If i have a PD it goes where the Nid is.
: Unfortunately, the general population doesn't know it should be buying almost all good rank 1 units whenever they come across them early game. Guys, it doesn't matter that you have an early nidalee and warwick, if you roll vayne/trist/garen the next round, buy all 3. You quite literally lose nothing from this strat and you have *everything* to gain. -Buy all the tier 1s you can early because you don't know what build you're going and you have a higher chance of high rolling something because you're technically going for 5-6 units instead of 1-2. -*IF YOU DON'T* you're just leaving more tier 1s in the pool for other people to buy and the odds that they get rank 3 skyrocket. It's simple really, If I roll a nidalee and warwick and decide i want to maintain that wild buff at all costs, and now I'm ignoring the vaynes, trists, garens, kassaddins, and khas, there's going to be WAY more of them available for other people that are trying to upgrade them. This issue will only be a problem in lower MMRs. Watch some of the best streamers, in higher tier games, it's quite common to win with *no* rank 3 units. Sometimes They'll have 1-2. It's *usually* more important to upgrade your epic units to 2 stars.
Ow i swallow up all the 1 costs usually , but once i get like 2 lvl2s i tend to start selling off the spares to hit interest points... i gues gobleing up units untill the bench is full is a thing... because Econ isn't a thing that matters amirite?!

Sorry you lost I mean that's another thing ... the round i got knocked out, i had won against that person the round previous but on the second round my gnar decided, instead of throwing around their backline, and maybe splitting stuff away from the kindred, he proceded to throw the dude entire frontline INTO my asol ... who died instantly. I dono lategame seems a little random to in this sens... so many times i've seen like 2-3 wins vs a comp go into a loss. Same positions, same units, just that like a pyke ulted 1 unit left instead of going right through the whole team. I've been on the loosing and winning end of this. I've had an enemy assassin comp where pyke jumps on my back PD tank, hits it and ult's horizontally hitting the back 2 units only. Next round he starts drawing X's on my entire clump....

Im more concerned with how few items in our options are actually useful. the only things anyone wants really are rageblade, SoS, and another item based on your carry but almost 100% gaurunteed to use either a bow or a BF sword because those are the only 2 items that seem to matter. Stuff like the items that silence, disarm, etc. i havent seen anyone use those intentionlly, yo just kinda get them because someone combined or you misclicked. We need item buffs so all items are usefull in some way, not nerfs to an item that only counters 1 build

INTENTIONALLY!!!!! (i mean you know , after i have at least 1 SoS because tear, but swordbreaker is Chain Vest / Negatron) Basically the idea is gunslingers proc the disarm silence accros the entire team. If you happen to also put it on a gunslinger ... who is a blademaster they attack so much it buggs the animation :P

Nowhere, the answer is nowhere because the game was pushed so hard they broke it's spine and now there's a bloody hand puppeting it form within. Stuff like champion stats like armor, attack speed, damage are nowhere to be found. Same as simple things like combining items on the ground or even hovering one item over another to see what it makes or you know.... a flashing light that something in the shop is an upgrade to your bench / field .... We have pyke tho!

Hoooooonestly yeah pikes busted but if you nerf him you're removing assasins from the game period. He carries that comp on his back. I think AI improvements and maybe like making him way squisher would help more than just nuking a comp from orbit. The problem i find with pyke is not that the stun is to strong or sho'jin is to strong , there's counterplay to that. The problem i have with pyke is that if you stick your PD tanks in the back like you're suposed to do vs assassins Pyke is just going to hit your tank twice, get bored, and procced to draw a penis across your entire team, nulifying any "tactics" you might employ. A thought. Sorcs generate more mana from autoattacking yes? maybe make it so assassins generate next to no mana from AA's but crits also crit mana (just regular 25% baseline crits any unit in the game can perform). That way if a pyke is wailing on a PD it'll take him forever to charge his ult and not just run off.

