: I feel you, but don't let them makes you wanna cry seriously this bullshit shouldn't get to you ! be strong ! Do you sometimes try playing ranked flex, with friends and everyone in vocal chat ? I'm not telling you to stop solo queue, but it's really fucking nice to take small breaks and have great games where everyone tries their best and communicates via Discord/Mumble/TS/Whatever. Even if you loose some, it still feels great because you know everyone tried, nobody was spamming surrender votes, nobody tilted, nobody trolled, ... The communication between each others helps a lot, setting up ganks is 10 times easier, you can engage without the fear that your allies won't follow, everyone can focus the same champion in a teamfight and trust me that is a game changer compared to solo queue, you'll be able to make great macro strategies and overall it leads to nice plays. I'd really suggest you to find some online friends to try this, they don't need to speak your native language, understanding basic english is enough, it's a really nice way to play the game everything seems cleaner. It'll help with this feeling to alternate between some solo queue and flex 5v5. **You should really try it i can't stress that enough !** Otherwise what i often do is taking a pause when a bad game occur. There is also specific times of the day where you'll find way less toxicity, like in the middle of the day it's often better than in the middle of the night. Remember that we are around christmas and the new year so kids are in vacation at the moment and there is always more toxic people when little kids are in vacations. Sorry for my english it's really late here :)

I did however played in the competitive beta with a nice team, so that was pretty nice. I don't know if you on NA got to try it yet, but I liked it a lot. Somehow I posted this wall of text on the NA boards instead of the EUW boards which I meant to do. I actually thought my post disappeared since I didn't see it again now 4 days later.
: Just make sure you don't call them out on their trolling or get frustrated that you're playing with people who die more in 5 minutes than you have in the last 5 games, because you'll get banned because your mutable words hurt their feelings, and they'll carry on ruining games.

I don't really flame. Sometimes I ask WTF are you doing and can you please calm down and stop inting? That's like the worst I'm saying for a lack of better words. Unfortunately this community gets butt hurt by the word 'inting' even if it's simply true.
: Regarding the ping issue. I can go playing for hours at my normal ~60-70ms ping, then suddenly a teamfight breaks out, and I'm getting upwards of 15,000 ping. It isn't consistent for time of day, weather, anything, completely seemingly random. So you're saying that because I'll occasionally have these huge lag spikes, I should be banned from playing certain modes? What makes those modes more important than any other, honestly? There are plenty of factors which affect connection speed and reliability, and because you claim to never have any issues with it, other people should be punished for things out of their control?

There are plenty of factors which affect connection speed and reliability, and because you claim to never have any issues with it, other people should be punished for things out of their control? Any ranked mode is generally regarded as a more serious game mode than let's say normal draft or blind pick even more so than the special game modes or ARAM that are mostly just for fun. That's why I think it would be better if the more serious game modes have a more reliable player base. I'm not talking about a perma ban from a game mode when your connection isn't optimal from time to time, but if you have consistent connection issues I think it would be better if you would barred from ranked modes. As I would implement it, it would be an adaptive system where your connection would be monitored and if you lag in over let's say 10% of the games you play for longer periods of time then you would get a temporary ban until you drop back below that 10%. You shouldn't look at this like a punishment, but as a way to alleviate one of the bigger ways that negatively impact the outcome of games which has nothing to do with any form of skills. Ranked modes more than other modes are supposed to be a test of skill and not a test of internet connection reliability or stuff like that. By your logic it shouldn't even matter if something like that would be implemented because for apparently for you all game modes are equal anyway.

: HUD Update Q&A
I don't know how the surrender vote popup window will look like, but like I have stated multiple times: I think that the current surrender vote popup window on live is way to intrusive. Is there any chance you will fix this issue with this HUD update?
