While the Freljord troll is, surprisingly, smarter than the average Ixtal Troll, the Ixtal Troll makes up for such in strength, size, and stamina. Due to their mutualistic relationship with the jungle's fungi, these trolls are protected by the hardened mycelium shell. In turn, the fungus obtains part of the nutrients eaten by the troll. General seen as a nuisance, these trolls are generally left alone due to their extremely dangerous nature and small potential reward for disturbing and killing them. The mightiest member of this species is Grolvic, the largest Ixtal troll that is feared even by his own species due to his aggressive and cannibalistic nature. Piltover issued its explorers a "Run On Sight" command if one should come across Grolvic, as none who have challenged the troll have lived to tell the tale. However, the recent ambition of Qiyana and Piltover have caused the jungles of Ixtal to grow more and more populated by visitors, and more and more are ignoring the warnings of those who have glimpsed the brutality of Grolvic and his kind. With all the new annoying noise echoing through the jungle, Grolvic has become even more furious with those it comes across. The territory around his den, due to his increasing ferocity, as been labeled on maps with a name: The Corpse Den. The name was earned by Grolvic often killing off so many newcomers in recent days that it cannot eat all the meat it kills, causing rotting corpses to be found all around its den. Foolishly, hunters who have heard of Grolvic have taken this as a challenge. Who will be the first to slay this legendary troll? The first notable hunter to visit Grolvic brought with him a magical cannon, illegally created in the depths of Zaun. He found the beast, took aim, and fired at the beast's back. The hunter's corpse was found days later twenty feet above in a tree. The second notable hunter believed poison was the best route, and used chemical bombs to ambush Grolvic. They were found floating down the Serpentine River by traders. The third notable hunter thought herself clever, and decided they would pelt Grolvic from above in aircraft. An explosion could be heard from miles away after their aircraft had been knocked out of the sky after Grolvic threw a basilisk through its hull. Grolvic has earned his peace for now. However, as more and more nations wish to harvest the resources and artifacts within the Ixtal jungle, who knows when Grolvic will fall. Or will he ever? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > **KIT** > **Base Stats** Main Role: Warden Secondary Role: Juggernaut Health- 635 (+115 per level) Health Regen. per 5- 10 (+1 per level) Mana- 300 (+30 per level) Mana Regen. per 5- 7 (+0.7 per level) Armor- 42 (+3 per level) Magic Resist- 32 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 72 (+3 per level) Attack Speed- 0.655 (+2.25% per level) Attack Range- 125 (Melee) > **Passive- Mycelium Shell** **Innate:** Grolvic takes (30% Base Health Regen. per 5) reduced damage from all sources, calculated after reductions. While his damage won't cause anyone to jump out of their skin, his ability to win the war of attrition will certainly cause most enemies to think twice before assaulting him. His most notable defensive tool is his Mycelium Roots, causing his attackers to eventually be rooted if they basic attack him enough. This allows Grolvic and his allies to take advantage of enemies who focus on attacking Grolvic. If they don't focus on Grolvic, however, they will be slowed by the existence of Grolvic's shield and stunned by Earthquake, which provides fairly notable disruption over the course of a fight with its lower cool down albeit questionable range. To put the cherry on top of it all, Grolvic's Corpse Feed and Rabid Consumption will make sure his enemies have a hard time taking him down if gets within melee range. However, that is where things begin to get complicated for Grolvic. While he has an amazing kit once he gets within close range combat, he has no innate tools to get him to his opponent if they simply walk away from him. Combine this with his very slow base movement speed, and Grolvic will likely be forced to only take fights that his enemies start due to Mycelium Roots. This forces Grolvic into a more defensive role, protecting his allies and defending his territory. Plus, with the help of allies, Grolvic might be able to make his way towards his enemies without relying on them attacking him. -------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for reading and any constructive feedback you have is greatly appreciated! The goal here was to create a very durable bruiser that focuses on defending their allies rather than hunting down enemies.
