Am I really expected to have a 75% winrate just to get into gold?

Currently on 98LP meaning I'll have to win my next match to even enter promos even though I'm so frustratingly close then win another 3 to actually advance into gold, all while already consistently versing people who aren't even in silver (Seriously, I've seen more Gold 3 players than I've seen players of my own division). This doesn't feel like a satisfying way to play ranked, it feels like I have every single card available stacked against me.
