Umbra & Oskom (New Mechanic 2-in-1 or 2 seperate champions. Chosen in Champion Selection)

Got the idea after looking at a champion concept. You can swap between the two while selected, and may decide which you would like to play as and control. Another player can decide to ALSO pick Umbra & Oskom, and then has to play the one that you have not selected, being able to swap between each other like you can with normal champion selections. While playing together your champions function slightly differently, gaining new abilities and losing abilities that were used by the other when paired up, being more of a "solo" champion. While playing alone you control BOTH champions, and one character is made untargetable. So if you play as Oskom and nobody picks Umbra, then Umbra follows you around but is untargetable. In champion selection the other team just sees you picking Umbra & Oskom, they cannot see which one you are actually playing as. Probably will have the option to also play as the "solo" mode of each champion, since options are always good. Umbra can be moved by Alt-clicking or pressing R, she moves at a speed of 400+(100% movement speed bonus), can move through units but paths around champions, and has a maximum distance from Oskom of 375(+10 per level. 545 at 18). Umbra either stays in the same relative position to Oskom until given an order, or stays in the exact same map location until ordered(toggled on/off with a chain icon in the same area as champion icons for Kindred passive). Active: Last Strand Holding for 0.5 seconds makes Umbra begin tightening the strings, holding for an additional 0.5 seconds makes her pull Oskom back to her location. Umbra cannot basic attack but instead uses Oskom to attack for her. Oskom can be moved by Alt-clicking pressing R or giving an attack order, he moves at a speed of 425+(100% movement speed bonus), can move through units but paths around champions, has an attack range of 150, and a maximum distance from umbra of 375(+10 per level. 545 at 18). Passing the strings between Umbra and Oskom over a champion marks them for 1.5 seconds(10-5sec cooldown per champion). Abilities on marked targets deal 10% additional damage as true damage and stun for the remaining duration. Oskom will appear invisible to all champions outside of the darkness. While inside the darkness Oskom gains 20% increased Attack Damage. Leaving darkness causes enemies to take 100/150/200+(20/30/40% Ability Power) magic damage and be slowed by 40% for 2 seconds. Darkness lasts 6 seconds, and takes 1 second out of that time to spread out fully. >**Passive: Jump Scare** Oskom fears enemies for 0.5/0.75/1 second if they gain vision of him while he is within 350 units but has been out of vision for 2 seconds. 5 second CD per champion. *** >**Umbra** >*** >**Passive: First String** Umbra attacks with a whip made of her string, the whip deals 5-30+(10% Ability Power) bonus on-hit magic damage to her target and all enemies in a line toward her target. Umbra's attack is not counted as a projectile or ranged attack. >**Passive: Pulling Strings** Passing the strings between Umbra and Oskom over a champion marks them for 1.5 seconds(10-5sec cooldown per champion). Abilities on marked targets deal 10% additional damage as true damage and stun for the remaining duration. Marked enemies are revealed(like Oracle Lens). >*** >**Q: Deadly Cords | CD 11/10.5/10/9.5/9 | Cost 50/55/60/65/70/75 | Radius 450** Umbra slams her whip down and pulls it back dragging all enemies hit back 150 units. Deals 30/60/90/120/150+(50% Ability Power) magic damage to all units hit. >*** >**W: Tangled Threads | CD 13/12/11/10/9 | Cost 70/80/90/100/110 | Range 700** After 0.3 seconds Umbra shoots out strings that pass through units and disarm(blind) enemies for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds and deal 70/100/130/160/190+(130% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to enemies hit. >*** >**E: Fibers of Life | CD 18/17/16/15/14 | Cost 80/85/90/95/100 | Radius 250** Umbra and nearby allies gain a shield equal to 50/60/70/80/90/100+(30% AP + 40% Bonus AD) that grants 30/35/40/45/50% bonus attack speed and lasts 4 seconds. >*** >**R:String Theory | CD 160/140/120 | Cost 150 | Range 1,500** Activated for 10 seconds. Every 1 second Umbra may recast to make a string between walls within 1,500 units, with a max length of 1,000 units. Strings last 6/8/10 seconds and have a 0.3 second delay before activating. Once 5 strings have been made String Theory instantly ends. Enemies who pass through a string break it and receive 20/35/50+(10% Ability Power) magic damage as well as all current on-hit damage, and become slowed by 25% for 1/1.25/1.5 seconds. >**Passive: Second String** Fibers of Life grants Umbra's whip 10/20/30+(5/7.5/10% Ability Power) bonus on-hit magic damage to her target and all enemies in a line toward her target, and grants allies 10/15/20+(2.5/5/7.5% Ability Power) bonus on-hit magic damage. >**CHANGED STATS** AD|55+3 AS|.635+3 MS|330 RG|500 *** **Alternatively** it might be better to have them swap between each other when playing by yourself? Like using R swaps which one is following and which is being controlled. This would give them their "solo" abilities but not their "solo" R, using R to pull the strings would swap your champion. Playing with a friend would give you both the special R abilities. Just a thought. Not sure which is better, since thematically it wouldn't make sense for Umbra to not attack with her puppet if he is not controlled by another player, so she kind of needs to cast abilities and attack with Oskom while playing by yourself. Still think it'd be a really cool idea either way.
