Where is the Single player and multiplayer Campaign mode?

I noticed there is PVP online, and bots online. What if I want to play alone or with a friend to learn the mechanics of champs? Why haven't they introduced a story mode, they do have lore, so why not? Can we have a Warcraft 3 mode or something so people who don't want to play in the arena can have fun with friends and learn the game that way?
