: Zed: We've pulled the ult nerf from patch 6.11 after a lot of debate on the team as to how hard the Q changes will or won't hit Zed. Still sitting on it as an option for a later patch, we want to assess what impact those other changes have first though. Azir: One of the issues we're looking to address with the reduced duration on Azir's ult is how hard it shuts down melee, fighters in particular who can't just disengage from the fight for a while. 5/6/7 seconds is a really long time to wait in a team fight for it to go down, meaning Azir's presence makes it really hard to play many melee champions usefully unless they've got really high slipperiness (leave fight then return), a way to cross his wall (blink or flanking ability) or really long fight times (tanky, or great with a tanky build). The other issue is just the raw power of the ability, as both a strong AOE knockback and a persistent wall. The knockback generates a lot of interesting plays/counterplays. We concluded as a result that, given we felt we needed to take power out of the ability, it was better to hit the persistent wall, which tied in well with the above concerns on effect on melee champs. In terms of overall power both Zed and Azir are too strong. Azir's particularly out of line when played by a really experienced Azir player (experienced players should perform much better, there's still a limit though). I suspect we'll have to hit both of them again at some point in the next few patches, that's a personal guess though rather than currently planned work. Wwe'll see how these changes go first.

This stems from the fight-changing quality of her ult and W, and the cooldowns that come with them. If you mess up your E-W combo, it's over. If you ult the wrong place, It's over. But I feel like with practice, she can actually be strong. ** A gold player using such an unforgiving and mechanically intensive champion will not have a 70% win rate with her. Hence, one of two things are true: 1. She's not as unforgiving and mechanically intensive as you imply. 2. Her numbers are broken, allowing mistakes. It's certainly not option 2.

If the MS nerf must be done (God forbid a ranged champion can't indefinitely kite a melee champion, let's nerf MS) then slow resistance has to be increased from 25%.

: just that they recived the slow resist in the very patch that changed them to only be 15ms faster than tier 2 boots. Befor that they only gave increased ms and nothing else. the v5.22 was the first time ever there those boots had both, 20ms more than other options as well as the slow resist, and on top of that thy became cheaper than ever. at 5.22, they recived a clear buff that left them in the strongest spot they have ever seen, which lead to them becomeing the most used boots overall till they lost 5ms and had their costs increased by 100. Right now, they are in a fine spot, and the pbe nerfs will more or less remove them form the game as it will leave them in a worse spot than prior to 5.22, and they were hardly used befor 5.22 already(though they certainly were better than people gave them credit for at that time)

He's not seen often, so less-able players aren't going to know how to deal with all of his abilities. Plus, less-able players are less likely to take QSS/Cleanse to counteract him. Higher up the ladder, however, he's far too easily made irrelevant, regardless of build path, because of his ultimate. Then it's a good thing that most of the playerbase is lower elo players. Not everything needs to be geared toward the high end. Most that do become FotM, often times changing a huge part of a champion's kit in the process. Galio is one of my mains. I love him. And if you think he's not counterpicked, or properly itemized against at lower elos, you'd be very wrong. It's called playing smart and baiting out skills. Whether on your own or with the help of your team. My big issue here is you equating him to an ult machine. I've done more for myself on proper combos than with his ult. Yes it's powerful and fantastic in team fights, but he brings so much more to the table than that. It's just one tool in his arsenal.

And if you think he's not counterpicked, or properly itemized against at lower elos, you'd be very wrong. It's called playing smart and baiting out skills. Yes it's powerful and fantastic in team fights, but he brings so much more to the table than that. It's just one tool in his arsenal. Most of Galio's non-existent playerbase is made up high elo players. So no, it's not a good thing. He isn't counter picked or itemized against at low elos. I've been bronze and I've climbed to diamond II twice, I'm currently on my third run. You're giving low elo too much credit. It's more than likely that you find your Galio is being countered because you have a lack of understanding of the game and you're not mechanically sufficient for such a champion, even against other fellow low-elo players. (I don't mean this in an offensive way, but factual, so please don't take that personally.) He is an ult machine. The entire reason Galio is not picked is because his ult is redundant at high elo. Just like the entire reason Maokai wasn't picked was because he didn't get MR/Level. He's a less mobile Lissandra with more utility. It only makes sense that, to compensate for his lower mobility, he offers more in other areas. i.e. an ult that isn't antiquated, adjusted to a Season 3 meta.

: Galio is one of the last few underappreciated champions left. Most don't understand his potential, or how to play with him on their team. I'm nervous about any buffs or changes on him, because Riot only seems to know how to break or make something broken. (OP) They rarely seem to find that middle ground. Galio has a small but faithful playerbase. His winrate is pretty good when you consider that fact. He already is strong, useful, and game changing under the right conditions. Most just don't get that about the golem. I honesty would rather he stay ignored than turned FotM and ruined like so many before him.

