Amumu's Q. Sometimes I even flash into it when trying to dodge.
: Did you understand what toxicity is? He as moderator should have a neutral position, or he should have riot s position. Do you rlly think it strengthens the feeling that riot has good employees that know what they do, if yoh have ppl like him, stating entirely wrong stuff. Look at the first part of his comment, is this a joke or? Duskblade was bought by every single assasine and it still gets bought by every single assasine up to today. Especially mentioning that pro play has nothing to do with solo q and thus should be irrelevant, when it comes to soloq balancing. Yes espeically a forum moderator is in need to have an excellent game knowledge, because of otherwise comments like that happen. Sorry that im not of your optinion but to call me stupid isnt the right way, that btw is toxicity. tbh the only embarassing thing is your obvious biasedness for op champs.
Forum moderators aren't employed by Riot Games, nor do they share the opinion of Whoever-Is-In-Charge-Of-Communication in this company. As for Duskblade, comments on the [LoL wiki, as well as the history of changes made to the item](http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Duskblade_of_Draktharr), seem to indicate that it was indeed pretty weak in its first iterations, then was changed into something powerful enough that it was nerfed within a few days. Look at patch 7.14 in particular, and the hotfix that followed it. Doing the math, it does seem that the first Duskblade with its Nightfall passive was a bit meh. Its being purchased by a number of champions is pretty recent.

A light-hearted joke or wordplay usually does the trick for me. It won't always make the rewd person more joyous, but at least it lets me have a good time, which is what this game is all about in my perspective.

: Idk why people complain about the client
Never had any sort of problem with it, except the usual extreme lags on logging in, entering the champion select screen, picking a champion, bringing up the missions tab, finishing a game, completing a mission, entering the shop, loading each tab of my collection, bringing up the crafting screen, you know, that sort of stuff you do only once in a while, so it's fine if it takes four times the resources required by optimised game clients that do the same things four times as fast. What do you mean you'd expect it work well? Can't have the looks and the functionality, buddy, and someone made a choice. Not you obviously, but you'll suffer the consequences nonetheless. : > So...people should not feel insulted or bothered when people state negative remarks? Yes, exactly. If a random guy on the internet who doesn't even know you, and will probably never meet again says something bad, then you should NOT FEEL INSULTED by it. Exactly. Also, the guy said: "that you might consider it, then you should really check out a therapist" He did not talk about being offended, he talked about considering suicide. And he is totally right. If somebody considers suicide just because somebody else was mean to him on the internet, he HAS TO SEEK HELP.
It's not about feeling insulted, it's about being reminded that at some point you had what you believed were excellent reasons to hang yourself. Nyuxiie also specifically stated that it wasn't due only to one person telling them such words. As in "depression" and "abusive childhood". Also, for all we know, they might already be seeing a therapist. Reopening a wound won't help it heal; in the same way, being reminded of the things you try your best to avoid is harmful.

Actually people with no empathy can be even more interesting than the normal ones, since you can not expect what they will do. xD Where in your book does it say that having no empathy means being, err, "bad", whatever that means? I specifically used the word "interesting", to make absolutely sure no one would take it as a moral judgement. I suppose I'll add a line such as *__~~WARNING: THIS IS NOT A MORAL JUDGEMENT~~__* next time, just in case. I also did write "as interesting a human as a dishwasher." Dishwashers aren't human, so they aren't interesting in that regard. A person who has no empathy is, to me, uninteresting as a human, though usually still interesting in a number of other ways. Is it clearer that way, or do you still see stuff that a board terrorist could transfigure and make say irrelevant things? > Thanks! That is exactly the point there! (Also, I hope the ~~dicks~~ mods remove the imbecile, why would you be offensive with them?) Because demanding some stranger, through a computer screen, to kill themself is, to me, a proof of extreme stupidity, for forsaking tens of thousands of years of refining social behaviours into useful policies, acting like one's actions have no consequences and doing things based on concepts that, if widespread and expanded upon, would make for a society that would be difficult to live in. Or blatant ignorance, which can be cured if the person wants it to be, but could be worthy of a few harsh words, especially when said ignorance is harmful to others. Also, most people are imbeciles in a number of ways. As an example, I'm stupid enough that I'm spending some time to explain my thoughts to a stranger over the Internet: you don't know me, you probably won't even remember this chat tomorrow, and whatever I write likely won't stick in your brain long enough to change any of your behaviours (implied: durably, and for the better). > Nice empathy there man! Lets laugh on the unfortunate fellas who were in a stupid accident. You can laugh if you like, but I find it pretty sad that someone would die in e.g. trying to prove a grenade has been defused (and it hasn't). It still goes to show that stupidity sometimes comes back to bite, which can be comforting to some.

