: Why do you say "It's only ARAM?"
Some people in ARAM feel legitimised to play like sleepy monkeys, because it's not competitive. Probably those same people either don't play competitive at all, or play very bad there as well. Not everyone can realise that you're still playing with other 4 people, and by being a dumbass, you're ruining their experience.
: Kayle's win rate for 35 min games is 60%
They failed to realize their idea for Kayle. They wanted to make a support that by late game becomes a sort of adc. Instead they made a melee adc that eventually becomes a ranged adc. What is even the point of that?

: Bethesda has fallen, and now Blizzard also has fallen
I hope nothing like that happens to LoL but frankly, over the years there many signals that HotS wasn't going as far as other MOBAs, despite Blizzard efforts. The playerbase, though passionate, was very limited, at least compared to lol and dota, and no company, not even Blizzard, can keep sinking money just to support random people playing and streaming. Again, I'm not happy that hots never became a thing, and that blizzard's response came without a proper warning, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. What is irredemable is the Diablo fiasco, it's not just about spitting in the face of fans of all three games, it just looks like and insanely bad marketing decision, at least in the west. If in the china, diablo immortal really becomes popular, then I guess it'll be fine for ~~blizzard~~ Activision, still, in the west I can't see it having any kind of success, which will inevitably have consequences on the other franchises: wow, starcraft (which looks almost dead as well btw), overwatch, and the others.

Not too sure about {{champion:36}} since he just recieved new VFX for his spells. He stil is a stat check champion, so some degree of work is to be expected. {{champion:9}} is definitely high on Rito's "to do" list, though I hope they get to {{champion:54}} and {{champion:31}} first. Their Models are even more outdated, and their kits need to be reworked from the ground up. That said, if they managed to nail down a fiddle rework already, then he's coming next year for sure. Also {{champion:106}} , his model isn't that bad, but none plays him and for good reason.

They were made to fit the stereotype of viking tribes who are impervious to cold weather, and treat freezing temperatures like they are warm breezes; also they simpler people in regards to the rest of runeterra, thus the simpler outfits. Still, they all should be updated, with armor and fur, like Sejuani was. At least Ashe, Trynda and Olaf, while Gragas can be an exception since he reguarly drinks magical grog (ale?). What she could have is a bulkier physique: more muscles, less boobs. Other than that though, I don't find her to be that much of an offender, in regards to appearances and lore The problem with ashe is that her outfit isn't equivalent to any of the men and it even lags behind sejuani who atleast has a little bit of muscle definition give sej a look like[ this ](https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--2QUjSoh8--/c_scale,f_auto,fl_progressive,q_80,w_800/kirqvlp7wrgsesdcqhqy.png) give ashe a similar look but maybe a tiny bit less buff having fewer clothes on is fine, the "they are so tough the cold doesn't bother them" trope is fine, its NOT fine to use it to justify putting all the women in miniskirts and bras, giving them zero muscles definition, basically making them supermodels, if they are "so tough the cold doesn't bother them" this should be reflected in thier art, I actually love tryndameres art and I would be very happy if they gave Ashe and sej something similar but suited to thier choice of combat.
Yes, I was talking only about the clothes. Ashe is an archer, and though skilled archers tend have strong arms, I would not like to see her as buff as Sejuani. I actually think her current body is fine, at most she could look more "battle scarred", just to reflect that in her life she had to fight as much as Sej, more or less. To be clear, I like the trope of "barbarians that can live in the frozen north", but doesn't mean they should run around half naked or wearing skirts. At least not now that the Freljord is being more fleshed out, and the new stories actually depict the Freljordians covering themselves a lot with furs, in order to survive the climate. So while the trope itself is fine, at this point it's more important to put those champions in line with the new lore. Also I'd like her to have some light armor because, that way, she would complete, visually, the trinity of warrior-mage-rogue. Sejuani - warrior Lissandra - mage Ashe - rogue/ranger In a throwback to oldschool fantasy settings (cough*diablo*cough)

