General Questions

Hello, My name is Eric Lau, I am a 17 year old High school senior at the moment. For my final semester right now I am taking part in a COOP at a small game development company named iDream Interactive. I'd love to ask you some questions about your company and the game League of Legends. Before I start, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read this email. Thank you. Some general information about me before I start asking questions: I have played League of Legends since season 1 (Summoner name: Killerofallgods) Lost my first account I ever made due to inactivity during season 1. I dont remember the username and unfortunately didn't link my email at that point. I am an avid computer software engineer and game developer. I am currently working on my second game to be put out on IOS and Android. My first had around a few thousand downloads, even though it was only on IOS (Hyper Tap). League of Legends has been my primary and only game I've played for 3 seasons now. I love the competitive nature of it. I live in Ontario, Canada but am interested in moving to the states to broaden my opportunities. Now that you know some things about me here are my questions: I was wondering what it took to either get an internship or job for Riot, I have read all your pages and FAQ on your website but read nothing about someone my age. Though I may still be young I have a lot of experience over a lot of people older than me. I know many different languages of coding (C#, Unity, ActionScript, JavaScript, C++. C-C##, HTML, ect) Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting an internship or job with Riot? It is literally my dream job to work for your company. And even though I am this young, I have several very good references I can provide if interested. What is League of Legends primarily coded in? I have always been curious to find out about this. Even if working for you guys doesn't mean I will be working on League of Legends, I would still really love to be apart of the company and work on a future product. Though I make games for mobile devices, I also have experience in making games for computer. Thats where I learned Unity. Once again thanks for taking the time to read my email, and please get back to me as soon as possible! I look forward to your reply! - Eric Lau AKA Killerofallgods (Keep doing amazing things on and around the Rift!)