No, actually I believe everyone should care about such things. Anyone should feel ashamed to even think about telling some fellow human they never even met to kill themself. These imbeciles don't mean it, and while that doesn't make them any less stupid, you're absolutely safe from them. Do you happen to own plushies? Bigger ones are incredibly comforting to hug, and even a small bear you can talk to when you need to get something off your chest. It's cheaper than a psychologist, and more cuddly, too! Have faith! : Girls be like: " Riot is sexist, stop sexualizing women champions" also girls
You know, when you assume that there's one kind of girl (I'd prefer woman, but never mind that), you give some ammunition to e.g. a person who would criticise LoL's champion design for making nine out of ten members of the female roster look generically appealing. Cause, like, there are a number of people with different opinions, even on these boards. It's not because a few topics were launched by users who advertised themselves as girls that anyone with two X chromosomes should agree. Also, some complaints might have been that LoL females are a majority to look sexually appealing, with designs such as Kai'Sa (wtf, a V-neck on a void magic battlesuit) that kinda murder the ideal of the female warrior, gunslinger etc., thus showing almost only females that make sexual jokes and wear skimpy outfits on their hourglass-shaped perfect bodies _**~~(1)~~**_. Not a lot of characters to identify as, you know, except in some recent releases such as Xayah. Meanwhile, male characters get some less generically appealing characters (Trundle, Gragas), some buff warriors in heavy armour (Garen, Darius), some younger and cooler guys (Ekko, Ezreal), some shirtless buff guys (Lee Sin, Rakan), some furries (Rengar, Nasus), some physically more average dudes (Twisted Fate, Talon), etc. And that since ages. I kinda get why Kai'Sa irritated a number of players. And I also get why Sylas still hasn't blown up the forums into a gender war: he got the Kai'Sa treatment, sure, but that tips the scale towards equality between shirtless buff dudes and skimpy slender dudettes. Not sure about the arguments that were used when Kai'Sa was released, but that'd be my analysis. Partial and incomplete as it may be. _**~~(1)~~**_ Except Evelynn, who doesn't wear anything.
: Riot's at it again! Blatant over the top sexualized champion! Sylas the Magic of Hunky Studs
I imagine that you wouldn't see much of an outrage if, for example, most people who were unnerved by Kai'Sa's design were outraged because a number of females received this sort of treatment, and very few males. It could be that some of them disliked the disparity rather than the designs themselves. Last female champion isn't a stripper (Neeko), and announced male champion received the Kai'Sa treatment. It's the best one can hope since changing existing champions' aesthetics won't be done any time soon. If everyone gets the Kai'Sa treatment, then it isn't sexism, it's equality in top-modelling, like a Men in Black 3 protagonist taking a sudden shower and walking away with perfectly combed hair in the next shot. Just a guess, I'm not in anyone's head other than mine.

