> **Allowing a few champs to go beyond level 18** It seems like a tempting idea. But if you ever consider it, please do it in preseason, not in the mid season. This is another huge change to the game. And one of the canidates would clearly be Kog'Maw or Nasus or Vayne. But to be honest, if Vayne or Kog'Maw make it though to the mid game in a decentish manner, they are already in a good position to win the game. A change like more levels is just like a "win more" card in TCG's. The main win condition of Kog'Maw is too get enough On-hit and Attack Speed in a reasonable time frame and to position very well. Getting another level would just be the icing on the top and would give him more power in a phase where he is already supposed to be dominating. How about you add more Role-Specific Items instead? And make the Melee / Ranged split - have AD Assasins and ranged AD-Carrys NOT have the same Lethality Stats or Items in the first place. AP Carries are figuered out, and it's usually best to just buy Ludens into Magic Penetration. I think it would be nice if there were other, niche options to express skill in being aware that "placeholder" Item might be a good buy. After Ludens you can either get Liandries in rare cases, a Rabadons / Meja's if you are super fed and know how to play or just magic penetration like 99% of the time. Boring. **We need more spicey items.**

In patch 6.22 it was mentioned that Rengar's Assassination window is extremly short. Now he is exactly like he was before: At the moment he leaps at you out of his Ult, you are dead. No way of interacting with the opponent. Not very fun. So you want to keep him this way?
: Feature/QoL change/Idea Generator for 2018 and beyond!
Feature: Buying mutlitple Items at once in the store Example: Either buying Hextech chests or things like the Hextech Mystery Champion or the tickets for the new Tournament mode. It is kinda annoying to click again and again to buy multiple items of the same kind. Target Audience: Everyone :D
: Feature/QoL change/Idea Generator for 2018 and beyond!
Feature: Changing Summoner Icons in Champ Select I have a ton of icons. Before I go into a ranked game I don't know _which_ champion I will play. If I play a champion with a Poro related skin, cool, I get to have Poro Skin, Poro Ward and Poro Icon. If I play Lux mid, I can't change my whole attire to Star Guardian Icon, Star Guardian Skin and Ward skin. I have all these Icons and ward skins but can't express myself the way I want to. Target Audience: Long time players that have lots of different Icons that fit certain skin themes / champions / occasions.
: Malz's reworked passive has been causing problems since day 1
I don't understand OP's concern. Late Game Malzahar (Rylais, Liandries,Morello, Boots) is one of the most disgusting things in the game. The control of the battlefield with a Rylais Q is massive. _But the way to it can be rocky._ Getting to 4 Items takes a lot of time / gold. Malzahars Ult is very punishing to _overextending Divers and Assassins_, but Malz players know that you can't just flash ult the enemy ADC in teamfights. You punish the people that overextend / are too far off from their team. I think having someone like Malzahar is good for the game. We saw at worlds the **_4k+ HP tanks_** and that Malzahar was able to deal with that. Having a lever like that is a good tool for the game. I enjoy Malzahar's playstyle. It's pretty unique compared to other mages. Succesfully ulting a target feels good. I think his **weakness **with the **long range mages** in lane is pretty distinct, so I'm not sure how much problems his "lacking" counterplay is. Just look in your games how long it takes for enemy carries to build QSS - bad players just are too greedy and think they can manage without it. And the fact that Malzahars Passive can be broken with Auto Attacks - dunno. His kit can clearly be distorting when numbers or item interactions like Liandries are too strong, but the current iteration seems to be a good addition to the Mage Roster.

a) It was mentioned in posts leading to preaseason that Hextech Chests should have a chance to get an additional chest or the bad luck protection. It WASN'T mentioned in the patch notes that the change is live. When I click on the Hextech Chest's in the shop they still don't say that they have a chance to contain an additonal box. Work on your Clarity! b) A friend and me play sometimes together. Mostly ARAM's. He has a TON of keys. Like a lot. But he won't buy hextech chests cuz - like me - we play for a long time and have all champions unlocked. So what about people that own all champs? Shouldn't they just get cosmetic things out of the hextech chests?
: Oh I think lots of people called it a shitshow. I would also personally call it an "unmitigated fuckup carnival" and an "emotional chernobyl." But hey, that's just me.

