: "Last-hit assistance" is something Riot usually does when they adjust a champion's auto attack damage that gives you a tiny threshold where if you bring a minion down to that threshold or lower without killing it, it gives you the kill. For example, Akali had a last-hit assistance of 4. This means if she auto'd a minion and brought it down to 4 HP or less, the minion would die anyway. They do this as a sort of training wheels for when they make big changes, and they slowly dial the threshold back as people get accustomed to the new damage value. Changing this shouldn't have had any effect on Akali's passive proc or attacking champions at all, so if it is a bug, it's likely unrelated to the last-hit assistance.

10 bans, show all bans during ban phase so that 10 champs are actually banned rather than say 5 due to mirror bans most of the outliers are now gone and the game mode should hopefully be enjoyable I would still like to see both ARURF and URF running side by side at the same time, just so we can get an idea of which of the two is actually the most popular.

: I agree with what @meriipu has said, that once you get a specific amount of mastery points on that champion you would get a skin but based on the amount of points that you have. So you would get a skin for them, but just not 1m though imo. Maybe you get a 975rp skin for that champ once you hit 250k points, 1350rp skin when you hit 500k points, and 1820rp when you hit 1m.

That still means riot (even if it is indirectly, and they are unwilling to admit it) promotes selfish play in normal games. Even if you are in a premade, as long as it is not a 5-person premade, some player not in your premade will be victim of a player in your premade taking ward kills etc to boost their score. S- and higher as a rating for chests is simply too restrictive for solo players, and even if you played really well and had a huge impact on your victory, some player on your team might simply have gotten most of the kills, wards, and farm, or you died to save them in a teamfight. That kind of stuff. Changing to requirement to: * any player (premade or not) on your team getting an S * and your score was A or higher would in my experience take care of a lot of the need to greedily fight for e.g ward last hits.

Yeah I should probably have specified that the "downvote me all you wish" was not necessarily at you, but some people certainly are. I do not see what more evidence is needed than the stuff riot already provided as a basis for hextech ratings: * ward score * creep score * kills * few deaths * assists * objective damage If your intention is to maximize these then the only two that benefit less from greedy play is objective damage and assists. And also unless you are a support it is likely that kills completely outweigh assists It is possible to get decent scores in all of these by playing as a team, but if you wish to be sure, you should try your very best to last hit every ward, and every kill, and play more safely than what is good for your teams victory. Other than that, if you wish to maximize them, play greedily. That way you maximize your chances of an S rating.

You have to personally get it if you are not in a premade. And in a premade, the player that is "designated" to get the S if they during the game turn out to have the best chance (out of all the players on the team), maximizes their chances of getting the S by playing greedily.

And your premade maximizes their chances of getting that S for you two by playing selfishly. It changes nothing except you can defend them while they AFK farm to pad their score or whatever. I feel like people think I am saying you have to play greedily, I never said that. What I am saying is, playing greedily is rewarded more than playing as a team.

: I’d love to see your statistics or proof backing up those points you make, because I’m pretty sure all but the last one are absolute crap, and hell even that one may be too. I have literally gotten an S on Illaoi before with a score of 2/10, maybe 200 farm or so (not amazing by any means), did not steal kills at all, got 0 buffs that game, and didn’t clear any wards. The S is based on your play of the champion in relation to others playing the same champion. I feel like it’s more based on your accuracy and combos, not based on the statistics you say. If you’re doing amazing to help the team even with a crap score, you can still get an S if your play is good.

I feel like it’s more based on your accuracy and combos, not based on the statistics you say. If you’re doing amazing to help the team even with a crap score, you can still get an S if your play is good. That just means the bar for getting an S on illaoi is really low. By stealing last hits and not playing risky, you maximize your probability of getting any S rating, even if it is not strictly necessary. If you want to maximize your chances of getting an S, they way the system is designed now, you play greedily and selfishly with no regard to anyone on your team. It is that simple, and until riot changes the system, that is what they are (indirectly) promoting. Downvote me all you want, I am not wrong here.

To some degree. Champions with a mana item (morrelos, or whatever) are less affected, but if you use spells a lot then yes.

Feed your ass off while someone in your premade gets an S so you get a chest. > > TEAMWORK! Not feeding is not enough to get an S. * If you really want the S you have to steal every ward last hit even if another player on your team found it and made the first 2-3 hits on it * Take all the farm in whatever lane you are in even if it is not your lane * Take buffs from jungler * Do everything you can to get the kill even if another player on your team is about to get the kill. * Can you push to win, but there is a lane with a ton of farm? Go get the farm to pad your creep score. * Is a risky teamfight about to happen that could end the game, and your score is currently good enough to get an S? Better sit it out and let your team lose it; you might lose the game but you are more likely to get an S. This is not always strictly necessary, but it is the best way of ensuring you get an S Is this teamwork? Hardly, but it is the behaviour riot encourages by giving S ratings based on individual ingame numbers/scores, and trying to deny it by saying it is possible without doing the above is foolish, because doing the above maximizes your probability of getting an S rating, regardless of how selfish it is.

: Quinn isn't too bad of a pick according to statistics, but I don't know the matchup well enough to offer specific advice. Lulu top is kinda iffy in general. General advice: if your going to fight, try to do so on a cannon wave, preferably after killing the enemy cannon. Panths passive block can be broken by the cannon minion, but not by regular minions. You can prevent Panths stun if you hit him with a displacement during the travel. Quinn's vault or a well-timed Lulu ult can do this. His E is also stopped by hard CC. Past that, its just do whatever it takes to survive the early-game and rech lvl 6. (I used to go so far as having a HP regen page just to survive) Panth's ult isn't exactly great in a 1V1, so having that advantage can tip the scales in your favor. (Not so much for quinn obviously)
I have noticed the cannon thing that some pantheons mess up on though before that happens they usually chunk down all my hp with spears and if I try to poke back he jumps in and before I know the spear is back up again and I cry
