: I play tanks all the time and never feel this way. Tanks are meant to be countered by juggernaut and skirmishers because they will be useful in teamfights even if they fall behind in gold. After you see that {{champion:36}} {{champion:14}} are very resilient in most matchups. {{champion:98}} goes toe to toe with {{champion:92}} {{champion:114}} . {{champion:54}} even counters {{champion:92}} {{champion:62}} and some other ad fighters. This is prohibiting proplayers taking other options other than tanks in top lane, and is unhealthy.
Tanks were meant to counter skirmishers in the past but riot changed everything...

: Personal opinion (not on balance team). In regards to THE FAST. I agree that he feels "off" right now, a bit too fast. IMO Hail of Blades could use some work, seems like a rune that is warping on Jhin while being pretty hard to take advantage of for the rest of the roster. That said, stats wise, Jhin doesn't seem OP. His winrate is average, his pick/ban status in pro seems healthy, he's not highly banned in solo queue. His pickrate is high however, but we see threads like this pop up all the time on boards whenever a champ is popular. When you see something in a lot of your games you tend to start noticing the things that might feel BS about it. Here's something to think about. League balance is like a ladder. There's ALWAYS going to be a popular champion that you see a lot at the top of the ladder. When you nerf bat them off the top, another champion is likely to take their place. If it isn't Jhin it will be MF, or Draven, or Kai'sa, or Jinx, etc. A good question to ask is, "who would you rather see at the top of the ladder? Who makes the game best when you see them in your games?" There's always going to be someone who's played the most.
I have a question : what are ashe or kog maw supposed to do against jhin ? The new champions you create have complete kits that allows them to be better at everything than older champions is that what you want to do ? outdate old champions ?

: Preseason Development Update 1
Hello i just hope you'll be able to make this season a little bit more player friendly instead of lcs centered. In my oppinion Season 5 should be an example of what should be done. For Jungle items i really hope that we will get new interactive effects and visuals when using smite. I hope that power spikes will be revelant again (early, mid , late). Finally i think longer games with less damage should be a good thing for the game. No one should be os by a full spell rotation unless you are an adc or a squishy character getting attacked by an assassin. Opressive damage metas makes people angry and leave the game as you saw this year.

That's not it... The objective of a rework is to keep the champion kit and look and to modernise. It has to keeps it's core identity. Swain's core identity was beatrice and they just removed her from the game so yes this rework was a fail. They destroyed his identity. When riot does a rework they expect more players to play a character. But they try to keep old players to recognise their champ and his identity after modernising it. It those 2 objectives are not a succes then it is not a good rework. Swain felt like a new champion, aatrox and galio too.

I prefer s2 for sure but we cant revert the game riot doesnt hear us. At least compared to swain aatrox and galio your champion wasnt completely destroyed. He fucking kept his ult and main spells concepts. I fear a lot my main rework which is malphite. However if his spells are reworked as nunu's i would be very happy. At least they didn't destroyed every part of his kit.

Don't worry i played since season 2 i know it. However you are lucky nunu kept his ult and main spells... compared to swain, galio, aatrox and sion. That's a lot better.
: I was with you until you mentioned Galio, Sion, and Aatrox. They had larger problems in that their kits couldn't be preserved as they were (ESPECIALLY SION), and their VGUs greatly improved them.
Comon they could have kept the galio and sion ult. If sion was mean to be at tanknwith its old ult i would be the undying tank each time he could hit an opponent. For the rest of the kit i was ok but the ults were their identity.

Well by changing ratios you still don't offer counterplay that's the issue there. Because you are hit only by one spell is it fair to automatically recieve other spells damage without any counter except qss ?
: Malphite
As a malphite main with 430k mastery points. I agree for the visual part however his kit is rock solid. It's one of the rare characters that has never needed big changes and that had a continuous close to 50% win rate.

Want it or not they still listen to their playerbase. For example blizzard announced the vanilla wow servers which the community was asking for years. But it was more to cite big companies with multiple AAA success games.

It's different promos gives you sometimes higher level mmr opponents than yours because it considers that you have to be able to beat stronger opponents if you want to climb to a higher level. Sometimes there is a huge gap which doesnt feel fair. As your opponents are stronger you feel as your mates are bad. Level gap is too high.

Blame 2 things climate change which has raised whith carbon dioxyde and the project haarp which is a reality. My phd teacher has a friend working in oxford as a climate specialist and cia asked him if there was a possibility for the us to know if other countries were controlling the climate. He answered i don't know but scientifically perhaos it should possible to controll the climate but to detect it no answer. He didn't believe in the haarp project himself before he was asked this question. Apparently after ww2 and cold war high politics decided instead of fighting wars with weapons usa russia and china fight with climate by ruining production of ennemies using ionosphere devices the global warming increased a lot because of this. Add to this pollution levels and dioxyde carbon emission and there you have.

The role of an assassin is to roam and find weak squishy targets. And it should never have been changed ! Actually assassins can melt tanks bruisers and some mids that should counter them that is pure illogical. The nerf is deserved !

Assassins should only be able to os adc and some mids. They shouldn't be able to 1v1 bruisers, tanks and some mages. : They removed the ad ratio because it made no sense for it to be there. As for bringing him to the jg. Only a metashift will work imo. Buffing his kit could make him over bearing in lane due to his simple nature (think pre rework akali). He's relatively uninteractive pre 6 as all tanks are. He could very easily become season 6 nautilus top. Who just beats everyone due to wave clear and dmg. No tanks apart from amumu are any good in the jg atm which sucks sure. So unfortunately you'll just have to wait for a meta shift. Try giving smite/ignite with tank/domination (healing and true dmg ) page a go. If you're clears are bad as go bramble vest into cinderhulk. Smite ignite will be more risky than when I did it with naut, as you lack a non ult gap closer but the ignite allows you to fight for scuttle and at least trade 1/1 if they invade.
With the ad ratio and the splash damage malphite was more a bruiser than a tank. The old malphite could fight a way lot easier bruisers. The only time i got 10 times victories for the placment games was with malph ad top or junglem however riot said that they wanted him to be an ap oriented character. Since this time every malphite loses most of the time every single fight against any bruiser. In the past you could easily take a darius 1v1 now dont even try. The old w also gave +40% ad damage. They never did any compensation for killing the bruiser aspect and jungle aspect of malphite.
