I was thinking about a new game mode where users could select custom made items to bring to the in-game shop. The way it would work is that the client would come with an item editor where the user can pick from basic item components (pick axe, sword etc) to build an item tree and add additional stats, or effects from existing current items. Each component or additions done to the item automatically increases the cost appropriately up to a cap where no further modifications can be done.
The game mode would allow each player to include N custom items into the match. Anything you bring others can buy as well.
