: how have you never been able to get out of bronze? no hate no flame but really tho. like you’ve been bronze since season 4 and have a ton of games. i really don’t understand how you haven’t been able to get better in 5 years. like wtf i didn’t know it could be this bad for people

I never really took it serious to try and rank as high as possible. I mainly play ranked because usually you don't get a Sona or Soraka jungle or a Zed or Garen Support in ranked which in my experience happen more frequently in normal games. 2nd. I played the first few seasons with friends who was fairly new to the game as I, that in return did not really help me improve. 3rd. I might have become contempt with just playing Bronze with the occasionally promotion to low silver once in a while, which in return also did not help on me improving my skill level. 4th. When you play in bronze and your skill level is on par with the majority of players in that bracket it require a fair amount of luck to hit a winning streak where your team mates can carry you if you are not doing so great and you can carry them if they are not doing so great. But keep in mind that as much you can be in luck and win 10 games in a row you can on the other hand run in to some bad luck and loose 10 games in a row. 5th. Your MMR play a great factor too. The longer you stay at one place your MMR will level at that point and the more games you stay at that point the harder it get to make it move in a positive direction. You might get about 18 to 22 LP for a win the first two or three games but after that you'll be lucky if you get more than 15, when that is countered in you need to remember that you will loose 20+ points for a lost game, so even if you win 3 games in a row, or you alternate wins and losses and you keep about 50/50 win loss you will end up the same place or even below your starting point due to your MMR. 6th. It took me a really long time to get my mind in the right place when playing. For the longest time I tilted very easily and alt+f4, I got angry at my self really bad when things did not just roll, and then I started to rage at my team not realizing that maybe it in fact was me that made the mistakes I was blaming my team for. I now have a way more calm mindset when playing and is not so easily tilted even though it happens sometimes still. 7th. Playing with the same level opponents for a long time will not really improve your own skill level just keep you stuck in the same routines. To become better you need to play opponents that are slightly better than yourself all the time and the fact that I have managed to advance to silver more frequently this season than any other tell me that I am heading in the right direction, at the same time making me realize that there are so much I need to learn still before I can justify calling myself slightly decent. There might be more reasons as to why I have never ended a season out of Bronze, but this is what comes to my mind at this moment.

: Let's Chat about Honor
First of all I like the general idea about the new honor system and how it already now seem to have brought down the previous flaming to some degree. Most of my questions and concerns about the system seem to have already been asked and addressed. My main concern tho, is the way you are prompted to honor right after game ends. This leads to many, to my current experience, honors are based on only the last few minutes of the game cause that is what is in resent memory. One example on said issue is a personal experience I had with a game. Our toplaner did nothing all game but afk farm top, getting killed often due to being alone and easy gankable. After game he received the "most honorable player" emblem. Hes end KDA was 5/16/3 and he gets the honor over our support who had 70%+ kill participation and the reason why we even had a foothold in the game. And why is that, you may ask. The thing people remembered right after game was not how we fought 4vs5 and ace the enemy team and steal baron buff on the cost of the 4 of us. No the thing people remembered was how the toplaner was able to, with the help of the baron buff he did not participate in securing, destroy an Inhib tower, an Inhib, two Nexus towers and finally the Nexus and win us the game. What I too really miss with the new system is to take in consideration how people act in post game chat. Honorable behavior does not only occur during the game but certainly also after the game. It really stings when you honored someone who played good during the game and he then is a complete jerk about it in post game. Such behavior more likely deserves a report than an honor in my opinion. There is only one thing I hate more than a sore looser, and that is a bad winner.

: TL;DR. Though I skimmed. The positivity you're showing about playing the game itself, and what players in Bronze should do is admirable and I agree with it. That said, if in this wall of text you're backing up Bronze Players as not being bad, then you're hilarious. It's legitimately difficult to get to Bronze. It's comparable to playing against bots. If you have absolutely no game knowledge, but have the mechanics of a non-crippled gamer, you'd hover in Silver. The only exception is if you don't end games.

I am not in any way saying Bronze players are not bad, cause we are, we really are. I was, in my wall of text, kinda searching for a mentality change from people who smurf. They come to bronze expecting easy wins and sometimes it maybe is not so easy for them as expected, they start raging and flaming there team mates, demanding diamond plays from bronze players. It just doesn't work like that. I was trying to.... well I don't know, maybe a desperate hope of changing just a few people of the community before they become salty griefers.

: I don't see how anyone gets placed in Bronze. I have never ranked before this season (a few months ago), and I did really shitty in my pre-ranked matches, .. Still got placed in Silver IV.
Well it is because I am not very good. I also got placed in silver the very first time I played placement games. Next season, if you are still in Silver 4 and you are doing shitty placement games you might be placed in Bronze 2 or 3. That is what happened to me in any case.

First off, it's not a ban. And the reason why there are disincentives is very simple: if there were none, the amount of dodges would sky rocket. People can and would dodge for the slightest reason and you would spend far more than 20 minutes waiting to get into a game. >He is then denied the toplane because everyone, besides a selected few brain dead, hates Teemo There are many reasons why someone wouldn't want to switch and there are many people who don't hate Teemo because they don't find endless amusement in the same unfunny joke being repeated verbatim for 3+ years.

Was not meant to be a joke. I truly hate Teemo, not only do I hate Teemo on enemy team because he is just really annoying to play against, but I hate a Teemo on my team as well because I do not see him bring anything in to a teamfight. But that is for an other discussion forum. I am totally fine with getting a queue timeout sort of speak, but I really miss the possibility to inform Riot employees why I dodge that particular champion select. I somehow don't think it is fair, that I can't do something to prevent other players the frustration of having to deal with those faulty subjects, that is destroying the game play for others, unless I endure 20 minutes of agony and report them in post game menu.

: Am I alone?
Why should I be and less valued as a player just because I am a bronze player? It is not like I am a complete noob just because I play bronze. Yes the fact that I am a bronze player means that I still have a lot to learn about gameplay and map control and teamfights. I am not in any way questioning my skill level as I know I still got a lot to learn. But to discharge my concerns just on the fact that I am a bronze player don't really make your accusations valid in my humble opinion. The fact that I am a bronze player is not the same as not knowing about what is going on. I spend a lot of time on learning about game play to improve my skills and I know that my talent and reaction time will never bring me to the top of the league ladder. But why should you go and make it personally and state that my concerns is not valid just because I am a bronze player?
