: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: August 23
Did you know that some of your players play this champion released 5 years ago called Rek'Sai? {{champion:421}} This elusive champion used to be one of the top most fun junglers to play with her tunnels that give her mobility and high damage with her combos. Now she's a old shell of her older dominant self, left to rot with mediocre damage, unfun mechanics only 2 skins, her newest one being a joke skin from Pool Party 2015. At this point, newer and more popular champions have gotten legendary and prestige skins (think {{champion:145}} {{champion:202}} {{champion:141}} {{champion:245}} and most importantly {{champion:555}} ) or even reworks and changes that still keep them fresh to play to this patch. Lots of us here Rek'Sai mains would love to see Rek'Sai updates, maybe give her a Quality skin to show how much Rioters care about us or, y'know, a better passive that does more for her, maybe let her bring her Void spawn with her to wreck some havoc, or a better more interesting and convoluted set of spells (making her Q and E more rewarding, impactful and interesting spells) like some of the better champions out there these days. We Rek'Sai mains really appreciate your work and hope to see some Rek'Sai action this year at Worlds. {{champion:421}} {{item:3031}}

: Nothing at present, low versus high elo remains an issue we'd like to work on at some point though certainly. Passive wise I do wonder if we should have just put Tremor sense on her innate passive in retrospect. We didn't given its impact's purely in one form, but it's certainly more defining and gameplay influencing generally than the Fury to Health effect.

No buffs to damage, tankiness, tremor sense or anything to match current meta which is focused on damage creep, no skins in 4 years and now you're thinking of retconning her passive? Just delete the champion already, it lives in pure agony after you gutted her so many times.

: Number of upvotes is relevant in that it helps us see the post in the first place. What matters in terms of whether we act on something is how good the argument is though. A thousand upvotes on 'buff Garen, he needs to be stronger' just says there are people out there who want Garen buffs with fewer people willing to downvote such a request. That's usually the case for any champ not currently considered overpowered. A not upvoted thread at all however, if it has great points about when Garen's weak, why that's inappropriate, how he could be changed in ways that are consistent with who Garen is/how he plays etc has better odds of getting traction (provided it gets seen in the first place that is).

: Good luck with your project If you can do an update when you've pinned down the basic mechanics you want for your game, so far it looks like you're going for 3d JRPG? I'm curious what you might be planning for the general in-combat gameplay. It's good to try and build those kinds of things early so you can figure out exactly what's making a game feel bad further along the process, even if you do something like Lux fighting Lux with 1 type of attack. Gotta make sure your basic mechanics are bug free and feel good to use.

Gotta make sure your basic mechanics are bug free and feel good to use. I'm looking to implement a tight combat system similar to Dragon Quest's , I've seen people doing that in Unreal Engine 4. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiWKPCNIMfM Only problem is that you will be able to fly and avoid random encounters on the ground, and random encounters in the air would probably be hard to do right without annoying the player. Maybe you'll be able to see the enemies and avoid them? Thanks a lot for your support!
