I agree that hitting the first shot from range is situational but there's wards, minions, traps and teammates to provide vision.

If I remember correctly he had 5 kills and I had around 3 at that point so yea he had items but not super fed. I'm not saying I should be able to duel a fed Jihn but getting 4-shotted from 3000 range is kind of frustrating

It's around 16 base IP + (1.4 x game mins) for a loss, 20 + (2.3 x game mins) for a win.

It's unfortunate for the other team but I started match to play, not to get cheated out of a possible good game and XP + IP and possibly LP too. It's like playing a soccer/football/basketball/whatever match, you get all excited to play the other team, you put your shoes on, put on your jersey and go on the field. Then you play 4vs5 because one player from the other team didn't set his alarm clock that day. After 5 mins referee cancels the entire match, no win for my team, no loss for the other team, no reward at all. I'm not saying the team should get 150 IP + XP and a free 20 lp but at least a minor amount of IP/XP would be nice.

: What I see as a solution to the support role's problems right now:
I don't know how you're playing the support role but they don't need levels to land a hook or stun. Rank 1 skill is enough to win teamfights. Also supports can carry games if they land a clutch hook/stun/spell/initiation or deny vision to set up a nice brush gank etc.

So you're basically saying that shaco's boxes shouldn't have any counterplay? That players should just suck it up and let themselves be AOE cc'd and damaged? It's not like the entire team gets get trinket anyway... usually support and jungle upgrade it

I play a lot of support lately just so I can find matches fast and because it's the most challenging role. But you gotta be confident in your gameplay and don't let the trolls get to you. Here's some advice: * never swap champions unless you're premade * ignore the 'play XX champion' comments - play whatever champion you're good at. Fine if they locked {{champion:17}} top and {{champion:238}} mid and {{champion:76}} jungle but I'm still taking {{champion:143}} support * your teammates are like women, if they whine ignore it, if you start an argument you'll lose and they will throw tantrums * accept that you are the true carry of your team - you are the undercover spy that prevented a nuclear strike while your teammate 'cops' gave someone a parking ticket * take CS when adc is not in lane, ignore their complaints about the single minion wave you 'stole' just so you can buy a sightstone and a pink on next back

Player cries about being banned despite 'not being toxic' and 'never shared account info' and 'never used any 3rd party programs'. They usually end up with a Rioter pointing out the exact reason why they're banned and it's 99% of the time justified. To the 1% that were truly unjustly banned you have my sympathies.

I'm a software architect actually. I can see why programs like Overwolf replay HUD would flag their system. It captures data from the LOL client and also records mouse and keyboard commands. This could be interpreted as scripting. If I was designing such an anti cheat system these are indicators of cheating. Silly high schoolers have no clue what they're talking about.

: The replays are not against the ToS. A possible theory is that an AMD driver with an optimization program flagged the system, causing this.

My thoughts about Zyra{{champion:143}} **1. What aspect is most core or sacred to their identity? ** I think the plants are what defines Zyra but currently feel lackluster **2. What issue bothers you the most when playing them?** There are a couple of issues both when playing Zyra mid and Zyra support. 1. The plant AI is still wonky, e.g. when I Q+W a champion and the Q connects on the champ the spawned plant should immediately attack the champion. Often it only fires 1 shot at the champion and then retargets. Perhaps W could be reworked slightly to give a warning circle on the ground that when a plant is spawned, it will target and attack champions nearby. Maybe allow Zyra to 'target' a champion by right clicking it even when out of AA range (within reasonable range of course, perhaps 1000). 2. Sometimes a champion is inside the plant targeting circle but the plants do not acquire targets fast enough to actually fire. If the enemy champion quickly moves out of the circle the plant doesn't do anything. 3. Plant AI should always target champions in range that are aggroing nearby friendly champions 4. Plants die too fast to aoe like Sunfire/Cinderhulk. They also die too fast to inhibitor/nexus turrets because the laser is a very fast dot. Maybe scale their HP with Zyra's level or W ranks. 5. Her root animation is too clunky to use at rank 1, because the root is only 0.75 sec and the cast time feels longer than that. Therefore E at rank 1 is pretty much useless. Perhaps scale the root duration differently or make it like Lux that the first target hit is rooted longer. Or lower the cast time. 6. The passive is hard to hit because of the large delay. Maybe lower the delay scaling with champion level or ult level. TL;DR plant AI tweaks, slight tweaks to skills, no massive rework needed

