Cost efficiency is not a good measure to compare between AP & AD items and champs. AP item cost efficiency is messed up (misleadingly high) because amplifying tome is way overpriced compared to long sword (AD champs have 100% AD scaling autoes the devs didn’t consider when pricing long sword and BF). This is the power of 100% scaling autoes that has fast animations and not as clunky as {{champion:30}} and most mages autoes. He was just dashing to him and right clicking him to death... And when an AD champ gets a lead he is 10x stronger than any Mage with the same lead simply because Mages HAVE to wait for their full rotations CDs (mainly their Ults) while AD champs don't have to... AD need just to wait for 1 or 2 spells and use their autoes.

Imho, a big part of toxicity stem from the ability to see other players' rank, level and match history. for example; a couple of edge lords on your team scaned ur account before game start and see a bad game in the past and decided that u are bad before game start while others from enemy team did the same and saw ur rank and level and a good game then decided to tunnel vision u even tho u picked a low damage super tank champ cuz u want to relax this game. game starts: u die once to an early 3 man gank and get hard focused and chain cced always in team fights and ur hyper carry always gets a penta or so due to the enemy tunnel visioning u. result: Edglords : noob tank player die to 3 man roam boosted ape feeded in past games we will lose later because of him useless r%%%%%. Enemy team who tunnel visioned u: who boosted you ape to this level and rank u suck r%%%%% Me: why the fuk u always focus me on a super tank that cant carry and why waste all ur cc and key team fight spells and leave my carry get an ez penta on ur asses r%%%%%s give a reasons for this pointless hard focus ? No... They can be annoying early, true but they will go oom quickly if they kept harassing you with spells early before getting last chapter item. 1 kill gank early is enough to put most mages down, and they will not be able to keep up with bruisers after they get just 1 Mr item... Most mages cc durations are reduced by half with just boots + rune... Mages have 0 chance against bruisers with dashes and stuns like renekton. Vayne, Quinn, Graves, Lucian and, against immobile bruiser, Ashe & Jhin are much more toxic and opressive than any mage and have none of thier weaknesses.

Full ap comps are a guaranteed loss while full ad comps are not (well known and tested fact, unless the enemy team is just that bad)... Please stop cluelessly parroting Hashinshin. Mages sorc boots + orb rush can be completely countered by rushing just 1 MR component + MR flex runes & nullifying orb rune. Mages CC can be rendered almost useless by how easily can tenacity be stacked. (%51 tenacity from just boots + tenacity rune). Good luck trying to land W on stunned targets with early %51 tenacity as Veigar (same goes for all Mages who depend on landing thier CC to use thier combos)...

They have no early damage, handicapped by mana & cdr, useless while thier spells are on cd, unreliable damage & cc, thier cc is easily countered by %51 tenacity from just boots + rune. Have u seen Fanatic morg+blitz bot recently? It was aweful and pretty much highlited why mages suck compared to ad champs in any lane. Game Casters took note of that too. Both morg and blitz held on thier Qs too long because they knew they will be useless if they missed thier skillshots. Often resulting in taking too much free damage from autoes and even dying many times due to it without even having the chance to use thier Qs meaningfully... Just go play tristana, vayne, Lucian, jayce, ez, xayah or quinn mid and take a free dump on any melee or mage mid including garden, irelia and renekton. The only thing some mages got going for them against noobs is the sorc+oblivion rush which is easily countered by just merc boot rush + Mr flex rune + nullifying orb rune.

Her passive + Q + E each did either more or same damage as her Ult despite her Ult having the highest base damage + 100% ratio !!! What does that mean ? It means u ate at least 2 Qs + 2 Es + multiple passive procs and lots of autoes !!! Did u afk or got dc in front of her ??? Or did she chase u for long and u are 0 at dodging ??? Magic resist + tenacity stacking are busted against Mages. They render thier damage and cc useless.

Exactly, most spells have this issue u described. Trying to use my 625 range {{champion:1}} Q on {{champion:22}} whose auto range is 600 only to get kited by her with autoes and never be in range to Q her. I think Riot did fiddle with champs models hitboxes earlier this year but cant remember which patch exactly. the info stuck in my mind because I remember they mentioned making ADCs models hitboxes smaller and gave many ADCs spells boarder to boarder hitbox like their autoes and this triggered me back then.

Imo, Rabadon is good only when u have 3 high ap items + 3 skills with high ap scalings. Kayle + ur build doesn't qualify for Rabadon. Infinity Edge scaling is way better than Rabadon because autoes scale with %100 ad + don't have cd + can't miss. Kayle is an auto attacker styled champ + her spells scale with ad + her waves crit so it's better to scrap that Rabadon for gunblade which gives u good mixed stats + sustain + reliable cc with good damage. Tenacity From mercy is a must. U can take the attack speed or life steal rune if the enemy comp is not cc heavy but merc is a must. Runnan might be good since Riot has increased her range with the recent nerf but my point is that she is now worthless and heavily gutted but if I am going to play her I will get reaver instead of runnan for more crit damage + mana + max cdr. All of the above are just my opinions. I might be wrong but I feel that was the best build on her. R.I.P Kayle...