Internet or not, you have to abide by the rules that you agreed upon while making account. And they state that racism in any way is highly toxic and punishable. OP is not being a snowflake, insults like that are simply r%%%%%ed and are coming from stupid people, so i get why he would get angry at that. Insults without a reason SHOULD be considered bannable, outside of 4 chan and Dramaetica.
If I may provide more sensible arguments than sticking to the rules: The key differences between real life and the Internet are: a supposed distance between users (two speakers can be 10 000 km apart, or live right next to each other); speech is typed and read rather than spoken and heard; actions on the Internet don't always translate into real life stuff. Someone's being far away isn't a valid reason to insult them; the fact that insults are typed rather than spoken only make them last longer; doing something because one hopes there won't be any seen consequences is the kind of thing kids do, when they hide behind their back the hand they've just used to taste marmalade. I fail to see any reason that makes the Internet so much different from real life. Freedom can be conceived as either freedom _from_ or freedom _to_. Usually both are intertwined. In this case, freedom _from_ being insulted, or freedom _to_ insult. Let's say a person was abused when they were a child, and they're still struggling with their memories of this event. If you call this person a whore, for example, they might face unpleasant memories and feelings, slide a bit further down into depression, etc. You'll have done what you wanted, that is blurt out a few rude words, and someone might feel absolutely miserable because of it. Now with the same person, let's say you don't call this person anything. You ignore them. They are not likely to face any unpleasant memories or feelings because of you, and your encounter won't drag them down. On your side, you won't have blurted out any rude word, and if you are half of a reasonable person it won't affect you at all, because you don't _need_ to insult anybody. If it's about pent-up frustration, enter a boxing club. Being free to insult someone might easily cause terrible things, because, as you said yourself: you don't know who the other person is; while being free from being insulted will at worst make you look for a surefire way to release your mildly negative emotions. I prefer avoiding any sort of insult, so that, even if there are times when I'd like to call someone a moron, I can be assured that I won't be given hell when I would prefer being ignored. Feeling miserable when insulted isn't being a "snowflake". It's called being emotional, and I do hope you are as well, otherwise you have strictly nothing over, say, my blender. Or the wardens in their watchtowers, monitoring their cooped up fellow humans down below.

: This is what i am experiencing as a muslim player in EUW VERY often.
So, uhm, like, it isn't exactly on topic, but... "Übermensch" in German refers to a concept developed by Nietzsche, and without going into the details it's more meliorative than pejorative. "Über" is a bit of over and beyond, and "Mensch" is a person; so calling someone "Übermensch" (or any grammatical variant, such as, err, "ubersmetch" because fk u keebord), if used as an insult, denotes either irony, or ignorance (for not knowing about it) coupled with extreme stupidity (for talking about it anyway). Like, this person is lost for the cause. Other than that, may I know if something, in your opinion, might have triggered what looks like a trip on acid for this player? I certainly don't get this sort of attacks before I type anything, even with a nickname that a number of fools label cringeworthy. It certainly won't excuse them; I'm just curious what I should do to get brutes out of the woods.

This is effectively 20% total armour pen, if you want to word it differently. no it subtracts the damage taht would have been lost from the conversions pool of damage. At a certain armor threshold it is 100% armor pen. The Rune assumes the target isnt taking the physical damage and just takes the true damage as 20% of the total. This means that 20% of the damage isnt mitigated, not that t20% of the armor is ignored. What THIS MEANS IS, it stacks BETTER with armor pen and percentage reduction than worse. Yasuo with his R up and conquerer with last whisper normally ignoreds 80% armor. However it takes exactly 125 armor for yasuo to not do true damage. However, with The dash into lethality mastery this goes to around 160(7x5 based on the 80% pen plus the 125 armor( takes 25 armor to get 20% mitigation x 5 do to the 80% armor pen.) Yasuo does true damage through 200 armor if he has any lethality at all outside of sudden impact. If yasuo has a black cleaver upwards of 300...... if he has infinity edge...... god .. that functions the same way... so around 300 for it to. unless he has cleaver WITH it, then its like 400. Ill go test to make sure.
You're right about the difference between armour pen and true damage conversion. They're equivalent only at 0% and 100%, so I wasn't exactly inspired when I wrote it down. Thanks, in any case!
: Well, to be fair, in that case it would potentially make the difference between proccing nullifying orb and hexdrinker/maw. It's also not quite the same thing as 20% armor pen. If you were dealing 100 damage to a 100 armor target, with conquerer you would deal 20 true damage and 40 physical damage. With 20% total armor pen, you would deal 55.5 physical damage. The difference becomes more apparent the more armor the target has, at 300 armor for instance, 100 physical damage becomes 20 true damage and 20 physical damage, while 20% armor pen would deal 29.4 physical damage.
I'm not sure where I got this idea of armour pen: looking at it, it's only true at 0% or 100% conversion/pen. I stand corrected, and will try to keep that in mind next time I spew nonsense. As for nullifying orb and others, it is one interaction I hadn't thought of, perhaps because the few champions that hit me with Conqueror usually deal physical damage. Duly noted. And thanks!
: You do not understand how conqueror works. The true damage is 20% of damage dealt converted. This means when you build armor it reduces the true armor being dealt by conqueror itself. The only reason you are having issues is yasuos armor pen.
You don't understand how Conqueror works. If it converted 20% of damage dealt to true damage, it would effectively do nothing. Or does your health bar differentiate 100 HP lost from magical damage, and 100 HP lost from true damage? In its current iteration, Conqueror takes 20% of premitigation damage and makes it true damage. ~~This is effectively 20% total armour pen, if you want to word it differently.~~ It isn't! : Why does taste of blood have a 20 second cooldown.
Partly because you only need to hit a champion to recover HP with this rune, while the other two require to use an ability (except Cheap shot that can be activated by Ashe and Frozen mallet users with basic attacking); partly because dealing 8 true damage at level 1 is pretty meagre as compared to recovering 18 (+20% bAD) (+10% AP); partly because, eh, with higher sustain people in Riot Games' HQ would think there aren't enough kills to make the game interesting.