: It's really not... The issue talked about here is in-combat selfhealing.
Exactly, out of combat healing isn't really an issue.
: Leona, Theoretically...can she....?
I suppose, but wouldn't that make her very item-dependent? That is, you either win hard and get all those items, or lose hard and have no chance to comeback. I mean, Leona top means that by the end game you either have one tanky bruiser and a support in your team (and you're already winning pretty hard), or 2 supports. In either case it's up to the rest of the team to fill in the gaps. With this I mean, you probably need a specific team combo to make it work, and even then you need to win the lane, or have a jungler with high damage who will babysit you. These are just my 2 cents though, you should try and see for yourself.
Rioter Comments
: Why do tanks not work anymore? Overkill damage.
Currently we're having instances of both cases - Tanks that get quickly dispatched by teams that have too much damage. - Teams that can't get past a single, unkillable tank Rito is still having a hard time balancing tank itemisation to the point where any tank can have decent survivability, without having some of them be an impassable wall. My 2 cents point the issue toward health regeneration and healing. The tanks who have no innate healing tend to get easily killed, because resistances at some point just lose effectiveness. Meanwhile, tanks who have high innate healing effects get to survive indefinitely, even through GW and %health damage. This is also skewed in favor of AD composition, who deal better with tanks. A tank will inevitably struggle against a mixed composition, will have a hard time against a full AD comp (unless they itemise properly, but it's a fair loss, as they didn't itemise properly), but will have very few problems against a full AP composition, especially if he has a lot of healing. This is why the best anti-AP tank right now is mundo, followed by maokai, while Galio (the supposedly go-to anti-mage tank) is relegated to a weird mage/bruiser hybrid. Take a full MR mundo vs a full AP comp.
: Surrenders should be a fucking majority vote.
Sucks that so many sheep are downvoting you, but I'll give you an advice. No one really holds you hostage. If 2 people are dumb enough to keep ruining a game and refuse a surrender, then they'll be fine with playing alone. Just dc, alt+F4, you won't have to wait long before the game ends anyway. And trust me, a 20 minute wait for a new game (low priority) is better by far than having to sit trhough a dreadful game any longer than necessary. But it in the end it's LoL. Don't expect many people with a mind of their own, or with a sliver of empathy. You're liking the match? keep playing. You're not liking it enough to keep playing? Don't. It's not like you're going to jail. The rules as they are, are there to keep PC and "sensible players" from crying all the time. And tbf, a company must have them, no matter how frustrating they are. I'll probably take many downvotes as well, but read my comment and try my advice. If, at the end of the day, you're still very unsatisfied, just try another game for as much as you need. That helps too.

: Rek'Sai Passive
The idea though is that rek'sai would want burrow and unborrow many times during a fight, thus using the passive more often than evelynn would. And rek'sai's passive heals faster than evelynn. So yeah, the heal is low, but it's supposed to be used often, during a fight too, while evelynn's only works out of combat. Still, her winrate is low-ish right now, and buff to her healing might help. Although I'm afraid that right now her kit, as fun as it is, is just outclassed by other champions.

: My hopes for 2019 ! Future reworks .
Mordekaiser is very very high priority, and Rito said that he has high chances of getting a VGU next year. Of course, nothing is set is stone, but let's cross fingers for autumn 2019. Also, they've recently updated some spell's visuals, and they're gonna update some walking and running animation across a number of outdated champions that aren't getting a VGU anytime soon. AND MORDE WASN'T ONE OF THEM. Mundo I don't know, he does need a VGU, but they recently updated his spells' visuals. Of course that isn't enough, but I don't think Rito would've done that if they were already making a VGU for him. So I'm afraid we are not going to see a Mundo VGU in 2019. But who knows...

