I still wouldn't balance for low elo, only for the worst offenders, but I would just balance for high elo and leave the damn pro-play out. Pro-play is just a completely different animal than normal league, be it Iron or Challenger gameplay.

Bans, I would like to have them to just remove some of the agency the people with spatulas have over the others.
Maybe the cannon could have a cooldown slapped on it, so you can't just be back in lane 5 seconds after you died the second time in a few seconds. But generally I like it better, as people don't just take tp all the time. I've found quite a bit of succes with flash + ghost on quite a few champs. I wouldn't mind bans, but 10 bans would be overkill in a random mode. 6 should still be enough to get rid of the worst offenders.

I honestly like it better as it is now. I love the cannon, as people won't just all take tp and compared to URF with pick you won't just see the same champs over and over, but you also get a shot to play champs that were previously taken out of URF or that were just permabanned. Playing vs Fiora, Eve, Galio etc. was fun if you could play them yourself at some point, but seeing the same bs over and over got old pretty fast. I found quite a few decent and fun champs by getting random champs. Bardo is my champ of URF rotation rn.

Combined with her shroud and the small E-dash it makes her so much more slippery than the old Akali. Old Akali needed an enemy to jump on, so once you covered some distance she wouldn't be able to follow with anything besides running and her small W blink + movespeed and you'd need jungle monsters in vision or enemy minions to use her ult as an escape. Now she has basically 3 dashes which she can use to escape + her shroud and she has 4 dashes (if she hits E) which she can use offensively. The bigger shroud also makes it way harder to punish her with AoE skills when going invis. With Old Akali you had most of your budget in offensive skills, with one true escape/safety ability and an ult that would mostly be used offensively, so once you're in, you're in and you need to play it clever to get out if needed. With her ult up the new Akali is just insanely safe and her Q now allows her to kinda kite melee champions while also healing of it. Old Akali was a bit one-dimensional, but at least she would have to think twice about taking risks and could be punished if you played it right, even with her cooldowns available. New Akali is kind of untouchable if she has her cooldowns up, which will make it hard to balance her as a whole.

People still buy extra rune pages? Before runes reforged I was trying to get as many rune pages as possible, but after runes reforged I haven't used any of the additional rune pages I got...I only use one rune page anyways.

Honestly, I find him super annoying as well, but without the shield he'd need a lot of compensation in his base stats like health and especially MR (only melee champ without scaling mr). Yasuo is super squishy, he'd get smashed by any laner with a little bit of early game power.
: Last stand is already strong on its users, though. Kayle, Trynd, Aatrox, Kled, Kindred...Anyone who can sit at that low health threshold for a while is really strong with it. Cut down is just not in meta right now. It doesn't need buffs, as it'll get much more use when tanks and juggernauts move back into meta.
Last stand on Kindred is kinda meh I think. Yeah, she can sit at low health with her ult, but anybody else can do as well during this time. You're so squishy that you really don't plan to go this low outside of these situations and your ults cooldown is way longer than Trynd ult or Kayle ult f.e. There are just way more situations where coup de grace is way better for you, especially due to Kindred's "execute"-bonus dmg on low hp targets. The other mentions are legit, but for Kindred this rune is way too situational and requires you to get into situations you don't want to be in too often.

I know, but 15% was more uncommon. 10% would leave you with no excess cdr, making full use of your runeslots. Zac was a champ that would want mostly cdr runes to get 20% from his runes.

But it's kinda the same way as back in the days. You could either get 7,5% on lvl1, 5% lvl1 and 5% scaling cdr or go for 10% scaling cdr + 3 runes of your choice. This is fine, it's pretty good for a champ like Zac or scaling ap users that might prefer items with little cdr. Remember you still have transcendence, so you'll have about 15% from runes at lvl 10 and could also take the 5% in the inspiration tree.

: Theres not even a need for preseason. The new season should start right away. We have to deal with buffs, nerfs, champion reworks, all season long anyways. Its actually stupid to give your players a reason to possibly go find a replacement game during a "preseason".
I think there should be a preseason, it just shouldn't be as long. Maybe do the preseason throughout December and start the new one once the new year begins. Still gives some time to fix major preseason flaws , but doesn't take such a long time to make ranked really worthwhile again. I still play ranked, but it just doesn't feel too great knowing it'll be kinda obsolete anyways ( I know that climbing higher gives you better chances to be placed in a better division once hte new season starts.).

