: It's irritating, certainly. The thing is that, when we disabled voting in the past, we discovered the community *really* likes voting, and valued the features that require voting to work, such as the **Boards Home Page**, the **Hot** post sorting option, **Discussion View**, etc. The community has also seemed pretty good at looking for vote-manipulated threads, self-identifying them, and keeping good threads in **Recent** by posting on them and engaging in discussion. As a result, I'm not sure we're at the point where the nuclear option is necessary, given how much it frustrated people last time.

Personally, I don't like a voting system as it sometimes make people make threads that share the same views as the general public only to get some sort of social approval. Also, there is a reason why "like"-bots even is a thing. Would be interesting to see downvoting removed.

: Guys there's a specific clash board
>Bar on the left >Recruitment > Click on Clash Lucky you. We don't have that on EUNE. :/
: Did support tickets not exist back then? Players know the bots exist, so here's really nothing to raise awareness about. The devs also know bots exist. They *have* known they exist. It's also a largely unfixable problem. Toxic people reform or move on. Trolls eventually get bored. Botters are in it for money, and they can run 40 matches at once on a computer then go watch TV or something. There's nothing to actually drive botters away for good (nothing *legal* at least), so there's not really any way to permanently stop them.

As much as they've ever done - they existed, but mostly no help at all to find there. Back then, _I_ didn't know botting was such a far-reaching problem. I've learned it since, yes, but those years ago I only wanted to help. I should have known it wasn't appreciated, and I was sad to learn later on no one cared. But it's okay, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, right.

: And what is putting it on the boards going to do? There are exactly two outcomes from you putting their name on the boards: 1. You're wrong or *lying*, and the player isn't a bot at all. Nothing happens to their account, but you're a colossal asshole and *hopefully* would be banned if it was lying and not just being wrong, and the player ends up harassed for your mistake/lie. 2. The player *is* a bot, and it does absolutely nothing since the report is already sent. There **is no upside** to you putting the name here, while there's a fairly significant downside.

Should say something about how long ago this was. The intention was to increase the public awareness of the bots presence. I guess I should say this was back when the game developers responded to anything, and as such the forums would be the place to post about it. You remember the difference 7 years ago?

Made it much easier to predict when I would reach the next checkpoint. I have tried posting those numbers 4 times in various threads about honour progression, but got massively downvoted every single time. But if you're curious, it takes about 3 weeks between checkpoints if you play every day. The number of games is also a factor.

: >I thought they made the new client, coding it "from the ground-up!" (their words), to avoid these things... It's irrelevant if the client is old or new, both had bugs. A bug is not something a developer plans for, they happen for variety of reasons (and sometimes, mismatch of values, missing/different variables or even wrongly referenced ones). And they made a new client to make the implementation of future features easier on the new tech (compared to old and almost deprecated Adobe Air), which would allow developers to literally not break their back implementing a feature that's easy to do but hard to fit in the sea of spaghetti code and hoping that the dam doesn't break with a band aid put on its crack, that's right below the functionality they're trying to add. Adobe Air was also a major resource hog. It could've literally compared to what Chrome does to this day.

Which is ironic, as the new client is built on a version of Chromium... Yes, they said they can apply patches and content updates without the need to restart the client...but we still often need to restart the client to "refresh" the content, like unlocked hextech loot (emotes in particular for some reason). I'll say this though. The old client was heavy on the RAM in comparison, whereas the new is heavy on the CPU. I don't know which is better, personally, as I have plenty of RAM (32 GB). The CPU, however, albeit overcloked...not so much (3770K).

Yeah, they stopped posting those long ago. Apparently "took too much time". Same thing they said when they stopped writing a short story or text next to each champion and skin sale. It's funny...I thought when a company grew larger, they would have MORE people to do the little things - not the other way around. Oh well, I guess that's a small indie company for you. Nomsumer (NA)
: The reward is getting to look like a loser. It's just an odd reward choice for it in my eyes from more than one angle. The system is how they try and leverage good community health and by extension franchise longevity and they re-use a pre-existing image file and call it an emote which simultaneously makes people who use it make the system itself look like something pursued by pricks and suckups. Which in turn undermines the concept and associations people have with bothering to try and improve their conduct in-game with other players. It's literally a double negative result against the system that it is meant to hype up, with the benefit of having taken about ten minutes to code since the assets already existed. The money saved in wages and development are potentially far exceeded by the net effects of paying little respect to outcome. People get a lot more satisfaction out of telling people off and or behaving negatively than they are rewarded for putting up with the community and being more tolerant and or forgiving of the common community idiot. A system is only as effective as the extent to which it engages the comprising elements. They can get a lot out of what they have already built and invested in with the Honor system, but they can equally undermine that same investment and or impede their own returns. I know it's not a critical problem, but it seems a choice that could have been outperformed by many others possible.

