: The State of Memes & Games
Hmm there seem to be some unresolved issues between LF and the moderation team because I always feel like a bit of personal tension creeps into these threads whenever LF makes them. If I'm right about this I would like you to consider what you are trying to achieve when responding to each other. I risk being presumptuous here but I mean well.

: Thought Idea for "a taste of your own behaviour. "
Story twist: The apocalypse slams down on us because the insulting players beat the pro players just by picking easy-to-play op champs. "Where hast the balance gone?!", a wise league sage screamed from the top of a stormy mountain. Then NA meta zombies spread over the world like a plague. People send their hopes of stopping the invasion towards EUW... only to find that only sheep live there. China panicked. Their golden goose was not lucrative anymore! After a lengthy discussion during the coffee break, China decided that if they can't profit from LoL, no one will. So they sent their nuclear bombs to end us all. The end.

But people liking or disliking other things than me makes me feel insecure. Their enjoyment comes at the cost of my self worth. {{sticker:sg-soraka}} To be honest discussing this is pretty mute. People like to think that other people liking different things comes at the cost of a wider implementation of the stuff they like. : Higher ARAM dodge penalties needed
Or even better, make it that if someone dodges that person gets the same champ again for the next match. This way dodging becomes almost useless.
: For those who own every champion, chests and level-up rewards should work differently
I don't see how that would be an improvement when the game gives you legit reasons not to buy every champ. I also don't doubt that unlocking all champs is a shitty goal for a lot of people to aspire to. The BE emporium was designed exactly for your issues except people who don't want to waste BE on champs they'll never play can profit from it too. Expanding the BE emporium seems to be the better suggestion.

Nobody is on board to allow context to come into play when punishing people here. That is indeed an issue worth thinking about. I believe though that the notion of not allowing context to be an influencing variable, comes from the idea that people's personal issues and emotions that are negatively perceived by others, should stay out of the game because they hinder the prime objective of the game: to have fun. And that with the majority in mind. It is true though that a lot of boards members are very fond of the idea of personal responsibility. I can't tell if this is the best approach or not. But given that this is just a game it seems a viable one to me. There is also a calculation of unwanted behaviour here. People want you to focus on yourself with the sentiment that you hold all the cards to improve yourself. Blaming context can be seen as an excuse (whether justified or not). Either way there is no ideal solution where everyone gets treated justly. Some people will always have to pay the price for that.

: Not sure why this is getting downvoted. This is a pretty classic debate around corrections vs punishment or an eye for an eye. Essentially it boils down to you hurt me so I want to see you get hurt. : Should one feel good about getting others punished?
It's perfectly natural to feel good about seeing someone get punished and it's in being honest about those feelings and reflecting on them that they become ethical. In fact feeling good about punishments is part of our judicial systems. When someone breaks the rules, rules you adhere to, it devalues those rules and inspires a sense of unfairness and diminishes the trust people have in the system. When someone gets punished, it reaffirms a spectator's/victim's believe in the rules. It gives a person confirmation that an unfairness has been corrected and that society supports them and what they believe to be right or wrong. In that light it would actually be more rare to not feel good, especially when you are the victim. The scales are not the same, but reporting and punishing in LoL is not that different in that regard.

: Don't OTP hard to play, mechanically intensive champions if you're not already uber high Elo, you're just going to lose over and over while you learn them and the raw mechanical skill will do nothing for your winrate. If you want to find an OTP, it's not about "pick this champ and win"; Play ARAM until you find a champ that you click with. Something that makes you say, "I'm going to main only Twitch for the next 7 years." and then, you can make a smurf account or spend RP on changing your summoner name to say, "90lbsSoakingWet" or "RatATatTatBestUlt" and dodge every single game you don't get ADC/Jungle or Twitch is banned/first picked.

: Give Me Your Recommendations for Fun Champions To Play! (Support/Mid Prefer)
Taliyah support can be pretty fun. You focus on peeling with her displacement and with her Q after you rushed Rylais. Her ult is an absolutement bomb to deny enemies objectives and routes. In low elo you probably can save a lot of teammates that got caught at the weirdest places. If you can go into melee I recommend Poppy sup as well. I mean... who doesn't want to play Poppy? Only downside is that you have to rely on your adc to proper position himself much more. Those two are off meta but a lot of fun. Honorable mention: Vel Koz is a beast as sup and can be played mid as well (but struggles against assassins though).
: Hye, The Wise Child((Champion Concept))
Good concept, but if you peer into your heart, do you really want another child champ? I'd prefer an older adolescent or young adult if you want to go into that area. To each their own though :) Now the most important question: Which owl are you? I could immediately identify with the owl above the tea can. Either it's sleeping or it has no idea what's going on and faces the wrong way. I know that feeling owl bro.