Yeah, I got to Dia in Flex Queue, since I've been playing with a 5man-premade which was Dia5-Master in Solo Queue. I wasn't being boosted, they just had no top, so I played top with them. We stopped playing when I was about Plat1 with a Dia3-Dia2 MMR. There I've played a few games solo, not doing too badly. Then I played my promo with a friend, only playing vs Dia5-Master 70LP, while my friend was Dia1-Master himself...so at that point I wouldn't even say he could really boost me that much, since I had to hold my own vs a Master Fiora on top, or play adc (jgl top main) vs Dia3.

Nami has been hovering around 50% for several seasons and almost never got patched over the last few years. She's always been playable, while never feeling completely underwhelming or overwhelming. There were and are few champs who could say that.

Same. There's nothing I despise more than my botlane. It always is feast or famine. Enemy summs down, 2 kills ahead, manages to feed. Next gank, even more ahead, somehow still getting killed without any help from the enemy jungler. I just don't get it, even in games where I'm playing Kindred, we have a Jinx/Kai'sa/Tristana + Janna and tank top, botlane still goes complete ham so many times, instead of just chilling, starving the enemy with your advantage, they feel like "We're lategame carry + Janna, let's towerdive". Besides that, top laners constantly pinging for help. Like really, I'd love to get some good gank off and bring top ahead, but most of the time the priority is Bot>Mid>Drake>Herald>Enemy jungle>Top. It's not my goddamn fault you picked a no cc, no sustain top laner. You're expected to be more or less self sustaining. Yes, I will gank your lane, no I won't gank your lane when 30 farm and 3 kills behind. Deal with it and pick a top laner that can actually be useful without constant babysitting or being behind. If you cant manage top lane, pick fucking Maokai, don't give a fuck and be useful later. In almost any game: Laners not reacting to anything outside of their lanes boundaries, even when I'm fighting the enemy jungler directly beneath my mid, they won't even move anywhere near me, even if the enemy mid isn't really a threat.

Really? As a jungler I feel more like it's a botlane coinflip. Botlane isn't too important right now, but it seems like there's always a bot lane being completely smashed, while the other one feasts on them. What the hell am I supposed to do more as a jungler, when I make their bot use all the summs and mine still dies without the enemy jungler even showing? Then you'll get them two kills, they still proceed to die. It really feels fucking random to me. Either my botlane doesn't even need help and just permakills the enemies or my botlane feeds, even when they were four summs and two kills ahead. Same kinda goes for other lanes, but on botlane this feast or famine thing really seems to be crazy.

For high-skill ceiling I'd suggest: {{champion:69}} Not banned too often, but she has insane carry potential, isn't picked or banned too often. She has some quite nice utility with her W (Miasma, grounded) and can delete champions left and right once she got 1-2 items. She definitely isn't very forgiving if you make a mistake, but if you learn her and get good on her you can A) take many players by surprise with this pick B) hard-carry games and potentially make up a bad or losing adc, due to her sustained damage and late-game scaling C) have little risk of her being banned if you need to play mid D) she's also a great threat for enemies doing objectives if you put your Miasma on dragon or baron pit entrance f.e. . Due to her inbuilt utility you will never be completely useless, while also not being a utility bot. EUW tho, so not sure if I'm even eligible for your reward^^ If not Cassiopeia I'd suggest Taliyah as well, you can play her in your main role and mid-lane + she can be great at controlling and putting pressure on the map in a fast fashion.

Nobody in this thread even mentioned removing minion block. It's all about minions being more predictable and reliable in how they interact with their surroundings.

It just seems so random sometimes. 5 Casters lining up with gaps inbetween basically blocking 75% of the lane, but somehow not being able to walk between them, random aggro switches and super unreliable when aggroing champs and sometimes chasing them up their tower or stopping after one auto. Most tilting to me are the aggro switches...so many missed minions and so many missed kills because some melee minion decides to attack casters and block your skillshot. Having minion block is totally fine and needed, but minions need to be way more reliable in their actions. In Dota 2 I'll always know how creeps will react to my actions and even if they are annoying sometimes, I never feel cheated because they decide to do random shit.

