So I had to get a new computer a few weeks ago due to spilling beer on it while in bed. Yeah, I know, I won't make that mistake again. Anyway, the guy at Best Buy recommended the ASUS Q524UQ with 12GB memory and a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphic card for casual gaming at a decent price. Well I hopped on it since it also was a 2 in 1 so I can use it as a touchscreen tablet, which I really like.
Well, three weeks later and League still doesn't run good. My family got a Wi-Fi extender and it still runs laggy. Either my FPS drops or my ping does whenever I get near minions or a fight, which is costing me games.
I've messed with the settings of the graphics card (I looked up an instruction video). I've turned my settings to the lowest they can go in game, turn off shadows and V-sync, all that jazz. STILL NOTHING HELPS.
So what gives? Can anyone help or should I get another computer with a better graphics card? I don't want to spend too much more than I already have- this one was $850 on sale, then I tacked on a protection program so it was a little over 1000.