: It would be fun if building armor against Yasuo, or any conq user, was useful.
So you mean that a Yasuo with Conqueror, any Zeal upgrade and Infinity edge will ignore over half of your total armour for 15s after having pressed R? (50% bonus armour through ultimate buff, 20% total through Conqueror, 10% total through IE). I get that offence should overtake defence so as to avoid having juggernauts bedecked with plates of armour smack each other for a solid 30s before one of them thinks of retreating, but I would have put the middle ground a little before Conqueror. Still, I'm no developer, so I wouldn't know what the largest audience of LoL prefers after seeing that season 8 had brought a 21% decrease in revenue as of August.

: Half-off and My Shop sales are practically a steal if you manage to get a skin you really wanted for some time. That kind of a price reduction (70% on as much as a 1350 skin), is very much a good deal - provided you play that champion. It's like a Black Friday sale in League. You can't walk into a Walmart on Black Friday and just take whatever you want for free either. There's a reason people make such a big deal out of it.
Whether the deal is good is up to personal opinion, I imagine (except on Riot Games' side, where the only indicator is the number of sales). We agree at least on the fact that a promotion isn't a handout.
Tomoe Gozen (EUNE)
: How so? What is your ideal number of free things you think you should be getting from Riot? Or are you more of a person who's looking to unlock _**specific**_ free things? Where does it end for free handouts? I think Riot's running a fair number of deals for everyone and yet, players think that they should be getting Secret Santa levels of skins on a yearly basis.
You're calling three kinds of promotions "free handouts". I don't have an opinion on the rest of your comment, just wanted to point out that something you have to pay for is, by definition, not free.

