Update: I've analyzed the results from all the games I've logged here and this is what I've found:

It's clear that as someone who plays mostly immobile mages mid and sometimes ADC... rough times make sense I suppose
Having started in season 3 in bronze then moving my way up 1 tier every year until maxing out at plat for 3 years... its finally come to this.
I can't get out of silver. 400 games of silver and I'm now demoted to silver 3.
Every single game has just unbelievable snowball that resulted in no possible counterplay.
Recounting my last 10 games:
8 out of 10 games were under 30 mins
9 out of 10 games had someone ridiculously fed
2 out of 10 games had an AFK
Loss - 25 mins - **11/3 Enemy Draven** killed everyone in 2 auto attacks (0/4 and 0/5 botlane)
Loss - 27 mins - **13/3 Enemy Jarven** 1/9 Rengar Jungle and 1/8 ADC
Loss - 22 mins [_AFK ADC_] - **20/4 Enemy Fiora **ADC goes 1-3 then AFKs.
Loss - 25 mins - **17/3 Enemy Master Yi** obliterates everyone in sight. 2/10 top and 2/10 shen support)
Loss - 28 mins - **15/1 Enemy Kayn** and 12/6 Enemy Jinx destroys all friendly life
Loss - 27 mins - **17/2 Enemy Zoe** kills everyone in one shot (our mid is bronze 1, Zoe was silver 1)
**Win** - 34 mins - Enemy botlane goes down hard 4/13 Kai'sa and 2/11 Lulu
Loss - 32 mins - **21/8 Enemy Kai'sa** leaves no survivors
**Win **- 24 mins - 1/11 Enemy LB feeds **Ally Zed to 15/6**
Loss - 27 mins [_AFK Mid_] - **13/3 Enemy Nasus Mid-lane** 1/11 Talon dies 11 times in 10 mins then goes AFK
I just don't see how it's possible to control my own rank anymore with the state of the game
Due to some recommendations in the comments about going back to using mages, I switch back to Xerath for a few games. As a background, I previously held 65%+ win rate with xerath for multiple years in gold.
Last 3 Xerath games:
3 out of 3 games top damage on team
2 out of 3 games top damage in the game (2nd place in game 3 to 18/6 MF. 28k vs 33k)
Win - 21 mins - **6/1/6** score. My botlane went **6/1 (Pyke)** and **5/0 (Jhin)**.
Loss - 34 mins - **7/3/11** score. **Enemy zed went 12/3** due to friendly Rammus going 1/11.
Loss - 30 mins [AFK Top] - **4/6/14** score. Friendly morgana got mad early in the game and told me "You know what? I'm mid now. You go support" then proceeded to come mid lane and attempt to steal as much cs as possible. Friendly illaoi AFKs shortly after without an explanation (all this around 10 mins). **Enemy MF snowballed to 18/6** from the 2v1 botlane as morgana abandoned lane.
Here are some updates on recent games:
Loss - **16 mins** - Although going even with Karthus who played safe under turret and roaming bot for our first kill (finished 1-0 in lane phase) Enemy team racks up **20 kills in under 15 minutes**. Bot and top beg for early surrender. **Enemy Nasus is 6/0 by 10 mins**. Enemy botlane goes 5/0 & 3/2 vs our 0/5 & 2/5.
Loss - 31 mins - Although going 1/1/4 in lane phase against Yasuo, we soon find out that **12/10 friendly WW top and 1/8 friendly vayne** can't match up against **12/5/12 Enemy Vi and 9/4/19 Enemy Jhin**
Win - 31 mins - Played **11/6/16 Mid Vel'koz** where **3/14/5 Enemy Mid Nautilus** fed me 6 kills in 15 mins.
Loss - 38 mins _[Promo Game] _- **15/2 vayne proves impossible to stop**, although doing the most damage in the game as 6/6/10 Xerath, it's a slow and painful loss.
Loss - 25 mins _[Promo Game]_ - **12/3 Enemy Irelia and 14/5 Enemy Kayn** massacre everyone. Although at 15 mins I am 0/1/2 (Yasuo) against my 1/3/0 lane opponent (Xerath), the game immediately turns as 4/1/1 Enemy Irelia and 5/1/3 Enemy Kayn decide to group mid and end the game, at which in this point of the game we have 1/6/0 Friendly Tryndamere continues to try and splitpush leaving us 4v5 and 0/3/0 Friendly Jhin tries to help but does no damage against these monsters.
