Hello. How do you guys feel about teh curretn season compared to the past was it overall an improvement? One more, is there anything please planned for Taliyah, especially taliyah mid? Honestly dmg runes in general are kind of too much considering how much damage you can whip out even without them. Have you thought about perhaps even removing some in the future? Is it needed to have two big dmg runes in sorcery (and I use sorcery ;)) and dmg runes in domination. I'd personally prefer more unique and utility options from runes in general rather than straight damage. It's kinda boring. Pick dmg champ, get dmg runes, get dmg items. It would be nice if you picked dmg champ and pick runes which in utility propel your champ to his/her damage rather than stacking overything on top of each other. There is a number of runes but half of them feels pretty much the same. What do you think? Have a nice day.

: Yeah. To be honest, most of the time I assume people are less toxic when playing with content creators because they know a lot of people will see it. It's kinda sad really. I wish people could stop being so toxic and focus on actually playing the game. Then the game would probably be more progressive and the game might be a little more fun. Maybe we should get rid of voice chat, but I don't know. Those people that create the toxic environment would possibly resort to something stupid. Like spam ff votes, inting, spam pings, etc. It's bad enough some people spam pings now either because they think it's funny or because they think their teammates are morons and the only way to stop them from feeding is to constantly ping them. I understand you can mute pings, but you can also mute chat. Both of these functions I think are used very rarely though. I guess the worst thing that could happen is they give it a test run with in-game chat removed and see if that helps things, but I don't think Riot even cares anymore. :(
Well I'm fine with voice chat/chat being available for premades. I'd just disable it for the rest and keep teh text only to those who are there together. Ping spam is easily managebale compared to chat, you just block pings if there is a number in success of them. So I if that would solve itself out soon too (I even wonder how much would peopel spammed it after a certain amount of time, it's probably less satisfying to just spam pings for toxicity). I'd like to see Riot talking about this subject at least or a test period :-).
: I don't know how often you communicate in your premades, but when I play with my friends we talk constantly about what we're doing, going to do, or figuring out what we should do. What would be the best plan of action at the time? I don't get that same quality of communication from randoms. Heck even the pings half the time don't tell me much because they ping for assistance, but not when the enemy is missing or danger because the enemy jungler headed in the direction of my lane and I was in battle, so I couldn't focus on the map as easily. Pings are only good for displaying what you're going to do or what's currently happening. You can't discuss, only have ping arguments if you disagree on what the next move should be. You can't explain why you want to do that and convince them. There's just no wiggle room. You'd generally have to just follow along if they pinged first even if you don't agree that that's the best move to make. The problem however being that even with in-game chat, it's slow to communicate and you might run out of time to put the plan in motion if you can't explain in type quickly enough. Which is why voice communication has an advantage over in-game chat.
Well that's why I suggested keeping the chat for premades as is voice chat now. I understand the point that in chat you can make poems and strategize as much as you want but how often do you do that with other people (not premade), how often they do it? How large is that percentage of use of chat like that. How much is, compared to that, chat used just just to flame someone. Sure there would be slight learning curve but so far I can't find a reason why it wouldn't work. My example of DoTa which I'd say has still more complex patterns works just fine - though voice chat is on from the beginning - with pings. There is a chat but it's the same as LoL's chat not used for game purposes that much ;0. As far as I'm concerned I prefer voice chat so when I play with friends I just use a microphone. It's a valid point what you say and it's what I pointed out in the original post, in a way, too. I'm just wondering how much is it worth, is it 90% players who use it in 90% of theyr matches and I'm always just in the remaining 10% matches? All the videos I see online and such seem to be pretty unlucky on that last 10% as well. (I just picked numbers to represent vast majority vs minority no base for that) But I'm certain I'm in the 99% of games where I see people offending each other all the time, spaming, ... Am I really the only unlucky one? ;0
: As much as I hate the toxicity and bming and all that, if you get rid of in game chat and you're not in a party that can talk then you get rid of the only possible way to communicate and strategize. There will be some people that are willing to put down the trash talk and actually work together to make plays happen even if they are few and far between. Not being able to communicate and strategize at all puts you at an even bigger disadvantage against premades then there currently is.
Sure but I wonder how much such occurence happens and can't pings really take over it? In like 10 years or how long has this game been out I have never used chat so little as since they released ping support. Example: Bot lane what lvl 6 init? Ping Ult Plus Exp Bar and we go in. And much more. If the ping system got a few more options there wouldn't really be anything you would really need chat for. I don't know if you ever tried DoTa2 but people more or less forgot about chat unless they want to BM someone because of how they can utilize various pings. It's the same genre and works just fine for anyone (though voice chat is open to everyone that's true). Even now against premades how often people use chat to strategize?

