I thought of an idea for a new item for League of Legends. Riot, pay attention cause this is the future right here. Anyways, the item would be called Electric Arc. Here are the items attributes:
- +50 Ability power
- Active: Spawns a magically charged electrical wall in the shape of an arc (hence the name) for 10 seconds. During this time, the wall becomes more unstable, sending out electrical surges in a radius around itself every second, increasing in frequency until the wall ends. Each surge deals 50 magic damage (plus 10× your champion lvl). Enemies can still pass through the wall, but are slowed by 50% for 1 second, all the while taking damage from the surges. Additionally, ally champions abilities can safely pass through wall, but enemy abilities instead ricochet off the arc, bouncing back and damaging them if it hits. Excludes basic attacks. At the end if the 10 seconds, the unstable wall explodes, dealing 100 magical damage (plus 10× champion level.)
- 120 second cooldown
Obviously the real item wouldnt have such a long Active description, but I wrote this to explain the effects in details. The electric wall would be about 700 units in arc length, and the electric surges would shoot out to 400 units. The surges would prioritize enemy champions, and then minions. Minions killed would give you gold.
You could use the item if you are being chased by multiple enemies, forcing them to go around it. Offensively, it can be placed when taking down a turret, forcing enemies into a bad position. It can also be used, for example, if your inhibitor is down and the seige minions are coming, you can place it down while it takes out the minions, and your team can contest the baron if the enemy wants it, so you dont have to have 1 ally dealing with the minions.
The item would only have 50 Ap because its active is so powerful.
So this is my idea for a new item. I hope a Riot developer can see this and let me know his thoughts on it and if he likes it. Also, readers let me know if you like this item. Vote 1 for yes, 2 for no.
Thanks for reading, have a nice day.