But after playing him recently i think he can be very useful. if you play against an AP mid hes very useful due to his passive. His ult is great for flashing into a teamfight and ulting. Professional and high elo players will tell you that Galio is absolutely not useful anymore. His ultimate is so essential to his kit, yet it is far to easily negated by QSS/Cleanse/Any one of the numerous hard CCs available in today's game. This is why his play rate is so low. Perhaps at lower elos, you guys are finding him strong. I wouldn't disagree. He's not seen often, so less-able players aren't going to know how to deal with all of his abilities. Plus, less-able players are less likely to take QSS/Cleanse to counteract him. Higher up the ladder, however, he's far too easily made irrelevant, regardless of build path, because of his ultimate.

: You could probably reference the [Riot Pls](http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/riot-games/announcements/riot-pls-dynamic-queue-sandbox-and-league-2016) that was recently done to show what you are saying is no longer valid and that they explained themselves there. Wether that explanation will update your thread to something different you don't like about this topic, then thats cool i guess. But it could show you what they've been trying to do the entire time

Wether that explanation will update your thread to something different you don't like about this topic, then thats cool i guess. But it could show you what they've been trying to do the entire time It doesn't answer anything. All that post contains is a **VERY** carefully-worded paragraph, consisting entirely of waffle, explaining that they don't like long wait timers for games. The Riot employees state that most people are queuing faster than before, yet the comment section is flooded with "I'm queuing slower than before." They talk about League being a team game and there's a very simple fix to that: voice chat. If you truly want Dynamic Queue to work, you **need** voice chat. Many people (myself included) are fed up of joining up with a four man premade, or two premade pairs, and essentially playing different games. But, like I was saying, all that post has done is explain (in a very careful way so they don't shoot themselves in the foot for the sixth time) that they want queue timers decreased. That means Solo Queue won't return, because there isn't a world where Solo Queue can return and Dynamic Queue sees faster queue times.

: Well, a thread like this should stay on the front page for at least two days, maybe even three. Not only that, but the sheer number of popular posts on this topic should tell anyone that comes on here what is going on. So it's really not that necessary to repost every day, or even at all.

Which is why I said **I repost this thread when it has expired, I do not report it daily.** Jesus Christ, read my posts.
: Economics. Ok, your thread whining about the lack of Solo Queue has currently 142 upvotes at the time of me writing this. How does that compare to the roughly 20 million active daily players worldwide? Go ahead...I'll wait.

Ok, your thread whining about the lack of Solo Queue has currently 142 upvotes at the time of me writing this. How does that compare to the roughly 20 million active daily players worldwide? Go ahead...I'll wait. Companies work off a system. Depending on the size of the company, for every person that sends an email to complain, they equate that to ~1000 other people who feel exactly the same way but can't be bothered to write in. For every phone call, it's even more. For every letter, a company can equate that to up to ten thousand complaints. The fact that this has 142 upvotes speaks volumes. Does it mean 142*10000 people agree? No. But it means more than 142 people agree. A significant amount more. Now, your negativity, whilst bumping the thread, is not required here! Don't like what the thread is about? Don't like me? Don't post. Simple!

: Yes, and Rito is owned by a posse of reptilian aliens that are all members of the illuminati in Area 51. Undoubtedly. I know you're butt hurt. But it may come back. It may not come back. You want proof that things take time? Look at Taric, and and wait your damned turn. Riot has quite a few things to do. Do you think that solo queue is more important than balancing the game (of course, my theory is that no game is ever able to be balanced)? It will take time. Are we being lied to? Maybe. But those things happen, and are a matter of reality. Our parents, politicians and other important figures lie to us all the time. Is it right to do so? Of course not; Franklin D Roosevelt spoke to his citizens on a regular basis and was the only president to serve 4 terms. And Riot is talking to us. If the lack of a solo queue is that much of a burden, the door is at the top right of your browser window (or top left if you're using a (*shudder*) Mac... In which case it would be in the top left). League is a free game. (Unless you pay for skins, but those aren't necessary to play, so, again, free game.) If there's something you don't like, voice your concern. As I see, you have done this. You go on to say that it will never return, meaning you have given up. If so, that's perfectly fine- equally fine as if you were to continue to voice your opinion. And take up space on the boards. You have your right to express yourself. As do I. If you don't like the game as is due to the lack of solo queue, and truly believe that it will never return... then what are you doing here? Don't be in a relationship you don't want to be in.

: > (For now, Solo queue development/launch is on hold and we have not received any update in that matter.) Hope you can learn to like Dynamic Queue because it's all you're going to get. But don't worry. URF is coming! Play URF. Enjoy URF. Do not pay attention to Solo Queue being scrapped completely. Do not pay attention to the man behind the curtain. Riot is going full Blizzard and Jagex here, doing what they want. The failure for Solo Queue to return will end up killing this game in the long term. : Oh here we go. You know exactly what Riot are thinking, you know for a fact that they are definitely not trying to make it work for their new system, you know they are simply not telling us to avoid a backlash.