Yeah, but even there it'll make a difference if the players can't clear their wave as easily which will result in even less cs, meaning it'll be harder to snowball. And what's lower rank for you? Silver 3 and below? Because even in high silver people kinda roam. Not reliably, but often enough to make a difference.

He's right though and you obviously don't seem to understand the impact this will have on LB's ability to shove the wave and roam. Meaning, she has to spend more time in mid-lane and has less impact on the map early-1/2 midgame.
: Considering that LB uses (and maxes) W as a waveclear tool, small changes there can have big impacts. -10 damage could, for instance, shift the point where she can clear casters with 1 W notably.

(Instant feedback for racial slurs, tell people to kill themselves etc is an obvious exception) - This is usually why you'll see people post incomplete chat logs and then they get picked apart by the community. As long as you're generally cordial with others in-game and don't harass people, you shouldn't run into any chat restrictions or bans.
Same, been playing on this account since early November 2009 and I've never been banned, chat restricted or anything, even though I can be quite talkative in chat and certainly have my games where I might be annoyed and be rude or mean sometimes. I just don't feel like I need to get into a long conversation about people playing like shit. I can talk about this with my friends in TS, I can be pissed in front of my monitor, but ingame it just leads to senseless conversations, leading to nowhere, most likely tilting my whole team because two people just seem to flame 24/7.

I mean, Viktor has a 53% winrate in very high elo, which is the place where he was most popular every time he was strong. In lower elo he was played less, even in his strong state. He's strong into specific matchups. I was put against a Kennen yesterday and he's a great pick against Viktor top. He can just all in you with protobelt and ult and your own itemization becomes way less comfortable than against AD tops. Viktor is a counter right now and I really think counters should be way more emphasized in league, because right now, especially in lower elo it's less about picking according to what enemies pick, but more about just looking at your own team and maybe hoping you just picked more or less synergizing top tier champs. I'd love to see bottom tier champs to be picked into champs the might counter more and I'd really like to see a way of balancing where a champ doesn't get gutted because he's dominating a lane right now, but where you're given the opportunity to pick a counter, even if it has 44% winrate, and destroy that champ.
: Day one hotfixes are one thing, not fixing something for months, like say Zyra's plants being bugged to hell for 4 months or Mordekaisers's... everything (How many bugs does he have again? 160 something?) and it becomes real clear unless you are their favorites, you'd better enjoy getting fucked over for a very very long time.

You need Kindred to have to take a bit of risk, even when her range has grown to 650. Combining this ability with the attackspeed buff would be way too strong in short fights, but make Kindred's jungle clear and power in extended fights way weaker. Giving Kindred a movement speed buff on Q would make her inescapable, especially if you get some CDR. The W does really really hurt after you got some stacks. Especially players who might get a lot of HP but little MR get punished for taking dmg from her wolf. Making her and wolf seem more as two characters would be great, but besides that I really think you're trying to fix something here that's not broken and your suggestions would just make Kindred become way more feast or famine.
: well my issue is laning phase i have made this comparison many of times darius lvl 1 has more base hp , same armor and mr and more ms then maokai darius gets free damage from passive stacks, free armor pen, true damage on ult and then more damage for conqueror as maokai i have no recourse in lane but to hope i dont get caught cuz darius has a ranged grab/slow and ranged aoe damage while moving faster then i can, have more damage then i do, and he heals too plus his 1st item phage makes him faster then i can be at all unless i take celerity and take boots to start the game. then i might have a chance. i know darius should counter maokai thats not my complaint. my complaint i am a full tank who has less def stats then darius who flat out damages me in any trade. nothing in my runes gives me really any survive-ability in lane what so ever. if i get armor he had true damage and armor pen, if i get boots i have no def stats to sustain. if i build pure hp he still wins trades. and its not just darius , this is just an example since you used him. garen, is another issue. kled OMFG what bullshit he has more hp then tanks at nearly every point of the game with % hp damage based on AD he builds. top lane meta is bruiser ignite conqueror meta and those who can use it the best are typically king of the mountain. sion is an exception but i have seen sion go full ad /leathality i might be a bit bias (i am a maokai otp ) but in my opinion tanks are at the worst they have been in a long time as a whole. and its cuz of the runes.
Maokai seems to be one of the less problematic tanks right now. Of course, Darius is a shit matchup and the only way you can win trades or fights by yourself is when he fucks his E up, but in most matchups I'll just outsustain most enemies. In most AD matchups I'll just buy {{item:2033}} ->{{item:1029}} {{item:1029}} {{item:1029}} -> {{item:3047}} {{item:3800}} {{item:3068}} and even conqueror users will most likely be very very sad until they have something like BC ready. In most cases I'll just wet noodlefight my enemies to death or hold back until a gank, because in gank situations Maokai's W is actually great vs Darius since you just get super close to him so he can hardly hit his Q.