I can't see why. I don't use chat and in all my games if anyone uses it it's to crap on someone else. I don't think I'd weel that lonely without people spamming report since the 3rd min xD. I know it's not the best example but hearthstone works with emotes jsut fine (sure it's 1v1 short experience but still a concept).

Hello, I asked this question in other topic but I'd like to ask you guys too. Have you ever tried/thought/tested a champion with stances (nidalee, jayce) which are sharply separated into defence and offence? For example it wouldn't be able to attack in defence stance and had defensive kind of abilities while in offence stance ... (obvious) Have you tested or would you like a champion with progressive autoattacks? Now I don't mean the reguler 2nd/3rd/4th/... attack higher dmg but perhaps differences in a few attacks in a row similar to kled. For example a champion throws something as the first aa it stops somewhere further ahead, on the second aa it pulls it back and the third it I don't know does a cleave - aoe - kind of aa, or some other possibility? Hello, I'd like to kindly ask about Irelia considering she will be coming soon (correct? :-)). There was a reddit post on ireliamains from a rioter stating there should have been work done on base model hair, aviator hair and changes to frost blade skin. I believe aviator changes have been out for qutie a while. But I don't think I noticed any changes to the base hair model, it still looks pretty flat/cape like, was it dropped or will there be any follow up before the release or anytime after? Considering several changes to frostblade skin, is the current iteration the final form? There has been quite a few people liking the reworked model/color balance, and some other things for some other people so I'm jsut wondering if there is any other work planned for her or if it has been finished? Thank you very much and have a nice trip I guess? :-) PS: I like the rework mechanics, how do you like playing her now?

I think the same. Right now the color balance is off. I don't think the giant fur collar was great but in general was part of the balance of the character with a few tweaks it was turning much better. The worst part is that the skin feels much worse when you play it on pbe now. On pictures it's more or less decent but when you play it it's really bland school girl.
: Frostblade Irelia splash and ingame tweaks
When you play this iteration of the skin it doesn't really feel that great. It's like a pin up girl without any personality. I did not like the huge fur wrap around her neck before (thought it got much better after recolor) it was giving her much more of a personality than it is now. It might look nice on images but when get to play it it just lacks anything characteristic. It's very bland. I hope they will at least revert the purplish look to balance the colors better and give her some character. Right now when she moves it's like a kid at a swimming pool with those inflatable water wings. Not sharp at all.

I actually think that she is back fun to play again after the nerfs she was hit with. We can expect some more nerfs in some pretty close patch. Have you palyed her during the patch she was actually nerfed? That was horrendous. If I remember correctly there is a riot comment which says that currently she is pretty strong in early mid and false hard off in late game. Translating that basically means that she will get some more nerfs sooner or .. well no doubt sooner with how people are loud about her ;).

Mid seasson will be focused on bot lane. No doubt Lucian will be part of that.

Both games have different designs that's probably why. Hots was designed to be a game which depends on various maps and utilities of these maps while LoL was designed to be played mostly on one map (same with Dota, Dota 2, Smite - here are some exceptions but still the same category). Balance of LoL is around items, timings (basically if yo uget ahead opponents can itemize, use objective control, ..., but mostly itemize), csing. Hots is balanced around map variations, champion variations (some are better on specific maps than other), if you are behind in hots you go for objectives and try to use them for team fights or getting back at the enemy. Hots came later trying to create a new hole in the generic moba plane (and I think successfully). Both games are pretty fun and quite different. If you use multiple maps and separate queues you dilute palyer base for every map, you will have maps that are more popular thus having more players queued than other. Be it one queue with multiple maps or multiple queues you still have to deal with items and balancing them together with champions. TL;DR; Well, basically one game is balanced around a large number of items and champions on one map while the other considers maps as part of the balance options but not going that deep with items (sure it has perk system but it's champion specific).

I like the second one the best and it's sound effects sound the best too I think. The first one sfx kind of don't fit the mecha part which is so sad (because i was looking forward to this particular one). Because sfx pushed the first one down the last one (white) is my second choice. :0 Nice skin in general.

Well, from the business point of view: they have rules they have to stick to, they are paid for it, they wouldn't keep their jobs for logn if they were vulgar, toxic and flamed like noone before. It's the same about every company and it's PR department. Unless there is something going wrong.