People were pretty pissed in 2016 for Dynamiq Q. At the end, when it was announced that Solo Q would come back, there was one little post where one Rioter admited, _'yeah, we fucked up. Sorry.'_ So I wonder - are you allowed to talk like that? Considering that Riot spend most of 2016 defending DQ... I just searched for the talk show with Scarra and GBAY and I find it rather amusing in retrospect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwPa1SGLGv0

Time to unbench the Kench and piss some enemies off.
: It is going to take forever to unlock 6300 champs now. Roughly every 150 games played.
a) you have to factor in the daily win - its pretty substantial with almost 600 xp b) if you happen to have enough blue essence around buy hextech mystery champions

: We wanted to distinguish the support items more, rather than always giving them similar effects. That meant pushing Frost Queen's line towards more combative stats (CDR in this case) and in a way that leaves you happier sitting on it at Tier 2. Coin by contrast's then got more gold generation but less in combat power, and has a stronger argument for upgrading it earlier.

Well, but when even Brand Supports get Coin because Spellthief doesnt provide enough Mana Regen, isnt the whole argument flawed? And can't the Support that got Nomads Medallion early invest the more gold he gets INTO combat stats? Cuz that seems to be often the case that you basically lost the arms race as Tank Support or Spellthief User.

"Possible change to how we do gameplay patches next year" Yes please. Less disruptive things in the middle of spring or summer split, more time for a meta game to settle in after the big changes for competitive gaming. It became apparent this season that some changes in the patches (like Lethality Items again) underwent not enough time in testing and I would rather have smaller patches, and have players come up with Champion picks to counter certain strategies or dominant picks.
: We've been thinking about this a bunch. It basically depends on your playstyle, I guess. Like I really get stressed editing masteries in champ select now, so I'll probably have 20 Rune pages for the ~10 champs I play so I don't have to spend a single extra second on building one from scratch every time. That way I can just change like a few runes on one of my preset pages and then have time to grab a beer or whatever. So this plan works really well for me, but you might not use it. I guess the question then is, is that fair enough for you? Like you're still getting all the other improvements to the rune system (including free runes, editing them in champ select). So does the change overall still feel fair for you even if you don't use the extra rune pages? I'm genuinely asking.

So does the change overall still feel fair for you even if you don't use the extra rune pages? I'm genuinely asking. Back when I started in season 2, one was required to be at least be able to somewhat play every position and have runes for them. After the introduction of role select in season 6, as a support main, I basically had to never touch jungle or Top lane (my worst dreaded lane) again. To know if one needs more than the two rune pages, it depens on how intuitive and quickly one can adjust the runes. I really feel the old rune page system made sense for the old system, but the new system should be looked at a new system (Full rune pages for everyone/one page per champion which can be edited in client and select???). It was mentioned a couple of times that runes are a big problem for the new players, and basically purchasing rune pages with RP , or even buying IP Boosts to buy runes was part of the old monetization model. League has changed since then. Apart from skins there are lots of other things one can buy to individualize the experience. Hextech Chests got introduced. Seeing some posts about the money some people spend on them to get their Annie or whatever skin - welp... Tons of icons. Ward Skins. The last event probably flushed in quite a lot considering how popular Yasuo is. Do we really need Rune pages to be something that has to be purchased in 2018? Just take a look at Hearthstone and how new players struggle there. With a fresh rune system, this is something that could be avoided.

: Let's Chat about Honor
I don't find the symbols self explanatory or very distinct. I usally have to hover to think about what is fitting. I think it could use a little whimsical, more personal touch. League has such interesting characters. Take Braum for instance. A nice Braum comic icon for gg heart would be my idea of cool. He is a kind guy and a great poster child for it. Or a poro.

Windspeakers Blessing helped Enchanter Supports like Nami, Sona and friends to finally have a deserved place at botlane. Nami had been in a pretty rough spot since her release - never too strong and pretty difficult to play. 4 or 5 years later I would say - thanks to the new items + Windspeakers, she is finally in a decent spot.
: We're not ready to go into details on this yet, but we'll share more details on this as soon as we feel confident in the plan. There's a lot of variables at play and just refunding the IP and RP isn't going to cut it.

There's a lot of variables at play and just refunding the IP and RP isn't going to cut it. Well I started League Mid 2012 and I invested pretty heavily in Runes at that time. I actually bought IP Boosts 2 times I think and all of the rune bundles. So reading that not just the IP and RP will get refunded seems like a really cool idea. I know that runes were a painful subject for a large amount of the playerbase, but I liked the system, even though the potential never fully got used.
