so you guys will just gut Morde into oblivion after few days after his rework so he will become trash until next rework in year 2035 you just made a huge juggernaut/demon in black enchanted iron armor have the lowest armor gain his movement speed passive now is way weaker and also require Morde to get to lv 11 to get full effect... Sure getting full effect at lv 6 was dumb but if you want make it work fully later in the game don't gut the effect. I bet that you will kill jungle Morde and force Morde to be only top laner where everyone will destroy him because his damage will be gutted and he will run around with barely no armor unless he goes full tank (and then he will do negative damage lmao)

I have no clue what do you try to achieve by those nasty changes/nerfs? by killing assassin/burst Diana you just make people stop playing her at all. She is already bad/crappy champion and now you just kill the only decent thing she can. I'm already tired of people that pick Diana and go with trololol tank/bruiser Diana and when you kill assassin/burst Diana then people will have more reason to trollpick tank Diana now yay you are removing that stupid "spell weaving" idea from her but can we get back her old passive that was giving her flat 20% attack speed steroid? So she can go back to jungle at least? Also why are you nerfing her passive damage when her "E" ability is non existing and it's just empty spell with no purpose beside pseudo aoe CC now. Her kit is already boring/empty when you look at other melee non tank AP champions She lost her ability o sustain mana so she can't even try to poke enemy or cs from range. She become even worse laner. she should get movement speed buff not from procing her passive but from hitting enemy champion with combination of 3spells and auto attacks or just by procing her shield (W) or using (E). She will get CC to death by enemies or just enemies will dash/blink/kite/kill her before she can swing her sword 3 times. she should get some kind of interaction with W + E. If she use W first and then E then her 2nd/refreshed shield becomes stronger. If she uses E first and then W (on enemy slowed by E) then her shield would "explode"/deal damage again after small delay If you plan to make her again as viable jungler assassin/fighter hybrid then non of those changes even make a tiny step closer to that idea. I still rather prefer Ekko in jungle or Akali in lane over Diana. Not to mention that AD assassin/fighters are better anyway (why bother with AP jungler when you have Rengar, etc or why bother with AP melee character that's not Akali or Sylas when there is Zed, Riven, Irelia, etc). And no, making her as boring bruiser/diver/tank character is just deleting her overall, better just make new character with such archetype and leave Diana alone on the bottom on dumpster I wish you could rework her into something ala Rengar + Ekko hybrid. mobile assassin/fighter... I swear to God why Diana looks like the not wanted/most hated kid when it comes to melee AP characters? Sylas, Ekko, Akali, Eve, they are way more fun and enjoyable to play than poor Diana. First of all our intentions of doing less VGUs and more New Champs was actually based on caring for the playerbase as well as from player feedback we have gotten over the years as we have done New Champs and VGUs. Expect to still see plenty of VGUs in the future, just not as many as we have been doing last year. The reason why I feel that his is coming from a caring place is this. There are many players that share your perspective, that they want their main updated, and changed. But you have to understand there are also many other players that love their Champion, and find it very frustrating when they are updated even if many other players think the update makes them way better. We have to care about these players as well, and whenever we do VGUs we also cause a lot of disruption and frustration from players over their Champion being changed. New Champions generally don't cause this player pain. Last year we actually saw a lot higher player frustration over change, partly due to how many old Champions we were updating and changing, with many older players feeling alienated by the changes. At this point, after Morde, many of the Champions we would consider for a VGU have much higher players bases then the Champions we were doing VGUs on in the past. This isn't to say there isn't value in doing them, but if we were doing them at the rate we were doing them last year, on Champions with bigger player bases, then that is many more players that would feel frustrated or alienated by the changes, even if many other players like them. This isn't to say we want to stop doing them as we feel there is value in the game feeling modern and up to date, which means we value updating the things that are getting old and dated. The Champions on the list just aren't as dated as some of the ones we did over the last couple years, and as a result the value in updating them isn't as high, and also has a higher disruption and player pain cost since the Champions have bigger player bases.

