What's the point of Corki?

So Corkis niche is beeing an adc that deals a lot of magic damage... With Kai'sa out there, why would you pick Corki over her? She does everything better especially dealing magic damage. His second strongest point probably is that he also is some kind of caster adc, but Kai'sas abilities also deal more damage than his.
