And the only way they will recieve actual help if they are relevant in the league of legends scene. Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is that knowing WHEN something happened wouldn't really help the person prove Riot's data incorrect, but it *would* provide valuable tools to the scripters. To me the cost/benefit payoff seems very much in favor of not revealing potential vulnerabilities in how the system identifies scripting.
But wouldn't it be better to handle this by a case by case system, and have a human check the evidence to see for possible mistakes, instead of just giving everyone that complains a blanket statement or having their support staff read of a script tailored to different scenarios ?

: But how have you proven it a mistake? Their data is showing that the League client or RAM used by League was interfered with by another program. What proof do you have that this did not occur?
I dont have proof, I just have my word tbf. But as shown in the Gosu example, Riot clearly can make a mistake. So if they made a mistake then, why wouldnt they try to see if they have made a mistake previously

They dont have to go into detail but to just say on what day they were alerted or on what game That would allow people who are building scripts to identify exactly when their scripts are being identified. That's valuable information that can be used to build better, harder to detect scripts.
Hmm true, but it also prevents the person that was falsely flagged to have to just deal with these mistakes, regardless of how much time/effort they put into the account. And the only way they will recieve actual help if they are relevant in the league of legends scene.

If that's how it works, that's how it works, but it's incredibly fucked up. Lol. "Even if you are innocent and nothing fishy was going on, one of your other programs could have flagged the system - even if nothing really happened it all. They're policy is there policy, so you're out." Lol. It is what it is, but it's whack. What would your suggestion be then, that would not allow people scripting to simply remove the scripting software and claim some system malfunction? Because if Riot double-checking their data isn't good enough, then I'm not sure how they could ever actually enforce a third-party account punishment, as you'd effectively be saying that the punished party's word is worth more than the data Riot sees about what is occurring.
I think Riot should provide proof if they are going to give a such a harsh punishment, like they do when you are toxic. They dont have to go into detail but to just say on what day they were alerted or on what game
: Unfortunately, that's really all there is to the situation. They *do* investigate this stuff thoroughly, and if there systems indicate that something was interfering with *League* files, then something was interfering with *League* files, whether something you were doing intentionally or, as mentioned, something in another program of yours that changed. If all their investigations indicate an issue, they're bound by their company policy.
Yh but clearly the system made mistakes, the same way that it did for gosu in his instance. Im not saying that they aren't bound by policy to permaban if they suspect foul play, but they also have policies to revert their decisions if they were proven to have made mistakes.

: Banned for unfair reasoning
For those wondering why the summoners have swapped, I was testing Key bindings on a new mouse (those mouses with the numbers on the side) , Like the Attack only champion and stuff. That's why with champions like kalisa and cassiopeia, the summoners have swapped, and with my main Twisted fate, the summoners and stuff are normal because im too comfortable using my old mouse and set up to use the new key bindings. (Except in games where i forgot to change back, thats why sometimes i took the wrong runes too ^^)

: Summ spell swapping is the completely best way to tell if someone is account sharing. It's also easy as fuck to just rebind the summs reversed so they look in the same slot, so idk how people are still getting caught like this. And yeah, he swapped spells 9 days ago, then started playing normals. So someone prob scripted on his account.

Mb man, didnt see the reply on the other forum, just thought it was more suited to be on this section of the forums

If I was scripting I would just make a new account In this thread you say you used to script but not anymore. In the support ticket you claim never to have scripted. According to Riot's software you did script. I believe the latter.
I dont think you understood what I said, I meant if i was too script, i would not care about my main account as it would be easy for me to climb elo on a different account. However, due to me spending so many hours climbing on this account, I dont want the rank that I have achieved to be stripped away from me
: Didn't you post this exact same thing yesterday?
And yet you ignored it yesterday?

: I mean, yeah, the op was scripting, got caught, got banned, opened a support ticket, lied about scripting and Riot chose to uphold the ban. All that is fair. But the demeanor and attitude of the support person he communicated with got me wondering if that person is purposefully trolling this guy. If I had an issue and got this kind of treatment (whether the issue was legit or bullshit), it would make my blood boil. There's not much problem with the first message aside from it's ending, "if you have other concerns, feel free to contact us again" to somebody who just got their account permabanned. This is a polite thing to say to somebody whose issue you just resolved but a monumentally dick thing to say to somebody who you just informed has lost their account forever. Then in the second message the support asshole just straight up copy pastes a large portion from the first message, like the other party was a mentally challeneged or just didn't care enough to read it the first time. This is the #1 sign you get that you are not being taken seriously by somebody whose job is supposed to be to take you seriously. The following messages have nothing problematic when it comes to the main content, but then you start noticing the way this dick keeps saying bye, one example being: "I wish you good luck and a wonderful week." and finishes every message with this gem: "Ahhh, I'm just a big toasty cinnamon bun. I never want to leave this bed." In the given context these read together: "Fuck you very much you dirty scripter, I revel in your suffering." I get that people at player support have to deal with lying cheaters upset about losing their accounts ten times a day, but that's part of their profession and pretending to have empathy for these people should be too. The last thing you want customers to feel when offering customer service is that they are being brushed off, right?
But I wasnt even scripting, ive been playing the game consistently for 3 years. If I was scripting I would just make a new account
SonicAF (EUW)
: Waaaait wait wait. Explain please. Did he share his account with a scripter?
No, I dont account share :/