I feel like her waves should have started at level 1, then ranged form at 6, then extra range on AA at 11, then true damage/exalted at 16. : Early win, and lane phase, and if combined with an ADC that has good self protection, then it works good. Many people especially on lowelo forgets, that the game is more, than just lane phase. They think, that win the lane equals winning the game, and if this fails, then it's 100% teammates fault. I played with such support. I won't reveal the strongest, because that's a pure cancer to play against, but even with 20% accuracy i won botlane. On my very first game i had S rank with that. But it's a trap. Win lane phase, and unless you are fed as hell, then lose midgame. If enemy got one or two skilled assassin then lose the whole game. As for the fun part. Some people love being the guy who kills the enemy, and deals tons of damage. Who doesn't like to see as they DELETE an enemy with Lux.

Want to tilt him ? play ranged AD champ mid like {{champion:133}}. he will cry. Oh and don't listen to those telling you full AD comps are countered by armor. cuz they aren't.

Then they gave a sizable buff to her Q base + ratio scaling from passive (the spell with the least downtime on her kit). You are wrong... If we are talking components: {{item:3076}} is 70% gold efficient without passive. {{item:3211}} is 93% gold efficient without passive (130.5% with passive). Also, gold efficiency cant account for the fact that all AD champs can keep hitting you with unavoidable 100% bAD scaling autoes after using their spells while most AP champs cannot. It also cannot account for the fact that most magic damage is tied to skillshots, which can miss and thus do 0 magic damage unlike autoes. _**Those 2 facts alone make MR vastly superior then Armor as a stat.**_ Accordingly, they are also the reason why magic damage is in a bad shape now, considering Mages as its most common source (Not counting {{champion:42}}). Have you ever tried to burst or CC a {{champion:238}} with {{item:3071}} {{item:3814}} {{item:3111}} (very affordable mid game and very common strat right now) + mr\hp flex runes + nullifying orb rune + legend: tenacity rune setup as a Mage ? You cannot, with stacked tenacity (51% cc reduction) your cc effect spell (if landed) will not even last long enough for your other spells to finish their cast animations. and his shields + HP will easily soak up what few reliable spells you have left to cast on him. And he will still be able to easily burst you down, or wait for your {{item:3157}} and finish you off with autoes.

ADCs already do assassin level damage from range and many of them have better innate utility than assassins like Ashe jinx cait sivir Varus kalista Thier "exclusive" items also have utility. Reaver gives cdr + mana Zeal line gives aoe + movespeed + shields GA gives second life Ruined king gives lifesteal + speed + slow + hp shred Bloodthirster and death dance are just stupidly op broken items. Mortal gives grevious wounds U can also build all the assassins and fighters items u wish without real sacrifice as u only need 50% crit chance. Just tell me what the point of ur post ffs. ADCs get shit because right clicking is so hard and skillful and people don't like being outplayed by skillful right clicking or being peeled by vayne or trist hard to land self peel or having ADCs dodge their brain dead easy to land skill shots with thier delayed dashes and mobility. Just play ad mids and plow her good. Camille is a hard counter to her safety her ult + she got passive shield + a massive dash that does damage, gives atk speed and stuns. Kled, Irelia, Riven multiple instant dashes, CC and sustain. Zed is Zed. Avoid her charm with Lucian\Corki\Vayne\Kindred instant dashes and proceed to make minced meat out of her. Good ap mids against her: Fizz, Leblanc, vlad (she cannot prevent u from outscaling her), ekko (a bit of skill needed tho), azir (lot of skill needed, u can avoid here stuff but she can avoid ur's easily too)

: I think its more of an issue with how strong magic pen items are and how hard it is for squishies to get MR. {{item:3020}} for example gives 18 magic pen Ya you can counter it with {{item:3111}} but now you just used your boot slot to get an item that will only help you against cc and magic damage, every champion has the ability to do physical damage, everything in this game except for obelisk can deal physical damage. Meanwhile {{item:3020}} will help malphite kill everyone. Also, reason why I put more blame on magic pen rather than AP is because {{champion:54}} has pretty decent base damage on his combo, same with {{champion:32}} And penetration in general..... Right now, you have to go out of your way to get defensive stats meanwhile % and flat penetration isn't even taking a detour, usually it fits naturally into your build and helps you against everyone regardless of who they are, what type of damage they deal, and if they are building resistance or not.
A null magic mantle + Mr runes (25+8+8) are more than enough a counter for sorc shoes early if magic damage is really a problem (it isn't). You absolutely don't need to finish mantle into a merc shoes. It is pointless to get merc shoes over ninja tabi when u can get the same tenacity from runes (the only exception is when against full ap comps which is an auto loss for them anyway) Get mantle and sit on it, your natural health gain + scaling Mr will complement it until you figure into what you want to finish it. Magic pen needs to be strong because magic damage is mostly restricted by CDs and resources and it is not as reliable as physical damage (skill shots). I don't know how this "magic pen is op" nonsense complains have started. Dodging 1 skill shot and having 1 Mr item will make any ap champ unable to kill u while u auto him to death as he waits for his cds, getting lost health back in the process thanks to lifesteal. Malph full rotation will not kill you if u had 1 Mr item. And he will not have enough mana to full combo u if he kept spamming Q to get u low enough for a combo kill. I spammed lot of support malph recently with mama rune and spellthief so I know his mana spam issues even with said setup. It will be harder for him to spam in solo lane for sure.