And conqueror hits like a truck with infinity edge thats nearly 40% true dmg with a master yi passive thats 50 % true dmg not sure how much his E gives him but Yeah .. building armor on a full AD team is not as helpful as you think ....
I did not state that building armour was helpful in any setting. I wrote, precisely, that resistances were 80% effective against Conqueror. Implying "as compared to a setting without Conqueror involved." As for testing: hitting a training dummy with 100 armour. No Conqueror: 34 damage on hit, down from 67 (base AD + runes, this is old footage). https://i.imgur.com/3Q6XkzX.png Conqueror: 43 damage on hit, down from 73 (base AD + runes + 6 AD from Conqueror). https://i.imgur.com/Ao4ngFV.png Base damage reduction is 100 / ( 100 + 100 ) = 0.5, or 50%. Total damage with bonus AD from Conqueror but no true damage conversion would be (rounded up) 73 x 0.5 = 37. Total damage with bonus AD and true damage is 43. Total damage reduction is thus (roughly) 1 - (43 / 73) = 0.41, or 41%. Efficiency of resistances against Conqueror, and as compared to without Conqueror involved, is thus roughly 0.41 / 0.5 = 0.82, or 82% efficiency. Rounded numbers are skewing the result a little. Barring these, resistances are thus 80% effective against Conqueror, as compared to without Conqueror involved. I can precise it into "against Conqueror as sole source of true damage", if you like, since it is more accurate for people like Yi or Vayne. Still, I'm right. Mathematically proven just there. : I think my exacerbated feeling of scepticism appeared when I read "free money". You missed the point. I won't go into it again for some person who hijacks a discussion to slice my arguments into whatever feels easier to comment on, answers without understanding, calls me ignorant, puts words in my mouth, and avoids half the important points. Have a nice day.
I'm unsure why I took you for somebody else. This "hijacking" stuff of mine could be a trip on acid if I was into that kind of thing, so I'll chalk it up to stupidity on my side. So. 125 tokens isn't huge, it's miniscule. It's not a refund on potential purchases. It's not RP. It's just another virtual currency of which you need a hundred and fifty to obtain something that has any worth to the company (namely, a skin lootbox). A skin lootbox (called "masterwork chest") is 150 tokens, (165 RP = €1.18), so this compensation was worth less, to the company, than a random skin shard per player who received the compensation. Add to that that you still need a key to "open" said lootbox. Tokens are numerous, but each has about the value of a Japanese yen or a cent of a euro. Said tokens are an incentive to aim for higher stuff, namely borders and colour variations, because half the work is done already; which in turns is an incentive to spend on a skin, in order to see that border from time to time. Even receiving a skin lootbox won't deter anyone from spending money to obtain a skin they want: there are 906 skins available as of now and almost no one will obtain the one they have set their sights on, especially when it's mostly "skin shards" that are worth anywhere between a sixth and a third of a skin. A person who doesn't usually spend might do so to complete their "shard" or something, and it'll be justified by the company being so generous and they really deserve to keep working on ~~shady business tactics including micro-transactions and online gambling~~ the actual game. Would you have bought that €10 skin if it had not been offered to you? If not, as I assume is the case, you could be given a few more and Riot Games' purse wouldn't risk becoming any lighter. They can grant e.g. me all the skins they want (except the ugly ones), and that still won't do them any harm because I'm determined not to give them a cent either way. By the way, you can't obtain a 1350 RP skin in a single lootbox without being as lucky as to obtain a gemstone/other lootbox twice in a row (shard plus enough material). I suppose you would have talked about such event, so you didn't obtain a 1350 RP skin out of this lootbox. It doesn't really matter though: if you believe you did, then you'll be convinced these boxes are an advantageous deal. Did I say it was a win for the company? Providing product samples has long been a marketing strategy to lure potential customers into buying. Riot Games is doing the same with 5/6th of a lootbox that is missing a key and won't give shit to 90% of the targets, but can have them come back for more. Briefly put, this is less compensation than it is another attempt at reeling in customers. I'm still unsure what you mean with "free money". The somewhat usual cases that have you buy money (e.g. overdraft on a bank account, loan, with fees pertaining to them) are pretty good indicators that banknotes aren't free. "Easy cash grab" perhaps? *** You took "which has nothing to do with preferences" away from the main sentence. As a whole, it was: "It's win all the way for something that, once again, costs Riot Games no money, which has nothing to do with preferences." The fact, explained above, that it costs Riot Games no money (quite the opposite), has nothing to do with my preferences. Or yours, or anyone's. Riot Games earns money from doing such things, and if I didn't exist it'd still be the case. If that has anything to do with my disliking a ward skin, then my brain is missing connections. You picked part of a sentence and interpreted it as if it were whole, as you did when you forgot that we were talking about the snowdown event, not the lootbox system as a whole, when you picked the "small bonus". That's for the slicing. You wrote once again that I belittled this lootbox system, and that I called what the company did as an apology of sorts "ass-kissing". I'd like to know what you call "belittling" (1), and where you find this sort of derogatory term in my first message. If you can't, as I imagine will be the case, then that's for putting words into my mouth. This event, as numerous other, being full of stuff that is a bonus to paid content ("borders are useless etc."), which makes it _de facto_ appealing to paying users, which does not change with these 125 supplementary tokens? Avoided. Lootboxes being an incentive for regular spenders to buy stuff? Dismissed. Players actually obtaining stuff they like through lootboxes being compelled to come back for more? Left rotting in a corner. That's for avoiding the important points, that is the ones that have to do with how the company makes a living off its customers' backs. *** As for the vacuum analogy: Riot Games' "gift card" is worth €1 by their own standards, valid for a very limited set of items and useful mostly if you already paid for some of said items (border requires paid skin). The "letter of apology" was a short message, identical for every user and put together in perhaps a minute, which doesn't state e.g. that the company is legally bound, by its own contract, not to make the service unavailable too often. Not everyone is targeted, only people who play a game after the incidents. Calling that good treatment is, if you allow me to nick your own words, showing ignorance of marketing methods that made Riot Games and other firms thriving businesses. That good enough? *** (1) Hard facts in the vein of "shards and keys are there for you to buy missing components" and "lootboxes such as these 'hextech chests' rely on mechanisms at work in gambling games to make people addicted" are therefore and of course excluded, since they're the naked truth.
: Ummm your wrong. This game favors AD Dmg. Every AD champ has % dmg in their kit. {{champion:164}} {{champion:24}} {{champion:126}} {{champion:67}} {{champion:141}} Or armor ignoring items like {{item:3071}} {{item:3153}} {{item:3147}} ... not to mention conqueror and grasp are op.
So... what's wrong in my statement that armour (and I add: resistances as a whole) is 80% effective against Conqueror?

