: Nautilus lore - what's most important to you?
To me, the things that I enjoy about Naut's character can be described in a single word: "trudge". He's heavy, lumbering, slow and having to work to put a heavy foot in front of the other, both physically and in a way mentally. Despite how bleak his current existence is, he trudges forward, even if only for a desire for revenge or to just continue to move for the sake of it. There's a lot of intrigue as to why someone would be like that.

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: October 3
A questions I've had on the mind for a while now. Veigar has received a fair share of kit changes over the past 2-3 years now. His mini-rework in Season 5, his Midseason Magic changes and now his W buff. I'm happy with the, but I then worry that this Gameplay only changes will leave him with a fairly bleh model, and very restricted voiceover for a long time since I believe Visual-only updates aren't happening. Any ideas on what the plan is for champs like Veigar with gameplay that doesn't need overhauling, but does need visual overhauling??

: Quick Gameplay Thoughts: March 14
Love these gameplay thoughts, great to see the balance thought process. With that in mind, thoughts on Jayce? Many players, including some pros think the champion needs tuning down, any idea if nerfs are on the table?
: I genuinely feel bad for any nice people who main...
Am a {{champion:122}} main, can confirm. Everyone thinks I'm a braindead retarded asshole who likes punching puppies playing a no-skill champ. I get this all the time, probably because I make my enemies spend abnormal amounts of time in grey screen.

: My advice is play Nasus. Yes, I'm saying play Nasus mid lane. It will be a very boring lane for them, and without jungle assistance there is literally nothing they can do to you besides poke and run away. AP or Stack, it's the same result. Just make sure to manage your mana well, because if you give them an opening to go in and you don't have your ult you are going to be in some serious trouble. Also make sure you understand wave manipulation. But if you've got that down feel free to make sure they don't have any fun today.

I get more annoyed with the amount of Azirs. Unfortunately I blind Pick due to long as queue times. Azir I don't see anywhere near as much, and hes only a real problem in experienced hands, the other two are frustrating to play against even if they're bad or not even killing you.

: Tell me about your 'most wrong' assumptions you made before stuff got released
I thought Kindred was weak when I first played them. oh dear god I was wrong
: I don't know of a single high Elo top laner that doesn't complain about trundle
While I don't think Trundle is OP, I do agree he's very strong right now, and is a bitch in lane to fight. I suspect it's because unlike other champs, every single one of Trundle's abilities is very strong and impactful. Many champs have at least one or two skills that aren't massively strong, or are just throwaway skills for damage or a touch of CC, such as Darius' W, Ezreal's W etc. This means that the champ can be countered by playing around or avoiding their impactful spells allowing you to retaliate with your own. Yet all of Trundle's abilities are strong and can turn the tide of an engagement Q's AD steal is HUGE in 1v1s and can screw enemy ADCs over, it also procs Sheen and has a low cooldown, granting Trundle some serious damage. W is arguably the LEAST impactful of his abilities, even considering it has a AS, MS AND Regeneration buff, it's still useful for positioning in fights, gaining AS for duelling or increasing your ult's steal. E, when well placed, is one of the most devastating catch abilities in the game, creating terrain that forces opponents to take longer routes, while also being slowed for obnoxious amounts, if you are playing a champ with no dash against Pillar of Ice, you know how powerful it is. R is a free 1v1, the stealing is utterly insane, and because of the QSS nerfs, Trundle screws most opponents in the 1v1

: Xerath's lore changed how I feel when I play him
{{champion:45}} is my absolute perfect match lore-wise. The feeling of slowly gaining strength is intoxicating, and the domination that is the Q-R oneshot is satisfying as hell. {{champion:45}} and {{champion:29}} also get bonus points for maniacal laughter, it's so much fun blowing up people while laughing evily that sometimes I laugh with em XD
: MSI has shown us the diversity of jungle champions

