I honestly don't understand why people are complaining. They only nerfed his waveclear, he's a SUPPORT. His Q now is single-target damage, which is the **expected** behavior of a hook. His E now only damages champions, so again, this only affects his waveclear. BUT: His Q cooldown got lowered His W now gives more move speed at higher ranks So all in all, it's a freaking BUFF, not a NERF. What makes Pyke OP is his **ULTIMATE** and his **HEALTH REGEN PASSIVE**. And these both remained THE SAME. People who complain about the changes are just unreasonable smh.

If your a mage like taliyah you are wasting a full item to buy a dead end qss. The ult isnt even the main issue. His passive along with his dmg output is. You cant have a champ take that much dmg and output that much dmg. Just comical.

: Her tether *isn't* harder to land than Lux's, though. In most cases, you'll W>E>Q>W then stay in range for E pop. The tether also has a huge range and way too low a tickrate. And dealing with her W is just obnoxious. It's a long-range dash (600 units) without a condition that you can return to within a decent amount of time and an R that duplicates that. Mostly I'm just annoyed that she gets to be safer with her W than Ahri gets to be with her fucking ult.

I think Lux's is easier to land because: 1) It has more range 2) It hits two targets, so she can fire it through a minion As for her W, as I said there's a small window but you indeed have to be very reactive. RW is mostly used for escaping, or getting close to a very low health enemy that is far away. And she might be safer than Ahri, but Ahri has much better waveclear, deals true damage, has better CC (charm), heals from passive. To each champ their assets.
: The hitbox for hooks is a lollipop. Imagine (or just draw) a circle around the tip of the hook that is a Teemo in radius (2 teemo diameter) and there you go. The actual hitbox is close to that. It was done to make the skill easier to land, because Riot does not think we are capable as a playerbase. Also, because flashy plays, etc. most skill hitboxes, even the ones with indicators, actually extend beyond those indicators, this is to make the skill-shot easier for people to land by literally just not being visually accurate. Go stand next to a Lux E, A Sion Q, Lux R, you'll see that even when outside the designated hitbox, you will be hit. Now, they didn't do this for everyone, some skillshots are more precise, but it's not as common as the wonky hitboxes.