Namely: nothing. Borders and chromas are useless to have without the related skins, and said skins are paid for; "masterwork" lootboxes and whatever little they give are either a small bonus to people who don't spend at all, or an incentive for regular spenders to complete their orange essence hoarding and obtain this one skin they have as a shard. And if a few players obtain a legendary skin or something, they'll definitely come back to play. It's win all the way for something that, once again, costs Riot Games no money, which has nothing to do with preferences. > > Nothing to answer to the vacuum part, since I was correcting a fellow user, not asking you to be mad about this company's customer service. > it isn't about my preferences but about what it costs to the company. Namely: nothing. Yes it didn't cost them anything to add the mission but they sure missed out on otherwise free money. I got a 1350 skin for free that i would've otherwise had to pay 10 euros to get. That's 10 euros lost on Riot's part and that's only one player. Multiply that by who knows how many people and the different types of skins that players got (think legendary, ultimate and, while rare, mythic) all of which is money Riot could have gained but didn't. > Borders and chromas are useless to have without the related skins, _and said skins are paid for_; For the lack of a better term, Duh? Like people enjoy a product and they decided to spend money on it and decided they want more flare. > "masterwork" lootboxes and whatever little they give are either a **SMALL _** bonus to people who don't spend at all, You are either really underestimating the system or totally ignorant. I own 57 skins (1 ultimate, 5 legendary, 21 epic, 12 legacy and the rest are normal) & I only bought 7 of them which where either on sale or 70% off from my shop and it wasn't the ultimate or any of the legendaries. That's 50 skins worth of money in which Riot have missed out on. For someone who rarely puts money into the game i'm more than happy. I don't know about you but what i have is not in any way a "small" bonus, and that's just one example. > It's win all the way for something that, once again, costs Riot Games no money But it absolutely does. Riot pays employees to generate ideas for new skins and for others to execute them. Artists for splash arts, ingame models, testing, maintenance..etc. all for a single skin. That doesn't sound like "costs nothing" to me. > which has nothing to do with preferences. Would you explain to me how it doesn't have anything to do with prefrence??? Like seriously i'm baffled to finding a response to this for how obvious it has to do with personal prefrence. The player CHOOSE to play a free to play game that he CHOOSE to spend time on because HE enjoyed it thus HE DECIDED to spend money on it. All because HE thought the cosmetics were WORTH IT. Unless you're saying that since it's not a physical object and just code then it's like "throwing money down the drain" then... you're still wrong. Spending money on virtual things, cosmetics or otherwise, is a choice all in the name of enjoyment. Just because i decided to watch a movie in theater on opening night once instead of buying a dvd and owning the movie forever doesn't it mean that it's a waste of money. I payed for the enjoyment, for being one of the 1st to watch the movie on the big screen. For the memory of that moment. The same comes to cosmetics in league. People find enjoyment in having a different look for their character, owning a special border or icon thus it IS worth it for them. You might not get said enjoyment out of cosmetics thus it is worthless to you, that doesn't mean it applies to everyone.
I think my exacerbated feeling of scepticism appeared when I read "free money". You missed the point. I won't go into it again for some person who hijacks a discussion to slice my arguments into whatever feels easier to comment on, answers without understanding, calls me ignorant, puts words in my mouth, and avoids half the important points. What counts as "worth" is heavily tied to personal preference. The same can be applied to the example you gave. Some see the vacuum as an important house appliance while others see it as an unnecessary house appliance easily replaced with a much cheaper and way easily replaceable broom that, in their opinion, can do just as good of a job as a highly expensive vacuum cleaner that needs constant repair. Your opinion on what you see as "worth it" is just that, your own opinion, and doesn't apply to everyone. People who have bought the pass in the 1st place are fully aware that it's in exchange for sth virtual and that it's strictly for cosmetics. With the "worth it/ not worth it" debate out of the way let's continue with your example. > are they losing money or making sure you will come back to them next time you need electrical appliances? If a company i used to deal with/ buy from showed improvement in their customer service and treatment to customers why would i be mad? My vacuum, that was damaged before purchase, got fully repaired with an additional apologize letter and a giftcard, not only for me or even just for every other customer who bought the same vacuum cleaner, but to **every** customer that happened to have an email newsletter subscription as an apology for the inconvenience. Riot admitted their mistakes but didn't just stop there, they didn't just extend the gamemode's time by 3 days, they gave everyone, even those who didn't by the pass, a sum of tokens with higher value than what most people would have ever earned during these 3 days if no issue ever occurred. They made a mistake, fixed it, gave back to everyone and people are grateful. What is so bad about that? Is it "a** kissing" if one is appreciating a well handled issue? No. Just like with the vacuum cleaning. If i thank the customer service for the good and well mannered treatment (despite the vacuum being damaged before purchase) i'm returning the good treatment back, being a good customer and showing that the way they treated me was very much appreciated.