: Share some pocket picks.
AP {{champion:113}} She already has tons of CC, so why not add on the best CC of them all? DEATH!
: I can't seem to win a single game! in need of advice!
I can't go into massive detail, so I'll just drop some tips that have paid me dividends. 1. Fuck the meta, play the champions you enjoy playing, and ban that champs counterpicks. I play {{champion:122}} myself, I pick him all the time, and I don't ban Ekko because I know I can dumpster him in lane. Instead I ban Trundle, because Trundle is a nightmare to play against as Darius. 2. Be a god at farming. If you can farm better than your opponents, you can reliably gain advantages in every game, regardless of matchup, if you can farm well. 3. Towers > Everything. Towers are what get your team pressure, global gold and get your team closer to the Nexus. Always look for ways to catch towers undefended and crush them, either by rotating with your team or cheeky splitpushing. 4. Understand the team comps. At the most general level , ask yourself this questions: Who has the stronger carries? If they do, your team has to dive the backline and focus the carries, if your team has the stronger carries, then peel for them and let them do their job. 5. Don't Support. I'm sorry, but supporting at low ELO is a game of chance where you have little agency over the outcome, unless you're some Diamond-level support who can carry dumb teammates, you won't be able to baby poor players enough. Play literally any other role and look to carry by any means.
: Who can NOT get demolished in lane vs. Darius?
Most ranged champs {{champion:39}} and {{champion:24}} Jax can outplay if they work around his Q and the pick I hate playing against as Darius the most. {{champion:48}}
Laraso (NA)
: Is anyone else concerned about the potential state of mages with the upcoming mage rework?
The tradeoff we are seeing is less damage for more utility. This been a good trade in so many cases, adding utility has shown to be extremely strong, even more so than just adding damage. For example {{champion:127}}'s ult gaining a self-heal {{champion:103}}'s Q giving her Movement speed (she lost dmg in the same patch as this and was broken after it anyway) I'm hyped as all hell for this update.

: Everyone's out here worrying about the new mages while me....
**I'm just wondering how often the new rageblade will be built on vayne after patch.** Possibly not that often, it's expensive and Vayne makes 0 use of the AP, whereas champs like Trist at least have some AP scaling. It might be a good last item in games where QSS or lifesteal are not needed. **Will water dragon's buff get nerfed(IMO time should be 20/15/10 seconds that's it for now). ** Atm seems not, prepare for regen city. **Will the red/blue timer reveal actually go through. ** Seems very likely, I'm not too worried though. It'll be like when Kindred came out and everyone was like "Kindred is gonna be invading so much" when in reality Kindred tends to abuse scuttle marks and doesn't tunnel on jungle marks much beyond that. **Will mordekaiser have each unique dragon's setup (like air dragon's AS/chasing) and if so will earth dragon ghost deal bonus damage to structures?** Unclear right now, but if it's like Champion ghosts I expect so. **Will anivia still have her E-activate R mid-E combo** Yes. R will just be a bit smaller (unless it starts at the current live size in its expansion, I'n not sure) **Will we actually see mage jungles actually be consistently viable** *cough*MALZAHAR*cough* **Will Veigar support! ** OH YEAH!!! I'm deffo playing me some Veigar support, he's gonna have some relevant AP with those buffs. **Will Singed build mana again! ** Absolutely, the passives on Tear and Catalyst are just too good to pass up on Singed. **How OP will jhin be since he can actually kill pinks without reloading XD ** Will need nerfing, 100% confirmed.

: That weak champion... That you fell in love with anyway...
{{champion:29}} and {{champion:45}}. Picked up these two as my favourite ADC and mid respectively when I started playing early last season when both were considered garbage (especially poor Veig). Really happy nowadays cos Twitch is actually pretty good right now and Veigar is getting some sick buffs next patch.
: Is jinx the worst adc in lane?
Meanwhile, Vayne gets poked out by ADCs with superior range (read: Most of them). Twitch loses to any opponents that can trade quickly and not let him stack passive, and Urgot is just...Urgot.

Wait... Number #5 says if u don't get mid, you'll feed Number #7 says if you are Nasus, you must got top Therefore... ALL NASUS PLAYERS ARE FEEDERS!

: Why does jhin randomly stop counting?
I think he's always counting in his head, so...maybe when he yells the number it was a...really "dramatic" shot? That needed the exclamation?
: Why does a Supertank with late game scaling fall off so hard?
How to have Sion's late game be awesome {{item:3748}} Enjoy infinitely stacking damage. I'm only partially joking, this makes you pretty scary, and with Sion's health stacking you get loads of value out of it. Plus the Armor Reduction on E works with Hydra's physical damage.
: To the mid laner, if you aren't going to roam...
I agree. HOWEVER! If it's like 8 minutes into game and I'm like level 5-6 and I'm playing {{champion:45}}, for example, don't expect me to take a tower off of one push. I'll call MIA, I'll push the minions, but don't blame me for not rotating after {{champion:238}} when u get caught.
: Do you remember all your pentakills? I don't!
I remember all my pentas 1 on Annie (yeh, it was pretty boring, AOE stun, AOE dmg, Penta) 1 on Ahri (in a game where my team was feeding too!) 1 on Galio (1st time Galio as well!) 3 on Darius (in my defence! One of them was a beautifully outplayed 1v5, where I dodged all the skillshots.) 1 on Vayne (Got the last kill just before the Nexus exploded) 2 on Kassadin (in the same ARAM game. Enemy Viktor got a penta aswell XD)
: Let's say you have the ability to delete 5 champions of your choice....
{{champion:157}} - Because he counters my favourite mages so hard I can't do f all. Even when I'm doing way better than him it takes 20 years to kill him cos he keeps dashing everywhere. {{champion:39}} - Potentially unlimited gapclosers, bullshit stun, Free Life steal and True Dmg, Ranged harass AND heal AND Free Tenacity. Seems legit. ALso fk your Sheen powerspike {{champion:91}} - Because I want to see Summoner's Rift in a colour OTHER than grey. {{champion:64}} - He is in every game. Every. Game. I'd remove just for the sake of some jungle variety! {{champion:11}} - 0/9, still kills the tanks in 4 autos

