Some randomness makes it fun and makes your decisions in the present more valuable. But I do very much agree that having the amount of items that can be dropped is just too much, while the item should be random so that you can try and build synergies around the items that you get, everyone should get the same amount if they are able to defeat the minion waves. RNG takes power out of the player's hands. A small amount can be healthy for a game so that you don't end up with a match going the same way every time like Starcraft, but too much makes the player feel like there was nothing they could have done because the deck was stacked against them the whole time.
Yes, the point of RNG is to literally take the power out of the players hands so that they have to play with what they have been given. What I said was that some amount of RNG can be good in certain games like TFT where all of the gameplay is built around RNG and can lead to more surprising gameplay but too much is bad because that makes the player irrelevant. I don't really see what your point is.

What scares me is, what comes big, dies big. They're just cheap, they want to pay for the least amount of servers possible. They'd rather we deal with the peoblem than actually spend money on more or better servers.
: ??????????????
My client literally breaks while trying to queue. Thanks for taking my money for your little legends while not letting me use it Riot, I feel so satisfied as a consumer...
: Normalize Item drops NOW!
There isn't really anything wrong with RNG, Hearthstone is full of RNG but people love that game. Some randomness makes it fun and makes your decisions in the present more valuable. But I do very much agree that having the amount of items that can be dropped is just too much, while the item should be random so that you can try and build synergies around the items that you get, everyone should get the same amount if they are able to defeat the minion waves.
