I have until last night, never heard of, or saw pictures, of China's so called "Ghost Towns"
First of all, I had some questions, like "Is there enough infrastructure / plumbing for all that?"
"IF the place was full of residents, what would the place look like on a workday, early in the morning? Could everyone fit out the doors? The streets? And again, infrastructure? (showers/toilet flushes)"
I'm used to construction (human progress?) being BIG and BOLD, but the sheer MASS of these projects still kinda staggered my brain.
I hear stories, and see pictures, showing these places are LITERALLY NOT EVEN MEANT TO BE LIVED IN!
Supposedly, they are built SO CHEAPLY, they fall apart in 3 years. Probably fall too the ground in 10.
No real foundations, and the basic structures fail.
Let alone the "accents" that are wire frame covered with cardboard, and stucco.
Like legit, if someone offered you a luxury condo for free, you would laugh, and be like.. "ohohoNO, I ain't stepping foot in that fuckin deathtrap!"
Please tell me this is not true.
Tell me the buildings shown in that video, where one extreme example of a scam, and the other 99% are REAL buildings.
If they are really propped up crap, simply made for a economic bubble, never meant to last more than 1 year.... that is one of the more wasteful things I have seen mankind do... and that says a LOT.