: The reason Dark Harvest is actually too busted. And it's not the damage.
I think there's a common problem between electrocute and dark harvest. It's two runes for burst damage builds. Of course, people choose whatever is stronger at the moment, since the have basically the same purpose. Dark harvest right now it's just an electrocute that doesn't require 3 hits and starts weaker, but it doesn't need much to get on the same level, and actually surpass it. First of all, they have to decide what kind of playstyle each rune fits, beyond simply "early game focused" and "late game focused". Electrocute is a single target burst. Also, if your champ has one or more AoE spells, you risk hitting champions other than you primary target, and if that happens during a teamfight, the rune is wasted, especially if it procs on a tank. Thus you should want it on a champion who mostly deals in single target attacks. Dark harvest right now works just the same, but if you accidentally proc it on the wrong the target, you still get a stack, and if said target dies, then after 1.5 seconds you can use it again. It's just electrocute with better tradeoffs. Instead, change the champions it should appeal to. Have it work better on burst mages, who do AoE burst instead of single target bursts. The scaling would also help them more, since they're usually more in need of scaling into late game than assassins. Change the way damage is dealt, from single target to AoE, that gets stronger the more targets are hit. It would reward burst mages like Viktor, Lissandra, Lux, Annie, as long as they try to hit as many enemies as possible, intead just flash-ulting the adc. You could mix damage and defense reduction, to reward "slower bursts", again, more typical of burst mages, and to be more effective on the whole enemy team, but less abusable on squishy targets.
: A little discussion on Mordekaiser's colour scheme
There are never enough Mordekaiser threads! Personally I wouldn't like red too much. The bright red that is associated with Noxus is out of place on Morde, as it represents the empire that was born after Morde's defeat, and even more so after Swain's rise to power. If anything, that colour is a sign of defiance against past and future tyrants like Mordekaiser was. Teal would be a decent choice, as Mordekaiser is, and I hope will remain, and undead revenant/lich. Though I'd like him to be less bound to the mists than, say, hecarim, thresh, kalista, and more his own kind of indipendent undead, with more down to earth goals than, like, torturing souls, or revenge. Black, of these three colours, would probably fit him best in my opinion. It's the typical color of the typical dark lord, although there's the risk of making him just another cliché. Lastly, since you didn't talk about it, I'll add: what about brown? Per se, it's not as strong a colour as the others, but it would highlight him being an ancient ruler of a sort-of barbarian kingdom. I'd like Morde's look to reflect more those past times in runeterra, in cotrast to valoran's modern times, and modern choices of colour. I think Morde's choices of esthetic should be somewhat simple, with colours that date to an older era, and would better reflect his concept of an ancient terror. Mordekaiser's VGU should reflect the idea of and old tyrant taking action in the present. It would work better for him than other ancient "champions". Take shurima, it went from a golden empire to a nation of beggars, so champions from it's earlier days are supposed to talk about it as an age of greatness and wealth. The freljord on the other hand, doesn't seem to have changed much since the frostborn were driven off, at least in terms of culture and aesthetics. Noxus is neither of those, it actually expanded, and became one of the greatest empires in present valoran. There has been an evolution in all aspects; and so Mordekaiser aspect should somewhat reflect a time were things were conceptually simpler in the lands now known as the Noxian Empire. WIth all that said, I'd ask if you can make another picture, but with brown as his main colour, out of curiosity. In my head it fits him rather well, if go past pure aesthetic and think about the character as a whole. That said, his whole aspect will need other colours put in together to form a cohesive design, but that applies of every champion.

: Make turrets do HP% true damage
Tanks should still have the option of taking a couple turret shots during a tower dive. True damage makes sense, even HP% up to a point. Like have it's first few attacks deal flat true damage (like 3 or 4), then switch to HP% true damage. That way, there is still sense to a tank being the of the team to dive, but he won't be able to tank everything like now.
: New dark harvest 2.0
It does force the one using it to commit more though. It's not just "farm big minions/big monsters" until you can instakill champs. You have to fight other champions in order to stack it. That said, maybe 50% health is too high a treshold. What if they make it 30%, so that it's fairly hard to stack early, but still gives a strong execute later on?
: What are the chances Mordekaiser's gonna have a German accent/manner of speech in his VGU?
Then we discover that Morde became a ruthless overlord because he was rejected at the art academy... Jokes aside, I'm a bit skeptical about this. If Rito can give him an accent that only midly sounds germanic, then yes, I believe it would fit him. But nothing too sharp. Not as heavy as Fiora's french accent, for instance.