I'm pretty stacked with some of the older skins. Got UFO Corki, Young (Human) Ryze, Silver Kayle, Judgement Kayle and Urf the Manatee obviously. Sadly I'm super mediocre on all of those champs, so most of the time I just try to play them for the skin I get rekt haha

Fucking hell, I thought I had some kind of dementia or whatever. I'm pretty sure I've encountered this a few times recently, always being 100% sure I pressed the right keys, but some part of my combo just didn't happen. What the actual fuck Riot? Bugs are part of every pc game there is and especially in League of Legends I expect bugs to occur on a regular basis. But this level of bug is just beyond my comprehension. This needs a hotfix asap.

I really miss the honorable opponent honor. Sometimes I'll have really nice conversations with enemies post-game or just some fun(!) taunt battles in chat. If I lose or if I win, I'll still find people just being nice and having a nice chat even though my or their team is getting stomped. Really helps restoring faith into the community.

Kindred is rather strong right now. I really don't see why she should be reworked and I think her current passive is way better and less feast or famine than her old one. She actually kinda is my jungle main champ, since she allows you to replace a failing adc, while also being able to do stuff solo.
: Y'know if an ability is so retarded that even when his entire kit gets nerfed to the ground but he is still picked for that one ability maybe we should start going away from "but that's his niche duuuh!" "it is so iconic about him duh!!" That's why this game is so shit. BEcause riot ALWAYS does this and the community accepts it that they don't remove toxic/unhealthy/unbalancable parts of a kit but rather nerf everything else to keep the "identity".
Honestly, totally different way of balancing, but sometimes I really think the Dota principle might help this game. Less "everybody has to be somewhat playable and fair in every kind of game", more hardcounters or general counter-systems. This way we could get way more interesting abilties like Tahm's W that will be strong in certain comps or situations, but the enemy team can then decide to play certain counters etc. There are heroes with very low general winrates in Dota, which might be hard on OTP's, but even those low winrate heroes suddenly start to shine when they're in the right comp or counteract certain kits. Biggest problem: Low elo gameplay will suffer, because it won't help when Azir or Asol hardcounter certain champs, but a Silver non-main tries to play them.

Dude, I'm playing on this account since 2009. You don't even wanna know how many people already cried for me being reported, but since I seem to act like decent person ingame and when I complain I really only do it in a non-personal, non-insulting way I've never gotten punished. Not even when the chat restriction system was new and the whole boards went on about how they got chat restricted for nothing. It's not even like I'm trying to be supernice or something. I just try to act normally and I'm a rather active writer in-game, so it's not like I'm doing the /muteall move and just don't say anything.

Honestly, the ult really is not the problem. Unlike old Poppy's ult he can be cc'd and he can be taken to such low health that he's finished off easily after the duration. The "level 2 all in and if you don't stand at your turret or I don't crit you die"-mechanic is a much bigger problem. His ult isn't problematic if your team has some sort of cc. Tryn is superbad at teamfighting, because he has to built squishy to be a huge threat and even slows can cripple his ability to do stuff quite a lot. He already is a very niche splitpush champion and as long as he doesn't get superfar ahead can be shutdown easily with some basic coordination and as long as you don't have on of those super-squishy almost no hard-cc teamcomps. Of course he'll crush games where teams aren't suited to fight him properly, just like Yi with some feed will destroy teams without hard cc or at least really reliable and fast burst.
