, why would you remove that with lethality being nerfed?

{{champion:25}} Q root is 3 seconds and everyone thinks that's okay

: at the very least just make it whichever reduces enemy armour by more rather than making LW *always* go over youmuu's

: Ward jumping should be removed
Yes, a thousand times yes, I feel like Jax can't be buffed because he can ward jump
Skorch (NA)
: Riot is getting rid of Party IP bonuses
it was unfair to lone players I guess
: @Meddler The current state of Master Yi the last 2 patches is at very bad spot
Maybe Q needs to be a skillshot and move Yi to target location and attack targets like Dota's Ember Spirit. He needs some escape pre-6.
: I see you've only played as her 1 time in the last 7 days. It even looks like you got salty and AFK'd after two deaths as her. Your team still almost won without you. She would be useless if they changed her based on your suggestion. I get it though, you are probably getting destroyed by MF lethality builds (I checked your match history, you aren't), but she isn't supposed to be an auto based champion like a Jinx or an Ashe. She's a caster marksman, much like Varus (who coincidentally also gets an attack speed steroid) and Lucian. If it wasn't for the scaling on her abilities (mainly Q and R) she would be trash. Her Q is kind of trash if you don't bounce it off another target before trying to hit your main target. Her R already has random crit chance built in, so you don't even need to build crit to crit with it. Based on your op.gg history the comment you made has no merit. I've been on the MF bandwagon ever since the Bilgewater event in Season 5. Before lethality you would build Essence Reaver into Infinity Edge and Rapid Fire Cannon then you would still get the Black Cleaver (which they are nerfing the damage on in a future patch), so not only would you get the attack damage you hate so much on her, you also get the extra crit chance and oomph to crits and you actually have better mana management with that set of items over the current lethality. MF isn't the problem. Lethality and Crit and unkillable tanks all have issues.

Even if I were to play zero games against or as MF I would still create this thread. You want to know the real reason? I actually want to play crit MF and be viable, for her lethality build not to overshadow crit build.
: The real problem with Lethality.
And? And? And buff assassins scaling of course, because those are their items.
: Less base damage? She has the 3rd lowest base AD at level 1 (46) The lowest damage per level (+1) The lowest base AD at level 18 (63)
> [{quoted}](name=Elite4Runner,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=xiEXy5iA,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2017-02-16T09:12:40.952+0000) > > Less base damage? > > She has the 3rd lowest base AD at level 1 (46) > > The lowest damage per level (+1) > > The lowest base AD at level 18 (63) I meant base damage on abilities, edited Anyway I mean that she should get enough crit scaling for compensation and stop using obnoxious lethality