: you still block 80% of their damage
Your armour is 80% effective against only conqueror (not counting any other armour reduction means). Which means that, if your character boasts 100 resists (both MR and armour), their damage reduction will drop from 100 / 200 = 50% to 40%. I don't know whence you pulled the 80% damage reduction.
: Unpopular Opinion: Stop making champions until...
Because branding a claim that has been supported by a number of forum users for a while is now called "unpopular", thus upvoted. I get that everyone would love being special in every thing, but your opinions, especially on such topics, are shared by a number of other, common people. Find something else than a mildly controversial topic and virtual upvotes to think of yourself as successful. There are a number of things you can do that are meaningful, useful, and bring enough peer recognition that you should not find much enjoyment in making such comment.

Rito Games employees are human, and may react more or less strongly depending on what they understand was the intent of the person, their own experiences, how successful they perceive themself, whatever comes to mind. "KYS deformed" could very well be perceived by one person as seriously pushing physically handicapped people to suicide, which in a number of states is considered extremely severe an offence; some other could understand it as a sour joke with no ill intent. That's the point of having people do this kind of job: it is then possible to appeal to them rather than ask the reporting system overlord. I'm bewildered by the possibility to still use that exact name, though. Perhaps it is deemed reasonable to have players keep reporting stuff and employees reviewing cases rather than put efforts into a neural network that could recognise a number of offences.

: Things your game cannot have in China
What's incredible in this story of banning video games isn't on China's part (come on, who thought for a second that the government would let such opportunity slide to exert its power?). What baffles me to no end is that, after it was seen and proven that China has extremely high trade tariffs on a number of important goods (a few years ago it was 300% (three hundred percent) on cars), which goes to show how open they are to concurrence; that the Chinese government, through a number of state companies, owns half of each important business that implanted themself there; that a disagreement is always solved in favour of the Chinese partner; that foreign patents and techniques are stolen and reused by Chinese firms; that murderous censorship is enforced by a police state against which the most flourishing businesses regularly warn their fellow citizens when playing at home (apple and google in the US, for example. Let me remind the unaware reader that the USA are a pretty good example of democracy, China isn't); after all that, Westerners still invest in China, because there's money to be made. Like, money > ethics. If one of these firms tells you otherwise, then you have an idea how dodgy their morals are. As for the chat part of the restriction, I think it was translated into English as LoL having "inharmonious chatrooms". A very... interesting way to describe the actual way things usually go when you so much as ask a teammate how they're doing. Not exactly against having chatrooms _per se_, though, or at least they didn't say it that way.