: Firat off do not buff her. I love the champion but she is oppressive as all hell. She needs to be changed and I mean like a small gameplay update. Even right now if she gets ahead some how she just destroys anything in her sight. She is extremely unhealthy. There are two options I see for her. 1. This IMO is the easier and better option. To start she will be a fighter/diver not an assassin. The main changes to accomplish this would be to lower her burst damage mainly Q and give her shield a bonus health ratio as well as the ap ratio. She needs self healing added to her kit and the CD of her Q lowered so she can use it more so she can dash more. 2. Keep her as an assassin. But her kit is horribly designed for that so it would probably have to be a full rework changing practically all of her abilities.

Atm her issues are: 1) mana costs 2) low mana pool 3) no mobility pre-6 (and even after lv 6 she can't compete with Akali or Ekko in terms of sick mobility) 4) her E is very lackluster (mana expensive and huge cooldown and effect is quite not very effective) so people max this spell as last (even with the attack speed boost people will still level it as last spell) Also how do you want to make Diana focus on autoattacking when she don't have tons of CC to stick to her targets? I'm not sure if you realized but Diana ain't Riven (stun on low cd, mini knockups on low cd, bunch of mobility) so she can't stick to enemy target while dealing tons of dmg and being durable (thanks to her shield that scales with AD). If you want to Diana somehow work with auto attack than she needs to either hard slow enemies with passive or even give her mini stun or give her Q or W slow while change her E to pull+root enemies. Because the slow/pull from her E isn't enough to keep someone close to her long enough so she can swing her sword more than 3-4 times, specially if she is fighting champs that have bunch of mobility spells (and there is lots of champions like that)

How about just crap Malz whole kit and make him work like Azmodan from Heroes of the Storm? splitpusher/summoner/long range poke machine? Keep Malz Q but rework everything else. Make him actually become the powerful Void summoner not 1 click ult stunbot support that he is now. You gutted jungle Malz, you overnerfed mid and top Malz and now you had to gut support Malz because it was to OP for last few months but by killing support Malz you also killed mid Malz (impling someone actually plays him on mid now after his role change to support) and the PBE changes are garbage (rly? voidlings dying after 1 single autoattack? in game with TONS of ranged characters) You could also change how his ult work. Instead of stunning himself and his target he would be able to move, his target would be slowed hard and the only way to cancel the link would be to dash/blink/flash away from malz or to stun/silence him (knockback wouldn't cancel link since it would be way to easy counterplay) Or just bring back old Malz.

: diana was released to be an AP mid assassin, like fizz, but she was to be a counter to fizz/leblanc/etc, she was never intended to be a jungler. not until season 4 did we start seeing her there.

LeBlanc was the only one because of silence D) DFG was making her as true angel of death E) many many more stuff she got nerfed to the shithole because people abused her on mid. Then everything changed: new mid champions, new items/masteries, new meta, reworks, etc and then Diana was slowly buffed here and there so she could jungle at least. She got range buffs on R, buff on W, changes on her passive and recently change on E + Runeglaive/Runic Echoes introduction helped her in terms of jungling same goes with Xin if you remember him after release he was monster in top/mid lane. Then he was slowly nerfed and when new champions appeared, meta changed and whole game started evolving he was reduced to jungle and then forgotten

Every 3rd Q, Everytime she proc second shield from W, when she hits enemy champion with E and when she manage to hit same target with R in short durtaion! so Diana got ignored totally? * Akali: assassin/sustained fighter - hurr durr she is labeled as assassin. * Diana: assassin/sustained fighter - hurr durr she isn't labeled as assassin. both have ranged Q on poke, both have dashes on ults, both have small AoE (Akali E and DIana W), both have silly soft CC (AoE slows) and you build both as burst assassins (lich bane, hextech items, zhonya/abbyssal, etc) only difference is that 1st have invis, 2nd have shield... but both are forms of sustaining damage after diving onto enemy RIOT that's how you are showing middle finger to Diana mains by not including her in assassin roaster but Akali (and Ekko) yes... she is part of the assassin "spellblades" team for gods sake -_-