Imagine if the adc guy posted this thread instead of you: "So I queued up for a normal match to improve my game, I'm a bit rusty to go into ranked so I'm gonna play a normal game where I don't lose LP" "Ok I don't know what this guy is doing, I'll try to ping him so he knows what's up" "Ok this guy is not even trying to win, what's he doing??" "Ok I'm getting annoyed now, he doesn't want to win he's basically just wasting my time" "Ok now he tells me I should chill out and stop tryharding because 'it's a normal game' - whatever dude /clicks Play again"

Here's the actual logic for those curious: 1) Units that have taunted the plant (e.g., Shen), whatever their range.. they will just stare at an out of range unit while taunted 2) Champs Zyra has auto-attacked in the last 3 seconds (prioritizing most recently attacked) 3) Champs that have recently been attacked by any plant (prioritizing nearest) 4) Champs within 350 units of the plant -- for reference, 350 is the size of Lee Sin's E1 or Evelynn's R (prioritizing closest) 5) Non-champs Zyra has AA'd (prioritizing most recently attacked) 6) Any unit in range (prioritizing closest) The changes in 5.18 are that: 2 and 5 now use "most recent" over "closest", allowing Zyra to better re-direct plants to higher priority targets; Plants will no longer get hung up on invisible targets, such as champions in fog of war; Plants will no longer sometimes mis-believe that they attacked on spawn (which caused a long delay before their first real attack); Plants will quickly move to face the target they are going to attack next, so you can get a better sense for how your actions shape their priorities.

Are there any changes planned for the root duration of her E? Because the cast animation is so long that at rank 1 Zyra can't actually close the gap because it feels like she stands still for roughly the same duration as the root. It's 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 now perhaps it can be changed to 1 / 1.25 / 1.75 at rank 1, 3 and 5?

there are a couple of things you can do as {{champion:61}} vs {{champion:131}} First, level your shield at level 1 and auto attack her as much as possible. Shield any Q she throws at you. Smart diana's will start {{item:2041}} anyway so you can come out ahead in trades if you have {{item:1056}}. Never shove the wave pre-6 as that will give her free farm without jungle pressure. Never use your mana except for shielding her harass or she will outsustain you. Harassing her with autos should keep her low enough to scare her so she can't really go all in at level 6. After you both recall never initiate trading but keep the ball on you and shield her QR combo if she goes in. Then you can W yourself and possibly R yourself if she goes all in. Auto her on her retreat. Having barrier or heal also helps. Just don't give her early kills and she will have a hard time during teamfights where your utility and damage will shine

But again the animation is there so if you miss the animation then it's your fault. Regardless, the sound definitely needs to be fixed on DJ Sona. I can see if there are two different fights going on or something close by to eachother and you are focusing on your fight vs the one Sona is in.

Riven's problem is that she will outtrade melees by stunlocking them and then get out before you have a window of opportunity to punish her / outplay her. The passive added to W basically means if she hits 1 champion in lane the Q cooldown is already 13.6 / 12.75 / 11.9 / 11.05 / 10.2 seconds which means the cooldown is actually lower than her current Q on rank 2. Then you gave her _more_ mobility with Q and E. Your proposed kit does nothing to address her current state and basically made her even more powerful against ranged champions by adding a yasuo windwall to her ult.

We hard cc'd her every teamfight (taunt + stun) but we could not kill her due to her support with shields and with her teammates of course. After that the tanks basically just died and then she killed our backline. We're talking solo queue here not LCS level of play where they have proper teamwork etc. Then again perhaps the problem lies with {{champion:67}} not per se {{item:3931}}

My point is nobody could tank that sated Vayne, nobody could assassinate her due to smite + condemn + tumble + invisibility + support. The game was just forfeit by then (around 20 min mark). At least without devourer she actually has to auto attack 3 times to proc that true damage. Not to mention it procs {{item:3153}} twice also.

: yea i been playing alot of sated devourer jungle vayne. and if you get sated before 20 mins the enemy mindswell FF lol

Only nerf Azir needs is that his ult wall only knock backs one dash per champion instead of every one. That way champions like {{champion:84}} {{champion:131}} {{champion:121}} {{champion:7}} {{champion:107}} can perhaps try and reach him
