Buddy, you have never heard of hash banks that are full of cracked hashes of almost any type. The database grows as users successfully crack hash or salted hash. User could of been victim of Social Engineering, Virus, Keylogger, logging into open wire-less computer cafe' stores. I mean I can name thousands of ways I can get your password. I just wouldn't say something could be 100% his fault, he may of been a victim of his other account being sold (i.e Yahoo 400 million accounts information downloaded) He may not of been notified and the person who comprised his account saw it in that fashion as well. If I had your e-mail address more than likely you signed up for a site that has been hacked, more then likely I can pay my 10 dollars a month subscription to these databases and fu-k your life up. It seriously isn't that hard to realize account computerization is no longer a user error issue. This is an issue that is beyond the scope of fault.
> Social Engineering, Virus, Keylogger, logging into open wire-less computer cafe' stores Arguable whether this is your responsibility or not. E.g. you would never login into your online bank account on a public wifi without using a VPN under your control. And social engineering can also be avoided. > if I had your e-mail address more than likely you signed up for a site that has been hacked, more than likely I can pay my 10 dollars a month subscription to these databases and fu-k your life up. How so? Okay assuming you get my email and a hashed+salted password. Let's even assume you somehow got the clear text password out of it (which is really hard). Now you have the account data for a site. Great, but my LoL password is different from every other password. You can also change your password every x month. And cracking an SHA512 hashed password for every entry in these databases you mentioned is really really time and computing power consuming (and you rely on people using the same password everywhere). You might be right that there are rare circumstances where it isn't your fault, but in most cases it is. I assume that a very high percentage of these cases are simple free RP phishing sites.

If someone was hacked and it showed in IP logs to back their story then it isn't 100% his fault. If you are robbed at gun point it is't 100% your fault. Horrible way to answer this question imo. Just mention ticket and leave it at that, suggest better passwords. But don't act like every password is secured these are ratings and anything is crackable.
Sadly I am mainly on EUW, so I do not really see new post here (that's why the reply is really late), but anyways: Based on the Terms of Use you are responsible for any action on your account. Second: > don't act like every password is secured these are ratings and anything is crackable. Where did I say that they aren't crackable? : Account hacked, using my RP to gift himself skins
As we can't assist you with these sort of issues on the Boards, we suggest you [submit a ticket](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/requests/new) to Player Support. They'll be able to look into the issue and give you further assistance. However be aware that you are 100% responsible for things happening on your account. To prevent this: make sure you logout every single time, do not choose a weak password. Scan your computer for things like keyloggers. More information regarding account security can be found [here](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751664-Protecting-Your-Account).
: The Tribunal
Hey, it's not your fault. Here you can read the big news: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/player-behavior/upgrading-tribunal So they rework it at the moment and you cannot participate while they are doing so.

: Public Chat Rooms?
They got removed some time ago, yes. (mostly due to spamming and scam links). However, you can still find some people in Chatrooms, like "5v5".
: Cant change my password because I have to create a summoner?
Well, sounds like we cannot help at this point on the forum. I would recommend sending a ticket here: https://support.leagueoflegends.com/anonymous_requests/new

Hey, please try to use the following installer: [l3cdn.riotgames.com/Installer/SingleFileInstall/LeagueOfLegendsBaseNA.exe](http://l3cdn.riotgames.com/Installer/SingleFileInstall/LeagueOfLegendsBaseNA.exe)
: Accidentally deleted game.cfg
Shouldn't it recreate itself as soon as you start League of Legends? Or I am wrong, not sure :D Anyways, here is mine: https://www.dropbox.com/s/af5j5u5qtbu5v1w/Game.cfg?dl=0
: update failed
Hey, please try the following: Navigate it to "C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\[newest folder]" In this folder create a file called "S_OK" (all caps). Do NOT add a file type extension. (To do this just create a blank file use any editor and remove or do not add the .txt. Then open the patcher again. _________________________________________________________________ If this doesn't work, you can also try this: Go to your League of Legends folder Open the RADS folder Open the Solutions folder Delete everything there (lol_game_client_sln folder) Then navigate to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects and delete the lol_launcher folder. Open the launcher, it should start to repatch the client and solve the issue.

: @Riot - Is there a way to apply as Champion Designer?
The best place to find jobs at Riot Games is their career page [here](http://www.riotgames.com/careers). The one you might looking for is [this one](http://www.riotgames.com/careers/game-designer). But as Pyro said, it is more than just having ideas about champions and you need a lot of experience in this field.