: The Wiki there does have some interesting history on some cancelled concepts. It's also got some stuff that's just pure speculation though. Looking at Gavid's page for example there's the comment that 'Zyra closely mirrors Gavid's abilities and thematic' which isn't accurate. To the best of my knowledge the gameplay designers working on Zyra never even played Gavid's kit let alone decided to take any abilities from it.
what about Diana? On wiki there is info and even concept arts where her E was actually her ult and she could deal true damage in huge aoe after channeling (with effect of huge moon eclipse animation). But it was scraped since back then it would be to strong/not fit game But would that ult fit into game in current state of league? Making her R as basic ability and her E as ult that deals crazy AoE damage after fully channeling it

People will just change graphic settings (low textures, gamma, shadows, etc) or even change game files (no need to even use outside programs or hacks) to make blurred enemies visible all time. Just change Rengar invis and keep other champs like they are. They have short duration invis or just like Eve they can be detected from range. Rengar is the biggest problem because he gets bonus movements speed, can use items like yomuu a then he changes into F16 that nukes you in second without giving chance to react. Make items/summoner spells break his ultimate and make him visible to enemies from certain range just like Eve

I know that you guys don't see Diana as assassin but will she get any love during the assassin update? Maybe she isn't popular (specially in high elo or competitive games) but people play her as mid-assassin or jungler-assassin (her pre-6 is very bad and she needs lots of items tho but her passive and shield makes her jungle very enjoyable in terms of sustain and clear speed) not as tank/fighter/bruiser/teemo/ward/support but with buffed Ekko and reworked Akali after GREAT ASSASSIN UPDATE Diana may end in even worse state and become less popular and not worth picking at all specially if Akali will be able to kill enemies faster than Diana and in same time get some escape mechanism or smth :( I remember like 2 years ago IronStylus said that RIOT will look at Diana as an ASSASSIN if she will even get rework so when you guys announced her as some pseudo bruiser-fighter-diver it just torn me apart and probably not only me ;_;

The only certainty we have with Ekko is that he is intended to live somewhere in the Slayer space (squishy melee damage dealer). Ekko has easily been one of the most controversial when it comes to categorization because he does so many different things effectively. Once again the list of candidates was simply that - a list of possible candidates. If we think we can and should make Ekko into a healthy Assassin with a few changes, we may consider it.

so basically every assassin do this... they dive in, kill squishy target and gtfo. no assassin is able to deal easily with bruisers/tanks unless you are feed or champion is OP broken and have bunch of %max hp dmg/%true dmg... You won't see Zed, LB, Eve, Fizz insta gib tank or tanky bruiser nor Diana. but they are marked as assassin while Diana isn't which is dumb. Diana can delete squishes faster than other mentioned assassins.

: Hey Daiana, That's a great question and here's my best answer for you. Assassins are meant to be extremely fragile but nimble, avoiding damage by simply being (or not being) in the right place at the right time. Assassins also have the mobility to both get in and out of sticky situations - being able to disengage safely from risky propositions is a staple of an Assassin. Diana is a champion whose thematic and identity suggest that she should be much more brute force in nature. Diana is a champion about conviction, she finds her moment, rushes into the battle then remains in the fray until the very bitter end. Diana was always meant to be more of a Fighter-type champion - this is reflected in mechanics like her W shield and her Passive which incentivize her to get into the heart of the battle and duke it out over time. Unfortunately, we've never been able to really achieve that gameplay fantasy on her. Instead, Diana has always been far burstier and squishier than intended and thus now reflects a fairly unhealthy Assassin pattern that is extremely reliant on snowballing or feeling completely useless. Akali is the opposite story. A champion who was meant to be an Assassin but has always benefited extremely well from tankier / fighter type builds due to having out-of-place mechanics such as Spell Vamp or massive Armor and Magic Resist buffs. An easy kind of Assassin litmus test I use is the following: would it make sense (both mechanically and thematically) for this champion to have a reliable escape / disengage button? For Akali, I think the answer is yes. For Diana, I don't think it makes as much sense.