I wouldn't know anything about AMD these days, because I haven't had an AMD CPU since my Athlon 64 X2 6000+.
: Can you post the other hardware you are running? Is this mostly an NVIDIA problem?

Is this mostly an NVIDIA problem? It seems to mostly be an Intel CPU issue (regardless of version and generation). AMD CPU users doesn't seem to be as affected.
: FPS Drops in game?
No fixes. Lots of people with the same issue though. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/km67EyZE-huge-fps-drops-in-game-in-both-sr-and-tft-since-patch-922-came-out https://boards.eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support-en/vEL1klUU-for-people-having-trouble-with-sudden-fps-dropsfreezes https://boards.eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-en/WAAutaVZ-can-you-guys-please-stop-this-fps-drops
: I've been getting this on and off for the last 5 patches. Maybe since more than 3 people are complaining about it now, Riot might actually do something.

Maybe since more than 3 people are complaining about it now, Riot might actually do something. Doubt it. Their Chinese overlords have put them on some new games now. So why waste time and effort on the old stuff like League. Franly, I'd settle for a fix on the CPU usage issues. If half the playerbase across all regions (they're not ALL running dual-cores, right...) suddenly suffers from increased system requirements or however they want to spin it, it's not a client-side issue.
: Does anyone else get a Reconnect loops since after update?
Mate, that's been happening randomly pre-patch 9.19!
: Both icons are just revamps/reuses of old icons. The tree is of 2012's Harrowing for spending 5k RP, and the Male Altar icon is the set for 2013's Harrowing for buying a Harrowing skin.

: Is Riot really giving out an old, unused, and uninteresting icon for 100 games of Twisted Treeline?
They did only give a single icon for the deletion of The Crystal Scar (Dominion for those not in the know), so yey, they improved the rewards by 300 %. Of course that entails a working client where we can actually show off these fabulous new icons, but hey can't expect too much, right.

: Windows is ironically not really build to run applications not-fullscreen so you might want to enable fullscreen for an FPS boost. Other than that activate "low-spec mode" in the client, it makes it so that when your game starts the client closes itself freeing a bit of extra horsepower. The best thing to increase your FPS without spending money however is to lower the game's resolution even further. Resolution is the biggest factor when it comes to FPS. If you're okay with spending up to $100 however I'd suggest a RAM upgrade. From your FPS I'm assuming that your RAM is very slow and possibly not even running in Dual Channel mode. RAM Speed and bandwidth heavily influence an onboard GPU's performance so you'll want to minimize that bottleneck. Honestly I'm surprised that the HD4000 cannot offer better performance, I was sure it would be able to run League on 30FPS all low-medium settings. If you're considering the RAM upgrade send me your RAM's specifications and I'll tell you if it's worth a try. You can find your RAM's specifications by using a 3rd party program like CPU-Z. It should look something like this: https://i.stack.imgur.com/scBz3.png See the box that says "Channel # Dual"? I suspect yours will say "Channel # Single".

You got info rows that aren't even listed in mine (v.1.68.0). Nice and fast timings on that RAM though, at CL7. Mine's all the way up at CL10, though running at a higher frequency (800 MHz dual-channel XMP). I went for more RAM over faster RAM.

: Damn girl
This is a perfect example of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaiE-6bMWNU Teamwork! But seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing someone proportioned like this in the game. Someone called her thicc, and she'd tie them up in a knot.

It depends on how much it would be extended with, as it takes roughly 3 weeks between checkpoints. I certainly hope it won't be extended, as it's everyone's personal choice to lose their calm over whatever tilting behaviour they encounter.

It's common practice to lock them because the discussion topic is usually done. > > That other removal is because, I think, you edited a statue of Jesus, and that could have had rather negative repercussions. There are much older threads out there, older than mine that aren't even locked and it just so happens to be the same person who gets another thread of mine removed. Even if the reason behind it is somewhat decent this time. As for the statue meme, it's not my edit and I don't see how it's really offensive. It doesn't change any parts of the statue itself, it just has bonus things added in the overall image which in themselves aren't offensive either because it's not like drugs, alcohol or anything like that is being shown...

Making something dull and boring and digitally spriting it up a bit. So, DJ Yasuo when? Sona is feeling lonely... Don't know where you found the image, but Googled labeled it as "bungee jumping" when I tried to look for a higher resolution of it... Also, on the other side of that religious coin: https://images-cdn.9gag.com/photo/5600296_700b.jpg >Jeez Just a heads up, some "people" may take such slurs as taking the Lord {{champion:17}} name in vain. [Insert heresy meme.] _Sorry mods, but I can't take religious deletions seriously._