The dude was lvl _6_ ffs and i was lvl 8 in wild sorcerours. Had an Asol lvl 2 with 2 shojins had a Shivana / Cho with PD's in the back row and my front was Gnar / Warwick. Somehow i got knocked out on that fight. I assume it was because of the pyke hitting my tanks like twice then drawing a penis across my whole team. X Wa Gn X Ka As Ni A X Sh Ch X That was the box i made around my asol and again, i got beat by a random like 3 void 2 ass 2 sorc comp 2 levels bellow me *shrug* Bizzarlly against the top player another dude running 6 assasins i was winning. With my PD / BT Shivana usually moping up 2-3 assasins after transforming. Add that to the long..... looooooong list of things that need to be "improved" PATHING.

They're good to roll early and snowball you to a win but if someone stabilizes you're 1-2cost 3* units are loosing pound for pound vs an actual comp with 3-4-(hell 5)cost 2* units. : I have played 2 matches of this now, just to try it out. First time I went in cold - and I wanted to break something IRL from the frustration of not having a single pointer ingame as to how anything works, is connected or how to navigate. I still get popups in ARAM about "returning to base won't heal me", even after 9654 games there. In Teamfight Tactics: Nothing! Second time, having read up a bit on it and applied thought and tactics into it, I have not been so bored in a long, long time while actually playing a game. Nothing happened, time passed and every second of it felt wasted, and the only incentive to keep players hooked is by outright bribing them with "rewards" (emotes, icons, "beta pass" (whatever that is) etc.). It felt outright insulting. Knowing the basics, the sheer RNG on items and champions felt like a punch in the face too. This is a pure mobile game, and got NOTHING to do with League of Legends as the game should be played - or used to be played anyway, with actual long-game strategies instead of the second-to-second tactics we now have.
I mean maybe riot misscomunicated somewhere but no, the game doesn't have anything to do with LoL the game, the only thing in common is a LoL skin and 'everybody' knows that. It's a different genre of game. Might be a mistake on their part if you went in and expected another way to play League like Aram or Urf.

Hehehehe i saw a Carousel today with a FoN a Bloodthirster and a Spatula , tft isn't rng btw! Serioslly thought if you'd like to keep the rng items at least ffs normalize item POWER. Chain mails is damn near useless i've had 3 sitting on my bench at one point. Also lost a game by accidentally combining a fucking Locket instead of a Ionic Spark. My tank had Morello Locket and a Negatron on him the entire game untill i lost .... in what ~4 and ~4 creep waves i didn't see another Needlessly Large Rod - improve the damn UI pls...

To many people are unaware of this and i get a custom mod you join lobbys to play can't exactly make this apparent but Underlords and TFT really shoulda have spotlighted this information considering the number of people calling the game "RNG" (i mean TFT is heavilly rng based but in the item department, not champions)
: Number 1 is exactly why I'm not playing this any more. Random champs, great. I can deal. Random amounts of loot for clearing just as many creeps? Nope. Not even remotely close to a good design. That's one of the most asinine things I can even think of implementing. Random items I can also deal with, in conjunction with random champs. But getting absolutely nothing only to face someone who got 3 completed items from the very same creeps I just fought? Lol wtf was Rito thinking?? As it stands, here are the "tactics" involved in TFT: 1. Clear creeps. 2. Leave if you weren't the one lucky bastard to receive all the loot. 3. Join a new game, rinse, repeat.

: that's what happens here all the time. If we count everything 4th place a win, i have a roughly 70% winrate rn in my first twenty games. Guess i just got lucky 15 out of 20 games and everyone else here is unlucky ^.^ its kinda tilting reading so much baseless hate for a great and fun gamemode.

