Me: Brand could you buy a sightstone please? Allied Brand: "No, I autofilled support deal with it."

We really need to eradicate this type of behavior in our community. Everyone has to autofill. There are no ifs and buts, its just the nature of the beast. The reason autofill exists is because not enough people play support. Riot has tried their best (and has done a great job) at making support a more attractive role. Riot has been actively supporting mages like {{champion:63}} {{champion:143}} {{champion:25}} {{champion:161}} to go down to bot lane and become the teams "2nd ap carry" option. Whether this has been successful or not is up to debate, but the point stands that Riot is trying to improve the support role. Autofill allows for the queues to be shorter at the expense of role selection. While many are not in support of autofill, the system is MUCH better than the old "pick order" or bust that we had before the new champ select in season 6. You had a 1/5 chance of "autofilling" in the old system for every game. I'm 100% sure that the chances of you being autofilled into a role that you don't want is significantly lower than the 1/5 chance in the previous system. Point being, autofill stinks, but that doesn't mean we get the right to troll the game. If you get autofilled in a role that you do not want to play a simple message in the pre-game chat lobby could solve almost all of your issues. People will be more inclined to trade roles if you say "Hey i got autofilled into X role and I'm not very good at this role, would somebody mind trading their role for mine?" It might not work 100% of the time, but I'm sure the team will adapt and allow you to trade roles for the sake of winning.