: Does Poppy Really Need Nerfs?
Poppy does too much too well. So she's getting some nerfs to reign in her effective range and some straight power shaved off the Q. She's still gonna be a good pick.

: I really didn't get "Fatherly Spirit" from Aurelion. He's an immortal.... _thing_, that for the most part, just cares about stars. He didn't seem to care about the common struggles of mortals, or even the struggles of other immortals. He only stooped to meet the Targonians because they were one of THE most advanced forms of life in the entire universe, and even those guys bored him eventually. He doesn't care about the frozen watchers, or the sudden plague of undeath in the shadow isles, or even preventing normal death. Like he probably could just kill Kindred, but nah. In fact I didn't really get the feeling that he felt sad about killing other celestial beings, being that he'd rather kill them than watch more stars die. Honestly if the Targonians didn't do what they did, I imagine one of two things would happen: Void rifts quietly open on Runeterra and across the universe. Horrors spill out, billions die underneath a tidal wave of insatiable death bugs. OR Sol notices several planets infested with void abominations. Aurelion _replaces_ those planets with stars. He likes stars better anyway.

He likes stars better anyway. I think he doesn't care about Runeterra, after the bad things that have happened to him there. He also lightly mentions in his VO a few times that other planets are significantly more advanced compared to Runeterra, hence why he tends to speak of Runeterra as unimpressive. But Sol likely still cares about other planets, especially the more...interesting ones. Also, Twin Dawns says t me that Aurelion Sol would notice the Void invading the universe no matter what, and he wouldn't be happy if the Void invaded, not happy at all.

Tbf, Aurelion Sol, lore wise, is hyper OP, at god-like levels of power, so dying to him doesn't really mean you ain't a strong being in Runeteraa, it just means you aren't an actual GOD.

: Riot, It's been a long time since Kalista's release and you are still nerfing her.
Kalista can kite exceptionally And is a strong laner Whose good in teamfights because of Rend stacking Also has good waveclear And objective control to prevent steals She also makes her support able to be hyper aggressive Malphite ult on an ADC And some free vision
: If anyone wants to see a max range Sol star and e
That's...actually huge. Imagine both teams are grouping mid, Sol could just fly up mid, and basically get a free Amumu ult that's the size of the lane.
: PSA: The jungler is not immune to blame
Good point, although I guess it's different views. When you see a lane on your team that's winning, you see a lane you don't need to pressure anymore When I see a lane on my team that's winning, I see free gold and some snowballing.

I dunno, I'm doing just fine right now. Are these champions OP den? {{champion:122}} {{champion:29}} {{champion:202}} {{champion:45}} {{champion:161}}
: PSA: The jungler is not immune to blame
What frustrates me is my bad luck with junglers. Not that they're bad, but they never pay attention to my lane. I could freeze for 10 minutes and force the enemy to over extend and they don't gank it. I could be 3/0 and we could ez dive and no one comes. I had a game as Shen yesterday where I never SAW my jungler except for teamfights where I ulted in.
: Do you use your pinky finger on your q key?
I have a sort of gaming keyboard, which has a circular side panel with all the common gaming keys on it, so I have pinky on Q, and my thumb on that side panel's spacebar (which I have bound to my 1st item slot for item actives)
: Mordekaiser's inherent problems, a.k.a. what makes Morde doomed to mediocrity
I think Children of the Grave and Iron Man could be salvaged without a whole lot of fuss, after all, many other champions are supported with "low-counterplay" or "unhealthy" moves or kits (See: Vi and her ult) It's all about the lack of utility and fallback patterns. Darius is the champion I like to present as THE Juggernaut definition. He gets destroyed by kite, can do stupid damage in his effective range, and has fallback patterns in the form of Noxian Might and Decimate healing. Those two things are factors regardless of Darius being fed or behind. Morde needs something that is CONSISTENTLY useful in his kit, that isn't dependent on his damage or tankiness, to help him out. Lack of utility is somewhat solved by Ryali's on Morde; it's as good a CC load as the other Juggernauts.
