Now they lost a lot of hp and one shield edit: Btw, the ward part of sightstone didn't cost you 800g, it only costed 400g (400 for 150 hp)

The changes seems to just remove all the fun of support tbh, I will miss relic shield passive, it allows tank supports to have a solid engage and not die instantly because tank support items are much weaker than actual tank items in terms of stats, which the old reward solved. NowI don't even care about the reward "YAY, after a hard lane and struggling to get my support item gold I get a sightstone instead of something useful..."

Your idea can never work and would be simply abused. You mentioned that the system should reflect reality, but the real world isn't a fairy tale with a happy ending you know that, right? Here is a couple of examples : # a foot ball team losing the game because one of their players had a problem in his life (e.g.one of the people he cares about died , he broke up ....etc) then this affect his play, now he lost, should they make his lose less painful? No. # a war between 2 countries ends by one of them wining because the other had many people get ill for what ever reason, so they end up as a lower count and lose. In both examples, lets say the opposed happens, would they get extra rewarded for their achievement? No.

Well , only ruby and FOTM have high hp , the other sups item have very little, and you are comparing different champs like Janna vs leona . lets say you have karma mid , and karma sup . The repdeption of the karma sup will be much stronger than mid (unless the karma mid builds full sup items with windskeeper. the other example is leona top vs leona sup , leona top locket will always give more hp , as she can build titanic hydra , frozen mallet and many HP items without doing off role stuff . The hp you get from all tank sup items is only 1200 (if you go ruby and FOTM ) and a normal tank build will give you more than 1600 hp (without warmogs ) BTW , I am not saying locket is weak , it is so strong , but the problem with locket is it will always be stronger on non-sup tanks (unless the sup goes non sup items , which is sub-optimal for the team ) while redeption will be stronger on sup , without forcing them to build any item that is not non-sup . the hp scaling on locket is like saying "lets give redemption an ap scaling !" so this is my point

: Historically, because Burst damage was magical versus DPS that was physical. Today? I'm not so sure. We now have plenty of AD Assassins with Physical Burst and even a few Mages with decent DPS like Ryze and Cassio. Note that it's not just Stormlord. Statik's procs are also Magic, Grasp of the undying too, and pretty much all the other procs.
I guess so , it seems an old part of lol that is still living today

: Not exactly full tank, but you still need some attack speed. I have done rageblade+wits end with decent success in ascension, but not sure how that would translate into a normal SR game. I think she still gets owned earlygame, and lategame.... well she's Vayne regardless of whether she went the bruiser path or ADC path for lategame. Doesn't actually change much in regards to her laning but a tankbusting specialist that can't be killed is kinda bad I think.

I'm a Mid lane and Jungle main btw, but I play a lot of ADC too.

well , games get too long . tsm vs clg game 2 was 50 min , and dl even sold his boots , so pro teams will need him as he is a guaranteed late game option for the team .