: "Every marksmen auto should feel unique"
I hate last hitting with tristana when E disrupts it
Meddler (NA)
: Changes to individual masteries are fair game certainly, and not just in mid-season. First thing we're looking at (7.4) is reducing % damage increasing effects and a nerf to Fearless (it's unappreciated, but it's the strongest mastery relative to alternate options of any slot). Warlord's and Bond of Stone changes also possible, though don't want to overpromise anything there just yet.
If you nerf Fearless, won't everyone just stick to summoner spells CDR mastery all the time? I thought instead of nerfing Fearless you'd rather buff that missing hp regen mastery.
Skorch (NA)
: A (sort of) Jhin mains thoughts on Jhins balance right now.
It's funny when people complain about Jhin with his lethality, when he has clear counters like tanks and {{champion:120}} {{champion:432}}. Meanwhile Vayne is always strong, ESPECIALLY against tanks
Rixile (NA)
: Lethality needs to go.
> Full armor/health items should not allow a zed to one-shot me anyway. Wtf is Riot thinking? This has been a horrible idea. I feel like I've heard this some years ago with Arm Pen and old Last Whisper
: full lethality team beats 3 full armor tanks... why?
Because the game isn't one big stat check but actually requires skill? Why do you think that everything is determined by items? Huh?
Rioter Comments
: When a champion like Jhin is building pen instead of the intended stat of "Crit" there's a problem
And then he's gonna get nerfed for building lethality, so much, that crit build becomes too weak that he would ONLY build lethality and then lethality will be nerfed and he would be left in the gutter. Where have I heard this already? Oh wait, that's pretty common in Riot's balance decisions.
: Translation of "I died as a full 600 armor tank rammus in 2 secs to an all AD comp"
What? A thread not about "boohoohoo, tanks are weak, buff them, so I can be invulnerable" that isn't downvoted to hell by swarming skreeching bronzie tank mains? Am I dreaming?
: Revert Edge of the night Buff
I'm all for removing it completely, a total failure of an item
: Can we please make a small adjustment to the Black Cleaver build path on PBE?
what's another 100hp for darius or garen? 10 ad is better for them
: Lethality Meta.......Such Build Diversity..... Much Fun Gameplay...
Rioter Comments
: I don't think I've EVER felt like a Vayne outplayed me since stealth changes.
But before stealth changes you'd put a pink ward and scream "OH, OUTPLAY!" Double standards much? Not to defend Vayne in any way, just hate hypocrisy.
: >So Pantheon's "strength" totally lies in stupid spear throwing aka lane bullying Yes. In case you hadn't noticed, Pantheon's lane cancer playstyle means he wins more games than he loses. This has been going on for 3+ years, and I have yet to see anything actually change it. So if you really want Pantheon buffs so bad, you should probably be willing to eat a lot of nerfs to go along with it.
Who said I wanted buffs? I want full rework for him, so that people won't think of Pantheon "guy who throws spears and makes my laning a nightmare, but otherwise is useless"
Dormidon (EUW)
: Warmog's Armor?
Too bad it doesn't have mana regeneration it needs
Dormidon (EUW)
: Warmog's Armor?
it's an ARAM item
Meddler (NA)
: Some follow up marksmen thoughts
Why does Jhin deserve nerfs again? Suppose he builds crit, then he is fine, right? Then don't nerf his crit side, please?
penguin (NA)
: Yep, both of these champions are on the stronger side actually.
So Pantheon's "strength" totally lies in stupid spear throwing aka lane bullying which Darius does better than him, right? Then come 2-3 uber-telegraphed ganks with ult and your useless stunbot Pantheon is ready for midgame-lategame to deal zero damage overall or have his best hope to trade 1x1 because he has no escapes. I'm appalled that even Riot employee thinks there isn't a single problem with Pantheon in this meta. "Look! our internal data shows that he's successful early game!" Well, no shit, with this mindless Q throwing one-trick pony strategy that you allow to exist. Then he trades hell for that. http://imgur.com/a/P88Dm
: I quit playing her shortly after she was reworked because of this. ESPECIALLY because of the new q, it just doesn't feel good what so ever. I also hate her new passive and highly miss the old one and will never understand why their reasoning behind removing it was because it "rewards death" when champs like {{champion:266}} {{champion:34}} {{champion:154}} exist.
> [{quoted}](name=Kıtty Cat,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=y1xNv4AG,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2017-02-10T16:26:25.939+0000) > > I quit playing her shortly after she was reworked because of this. Now Kog'Maw is the only one left to change his death passive (Karthus' one is like his core)

: Nunu Still Doesn't Have a Keystone
I wish they'd replace Bond with SotA
: They really need to give a third free runepage now that new champion select + autofill is the norm.
: Patch Chat with the Playtest Team - 7.3, nerfing permabanned champs
Why are you nerfing {{item:3142}} when {{item:3814}} could be nerfed instead?
penguin (NA)
: Not a bad suggestion. I'll raise it the next time I hear Kindred come up.
If Kindred does become too strong, would you consider adding additional counterplay to his manual champion mark selection? Currently he just picks anyone whoever he likes without care for balance, what if Kindred fails to assassinate victims and dies instead they receive 50% of the damage Kindred would receive, that way Kindred has to pick his targets more carefully. (Just a thought to consider if Kindred becomes too strong, right now he doesn't need that, but when Kindred was strong, it was really annoying that Kindred's bad calls were literally unpunished)
penguin (NA)
: A bunch of characters mentioned in this thread are being closely monitored because they're currently too strong -- Quinn, Shaco, etc. They're likely to keep being evaluated as they're not currently considered a large issue as the playerbase hasn't really caught up yet. Ahri, for example, has been like 53+ winrate for multiple patches, but doesn't feel bad to play against. Is that a problem? Should we be balancing our characters all to get to an even 50% winrate? There are larger game-design/philosophical implications there.
Lee Sin and Reksai already counter Shaco with dmg/vision, there's no need to address someone who has this strong clear counters
