: They are doing it because they know they can get away with it. Unfortunately you will get in more trouble for saying something back to them then they will for purposley trolling. This is the unfortunate reality of a system that tries so hard to eliminate toxicity and human emotions but doesn’t do anything about physical trolls that just try to ruin your game by feeding.
Exactly, there is almost no justice in this system at the moment when it comes to lobby pick/ban time, and innocent people are basically forced to lose LP because of some scumbags while they suffer no punishment for the disorder they comitted

: How do people play the game if they keep their index on R? Do you press Q with your pinkies? That just seems like a super awkward way to play.

Do you press Q with your pinkies? That just seems like a super awkward way to play. Yeah. Some players like IWD have their pinky rest on Q. I guess it's easier using ultimates when you have a finger on the button rather than moving your index one key to the right. I still don't get how he pings, since I use shift/ctrl/alt in game a lot for normal cast/pinging/self cast stuff like that.

: The flash key is on D since it's more easier to react for me. But I did changed some hotkeys in the past. When I was a new player I had no idea how people used the ping system so I make my ping hotkeys on 1-5 keys so I can react immediately. As I become more aware of how the game works, I learned that some items have abilities (like {{item:3157}}) and clicking on them with my cursor it's great for my reactions. So I had to change my hotkeys again, and by that making my 1 - 6 keys for items (the ` key for the trinket). Even tho I know how to activate the Ping Wheel, It still feels "uncomfortable" to use so I make my F1 - F5 keys for my pings. There is actually some pings I don't know how to activate like the "Recall" yellow message or "Need Xg to by Item" message in chat pings.

Recall is just ctrl + left click on the recall icon and pinging amount of gold needed is alt + left click on an item in the shop. It took me a while to figure out gold too.
: Really, I use one finger for all my buttons and I put flash on F and that isn't in your poll.

: It would be nice if Evelynn could more easily attack plants/shrooms.
: F is for Flash. D is for Distance (teleport/snowball), Destroy (ignite/spite), Defense (barrier/heal), Disable (exhaust) Ghost is a wild card. It can either be on f for "Fast". Or d for "Don't you know you gotta go fast?"

: D on flash for me was just how when I initially changed it, it was set-up. Basically that was the "default" for me because I swapped out the summoner spell that was on D for Flash because I wanted to keep the summoner that was on F (I think it was heal). I just adapt to control schemes more than personalize so I never bothered to change it and my hands moved to accommodate having this important active on D (index finger is on E -- this was probably also influenced by my playing Ez so much that I needed a "stronger" finger than a pinky on Q). I also play a lot of keyboard control schemes so some of my positioning may have been influenced by my natural WASD + QE configurations. It's interesting, but at the exact same time, my husband defaulted to flash being on F probably for the same initial reasons. I think in the grand scheme of things, people are doing muscle memory and we learn either D or F depending on where it was placed at the start (or where we chose to place it). There is no right or wrong answer because it's all dependent on what you've learned to play.

It's interesting how you remember so much about how and why you set it up like that in the first place.

: >I decided to test the limits of Riot's banning system, and I got kind of surprised. We were in a party of four, all of whom I know very well and I made a bet that I wouldn't get banned, even though I flooded that chat with racial slurs and general toxic profranities. That was uhh... well, it's your account. I don't know why that was surprising at all. It would be like putting your hand directly in a fire to test the limits of your skins heat resistance, and being surprised that you got burned.
Well to me it was like putting my hand over a flame for half a second, I wouldn't think I would get burned (maybe I'm just stupid). What I definitely didn't do was hold my hand over a flame for 10 seconds, i.e. flaming/being toxic in consecutive games. I would still like to stress I know what I did was stupid tho.
: I hope, for your sake, that you at least kept your profanity in /team chat. That said, though, Riot/the IFS don't necessarily _need_ multiple games of evidence to support a punishment, more as they try to present multiple games of recent evidence that validated reports against you. This is mostly for the sake of showing that misbehavior can be cumulative and that consistent misbehavior can lead to a punishment, just as one-off bouts of egregious behavior can. In general, the IFS tries to provide 1-3 logs of recent evidence, though the amount can be less depending on the severity of the behavior. I'm unsure from what timeframe it tries to pull the logs from (3 most recent valid reports in a week?), but as far as I can tell, the chat logs you receive should indicate that, at least in the past week, you've had two games that validated reports; the one five days ago, and then the recent one which resulted in the two-week suspension. At any rate, I suppose it's good that you at least understand the reason for the punishment. Just, a few words of warning; 1) Definitely don't do any tests like that again in the future, as the IFS will certainly respond to valid reports, as was shown. 2) You'll definitely want to be on your best behavior for the next few months, as following the 14-day ban, your account is on _very_ thin ice. Your next punishment will be a permanent ban, and you've largely lost any leniency the system may have had for more minor offenses (like negativity and minor insults). Hopefully you enjoy your short leave of the game, and even further don't wind up having to suffer a permanent suspension.
Sorry that I'm a noob at boards and can't quote Well I kept most of it in team chat, we did stress quite a lot to the random we had that it wasn't for real and he seemed kinda okay with it but I still feel bad Yeah this is my first and last time I'll try and pull this stupid stuff, and I'll try to be less toxic in general for the future > Hopefully you enjoy your short leave of the game, and even further don't wind up having to suffer a permanent suspension. Thanks. :P
: > another older chat log > 5-day old chat log That's not an old chat log.
Alright fine, maybe. But it still surprised me that they would not link like one or two chat logs of consecutive games. The more you know I guess.
