{{champion:32}} {{champion:17}} {{champion:1}} in that order. They're one of the old champions in the game and their kits never changed in any meaningful way. All of their kits at OK, but feel weird or have strange interactions with their own abilities. {{champion:17}} W is just a movement speed boost. It used to be really good back in S2 and 3, but now it lost its power due to everyone and their grandma having a dash. {{champion:32}} E feel out of place with its passive. It's only there so he can clear jungle and it's not that good when he has no way to force the enemy to attack him. {{champion:1}} W is awkward. I wanted to put e here but they changed it in a good way with the % dmg reduction and tibbers link. Her w is very short range and spread, most champions have much larger aoe's with much larger range.

Now it's mostly just bought for the bonus AD and Lethality, rather than the Active itself. I liked Assassin's more back in the day. Youmuus granting more interesting bonuses like bonus Attack Speed upon Activation. Duskblade being an interesting item that acted in a way like Zed R I suppose (but Duskblade being a more balanced back then).

Percent health and true damage were once a rarity in the game, now both are seen in every match, with percent health damage being added to practically every new kit, and true damage being distributed in heavy amounts via the rune system, plus some newer kits as well. This causes tank itemization to feel bad when it's balanced, which then requires tank stats to inflate to match increases in anti-tank damage, or some other form of compensation (i.e. increases in tank damage), which then make those champions overbearing against those who were designed before all of this damage creep. It will therefore always be very difficult to balance tank itemization in the current environment until we start removing excessive max health and true damage from the game. I also agree that defensive items are now frequently designed to deal more damage, when they should be made to provide new ways to soak up damage, or otherwise contribute in a way that truly benefits tanks. I really like the idea of defenses being more active in League, and I think making more items that allow the user to tank skillfully could help allow tanks to be durable without turning into passive bullet sponges. On top of that, I think tanky itemization needs to change so that it benefits tanky champions specifically, without ever being abused by squishies looking to cover their weaknesses. One of the factors behind the current state of snowballing in League is that many damage-dealers have had their base damage reduced and their scalings increased, in an attempt to force them to rely on damage itemization and avoid tanky builds. Because these champions scale far harder with damage items now, they snowball harder off of gold leads, leading to the really gross damage spikes we see so often now. If tanky items were made to specifically benefit tanky champions, perhaps with an emphasis on power through scaling with health and resists, rather than just from the raw stats themselves, all champions could be allowed to be made less snowbally without going for abusive builds as much. Additionally, putting emphasis on actually tanking damage with these items, e.g. by giving bonuses that scale with the wielder getting hit, could similarly discourage tanky builds on squishier champions.

Yep I remember when Lee and Elise were among-st the only people with % hp dmg and that made them the best junglers. That and it wasn't capped vs monsters.

So to give him melee fish power, you'd probably have to take something away from him, like making him able to be hit while on top of his troll pole, or removing the CC from his fish altogether.

If you made him targetable in e then you would have to give him a huge fucking buff. I'm not talking about something minor like .5 scaling on one ability or 100 base dmg. I mean 3-5 bonus scaling on abilities over all and more. He would need to be able to burst you with his basic abilities from 100% easily. That's like making LB unable to port back to her w or making it so zed can't switch with his shadows.

What are the passive dot values now and what are the full changes to the passive? Also does W still have an aa reset on cast? I will be checking this out, so i will refrain from commenting too much at the moment. Things I noticed so far are that the W cdr is way too long. 12 sec with used W rank 1 to 8 sec rank 5. With 40 CDR it's 2.4 rank 5. Seems a bith high for an ability you max second, but I'll have to test it. This is all assuming cdr starts when fizz uses it, like old fizz. Also old Fizz had 5.4 sec cdr adn could perma use it, which he might need now too with the lack of strong bleed.

: He still has a dot, just doesn't have the "charging" mark that he applies with autos/R. Delaying Fizz's full damage allows his opponents to play around it, so we want to keep his time-to-kill in a range that still feels fair to opponents. Items change the equation a bit (e.g. Lich Bane), so its probably more fair to look at different gameplay situations holistically. I'd encourage you to try it on PBE if possible - I actually think his damage is a bit high in this version right now, especially early, but we'll see how it tests. I'm happy to jump onto the FizzMains subreddit.