*shrug* might as well stick this here then So i see alot of people complaining about RNG, both here and on the Dota Underlords boards. Unit "RNG" is a staple of these games wich means you can't go into a game with a strategy in mind, you must adapt to what the shared global shop pool gives you. That being said TFT doesn't have any iirc, 9 unit synergies and where "other" games have most synergyes at breakpoints of 3, alot more here at at 2s (knights, gunslingers, rangers, wild) wich mean gives you alot of wiggle room to play with what is in the shop and not end up with an inferior build. I love this In underlords there basically 3, meta comps right now, Mages, Hunters and Knights , these being tier S with Demons and Warriors and Druids argueably stitting at t1. Trying to build anything else will probably get you stomped by anyone playing meta even by accident. The thing is in underlords i feel i can build my comp as late as even round 15 and the sheer strenght of the bonuses (and the lack of item snowball) will carry me even if my line-up is underleveled. This is a good and bad thing. Overall i think i prefer TFT in this regard as you trully MUST adapt on the spot and not go in with an idea of "ok i'll go for 1 of the tier S comps and if X happens in a pinch i can stick with a Tier A comp". Some comps are better than others clearly, and you should know when you can go for them though. This is a plus on how the alliances and units are balanced against each other in a vacuum in TFT , you can win with "anything" as long as you play for economy and just outlevel your opponent ... hell i won with Pirate Gunslinger Assasins Imperial Knights yday AND i turned my Draven into my 3rd assasin by the end. Even had a lvl 2 MF. HOWEVER 1) Item rng flushes this all down the toilet and throws dynamite at it. While in terms of composition i can slap my hands stop being so greedy, not reroll and realize that comp i was being pulled into early isn't going to pan out and i should probably switch.... no amount of building and planning will stand up to the massive thunder cock of a triple item vayne... or darius ... or sol. Item NUMBER variance should not be a thing. Unit greed is mitigateable and in fact a component of playing autochess games. Knowing when to slap your hand off the reroll button and to play for eco, knowing when your line-up is "good enough" and you can float 30-40g to edge out a few upgrades, is a skill. People getting 5 items on round 4 is soooooo bad. It seems to be a point that's being hammered atm but here's my voice NORMALIZE ITEM DROPS FFS! At LEAST on the first 3 rounds, at least! Ti prego! ~~2)~~ And maybe this should be 1) but i feel item snowballing really tosses any "tactics" out the window. Ow and for the love of all that is fluffy don't do what Blizzard did to legendary items in Legion. Having a specific legendary over a different one was a pretty big boost in power , like 15% more damage for having one Legendary instead of another one, so instead of boosting droprate or making the legendary's elective so people could get the ones that want instead of random ones, they just "normalized" - heavily nerfed - the good ones so everyone was "equal" ---- equally boring. The items should be powerfull and exicting. See point about unit balance. It shouldn't matter if you get a Rageblade and your opponent gets a Zephyr. /rant sigh 2) The UI is ...... erm "clearly rushed". Let's just put it that way. In short i tryed to get a friend to play the game yday a friend with hundreds of hours play in Auto-chess and Underlords. "Dude the opponents arn't beating me, this UI is" "So this is my first and last game of this "lovely" game , at least untill they fix this UI". And i aggre with him. I have patience for tediosness when i want something (and i really WANT to love this game) to rival the man in the iron mask but for god's sake how did you guys think this was OK?! Units in the shop don't glow when they're an upgrade (considering i havn't seen people whine about this maybe i'm not noticing something?) Left panel only shows what you have on the board. It does not show if there's is something in the bench that would add to your comp, it does not show if there's something in the SHOP that would add to the comp Colour code Class / Origin icons please No indication of what the enemy is playing No indication of a units stats or class during the carousell No indication of when my minion is going to be released from the carousell No indication of what items combine into untill they're allready on a champion (god bless the 2nd monitor) No Shortcut Key to lock the shop (really?). No big indication that it is a new round, this is a niggle but honestly i've had many many instances of just sitting there and it took a good 5-10 seconds to realize "ow! it's a new round! i have gold and new units". Some text in the middle of the screen would be nice. Aparently avatars cost like 100$? Really ~~EA~~ Riot?