Even IronStylus year ago said that she is Assassin and RIOT wants to keep her as assassin. HECK even in her old spotlight Phreak said that she is assassin. She have similar kit to Akali. Q = poke just like Akali poke from Q, W as AoE just like Akali AoE from E, R dash/burst just like Akali R, passive that gives bonus damage just like Akali passive, ability to avoid damage with shield from W just like Akali can become invisible with W, slow with E just like Akali can slow with her W. **You build her as assassin, you delete squishes in split second and then run away or die if focused. ** SHE ISN'T FIGHTER/BRUISER. **why the hell are you nerfing Malz ult when it's already pathetic?** people expected serious buff to his ult or adding flat dmg to tether/lazor because QSS counter his ult in 100%. His previous ultimate was better because you could escape from CC with QSS but not from damage unless you break tether by running away from Malz or CC him or make Malz autocast W when he uses ultimate on someone + make spawn Voidlings spawn faster and spawn next to ulted enemy. I barely notice E dmg during fights. I can put E on enemy adc or mid laner and they maybe lose 1 hp bar and that's all.... while his old E would hurt them badly. ATM it's super hard to insta burst someone as Malz because his only reliable damage source are his Vodlings that are situation and needs to spawn in lots of number to be effective. ------------- also 25% dmg reduction to Voidlings? do you guys just throw giant nerfs numbers pulled from magic hat? do you even tested if this won't gut jungle Malz? few pros that played jungle malz pre rework already said that new Malz is weaker in jungle overall.
: Correct, Worlds skins aren't considered a check mark for a champion, per se. The fire-themed Diana skin isn't esports related, so this particular skin will count in terms of 'giving her a skin'.

she is and that's why I made this thread so in case RIOT is still working on it then maybe it may give them some nice ideas for it. I just hope it won't end as some ugly "full body heavy armor + helmet" skin or Diana as some fire monster/devil.

We're trying some stuff at the moment that's showing some initial promise (shorter E Vessel duration so you're not waiting forever to start normal play again, faster tentacle spawns during that reduced duration, shorter spirit lifetime, removal of the 'hit Illaoi to reduce the spirit's life mechanic since that's not well communicated and is often just a trap).
* rework her passive so it's less RNG. Let player decide when he wants to summon tentacle. It's unfun when you meet enemy jungler in river OR teamfights starts and you have no tentacle/s nearby because passive is on cooldown * remove the "active/inactive tentacles" thing. This allow enemy to know if Illaoi is around even without no wards in bushes. Illaoi can hide in bush and enemy will still know that she is close because tentacles are active aka she is very close * increase hitbox and attack speed of tentacles ... they miss most of the time unless you play vs bots or people from Wood V * disallow Nasus to get stacks from tentacles * disallow enemies to get gold from tentacles. I feel like I'm free gold machine for my enemy overall you need to fix/rework 3 from 5 juggernauts. Illaoi, Morde and Skarner are giant failures. Darius is still good/strong. Garen is somehow ok (nothing special sadly)

it's because of Flash Player. after you log into client you/we (have same problem) get PC freeze because all those adds are loading and they are made in Flash Either RIOT messed something with Flash coding with recent update or we need to wait for new Adobe Flash update. This problem is old as fuck and it's related with lots of games that use Flash Players a method to display stuff (promotions, news, etc) in game/launchers

: Given that this is an issue we have been tracking, I wanted to confirm with you: Are you using an Nvidia Graphics Card by any chance? There has been some known instability with one of the driver versions and they recommend downloading their latest one (364.51) in order to resolve it. If this doesn't seem to help at all, make sure to complete all of the steps in our [Game Crash Article](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201761974-Bug-Splat-and-Game-Crashes). The steps there have some of the most common solutions to preventing these types of freezes. Give me a heads up if you still see any issues!
I had this problem like multiple times in past and not only with League (for example Wakfu patcher was freezing my PC too) and after recent patch I started to have the PC freeze again. It's not connected with Graphic Card (I updated my driver today and I still have that problem) but with Adobe Flash or Adobe Air. Either the new launcher (not the window we use to log in but the main HUB with all videos, featured spectate games, shop adverts, etc) have some issues with flash (bad coding), so when you first time launch LoL they start loading and make PC freeze, so I guess it must be checked OR people who have this issue needs to wait for new Flash Update. I never found solution to fix that in past. Sometimes it sopped happening after I got new Flash Player update and sometimes after "X" game was updated
