: Why do you call something a buff when its not a buff and id even go as far as to call it a small nerf. His w changes were slice of life changes. He gained 10 dmg plus 10 percent of his ad on his Q which would be at best 40 ad overall 50 ad increase on his Q. He lost 15% of the ad he gained with his ult which on a 200 ad carry that would be 30 ad for his Q that would mean 27 dmg so he gained 23 dmg on his q to compensate for the loss of at least 30 ad on all his auto attacks and E. How is this a buff in your opinion????
You left out the most important part, W cooldown lowered and he can now reactivate W from a larger range It was clearly a buff, that's why his win and ban rates went up across the board

What a stupid comment. GA, Guinsoo’s, all the crit items don’t give cdr. Hydra and Mercurial don’t give cdr. Do you even play the game?
: I think part of the problem is that because of his nature with Q he's fairly safe to at least Q minions to keep alive barring really rough matchups. The other issue is that he is either a stat bomb or useless. There's very little in between and he either rolls you or just kinda exists. I can point to Lee Sin and see a lot of things either I didn't respect or could've punished fairly easily because Lee requires a lot of careful placement and ability use. With Vlad a lot of times it's just a point of "Does he have enough stats to out duel/tank me and push enough buttons." Granted Vlad isn't the ONLY champ with this issue, but he definitely feels like his skill ceiling being lower makes him feel a lot more frustrating to fight.
Idk about your Lee Sin example man I feel like it's been a long time seen I've seen a proper insec, most Lees just w up to a squishy, eqrq for the kill and walk away.

I am 100% sure you could climb probably an entire division or more if you played things that are meta. Don't pin it on your teammates if you are the biggest reason you aren't climbing. Again, you missed the point of my post. It's not about me. I've climbed out of Bronze/Silver several times. It's about the Bronze mentality. Based on your other posts, you seem to resort to ad hominem attacks and shalllow attempts at rank shaming rather than actually debate the points being made so there is no point is discussing this further with you. Good day.
Ad hominem attacks are justified when users such as OP use their fake ranks as justification for their arguments. It's like if a clerk told you vaccines cause autism and then say "trust me, I'm a doctor". Of course, you reply, "no, you're not a doctor, you're a clerk, and vaccines don't cause autism". Nothing to do with rank shaming at all. Clearly there was a misunderstanding, you said > This isn't about me. and I continued on to talk about how > That isn't my point. A misunderstanding doesn't warrant an assumption that I don't "debate the points being made", it just means I thought the point was something different

I get that you want to have fun and all but if you wanted to win and climb you wouldn't be playing this stuff in ranked I'm flattered you looked me up and thanks for illustrating exactly what I'm talking about. I'm sure you'd have a problem with AD Malz Jungle too but people get to play what they want and you really don't have a clue as to what works and what doesn't. And I personally don't care what other people think about what I play. I'm used to it and I know they'll feed while I carry. This isn't about me. It's about the mentality of people in Bronze/Silver and they way they behave. The majority of the time they're not talking about the Thresh Top cause I'm 4/0, they're talking aoout Kalista bot lane who is "OH MY GOD, BOTRK FIRST? WHAT IS SHE DOING?!!!" while they are Mid and 0/6. Any excuse to not focus on how they're playing and to focus on someone else.
That's not my point. I think it's fine for you to play whatever you like, in whatever queue you like. And respect for doing that, in fact. : Hey, add me. I made this account to get out of bronze, but... got Iron instead. I'd love to learn how to git gud from a level headed high elo friend. I'm not toxic, but I am a M7 spammer. 4 years bronze, now Iron(almost out)
the original poster is a liar. No way anyone that averages 3 cs per min is plat
: Yeah it's really a crapshoot. You get people who just don't give a shit at all and think they know what's best to win the game. Everyone has this "Bronze" knowledge thing going on where they'll tell each other "Oh your build is wrong" or "That doesn't work" and then blame someone else when they feed their ass off and lose the game. No accountability whatsoever. Sometimes I get frustrated cause you have to carry these people and honestly they do nothing to deserve to win the game. They talk shit to their teammates and the other team the whole game and then keep feeding like they're a master chef. You can definitely climb out of this elo but you either have to be much better than your opposition or get lucky with decent teammates.
Then don't play AD Thresh? I get that you want to have fun and all but if you wanted to win and climb you wouldn't be playing this stuff in ranked
: quality of games in bronze/silver elo
You average 3.9 cs per min on your main, with an overall wr of 47% in bronze, I'm pretty cynical about this post. You are not a plat level player. No plat player gets 2.3 cs per min a game unless they literally rage quit. I've smurfed a lot to play with friends, it is not that hard to win 90%+ of games in bronze even on an offrole (I am a mid/supp main, but could carry in bronze as ADC Top or Jungle easily) It really shows when you say it gets better when you climb. No, it doesn't. Everyone has inflated ego starting in plat and although I haven't played with anyone higher than dia 3, the lower ranks of diamond are also super toxic. I've never seen "hardstuck" thrown around this much. I don't even understand the point of this post, it is just full of plastic superiority. Go back to grinding Bronze 1 games mate.
: Silver elo player here. Is it true plat+ people don't really use chat other than to actually talk about in game strategies? (Sounds kinda dull, I'm the annoying punny person in chat most of the time)
Plat is toxic as fuck, never seen as many inting players flame others for lost games. Also, "hardstuck" gets thrown around a lot and there's a lot of anger against diamond 5 (now diamond 4) players that were literally boosted there. Everyone thinks they are better than they really are just because they are better than most players in the game. It's fucking awful

: http://na.op.gg/statistics/champion/ https://imgur.com/a/tMZxxqE in case op.gg doesn't load for whatever reason. I'm gonna choose to be highly skeptical of the site that is placing Ezreal below Viktor in it's tier list for bot laners. Hell, I just took a look and saw Galio at their "Diamond tier" of top laners with a 55% win rate. I refreshed the page it and suddenly he's in silver with a 44%? They can't even make up their own mind with their stats.
Riot has confirmed lolalytics is the best third party site for lol stats op.gg is good but it only takes data from a small sample size

You are mixing up marksman/AD carry with hyper carry. The hyper carry is a labelled subclass of marksmen/AD carries. hyper- |ˈhʌɪpə| prefix 1 over; beyond; above: hypersonic. • excessively; above normal: hyperthyroidism. The label isn't in game, but we call them "hypercarries" meaning that they embody the features of ad carries (the original name of 'marksmen') to an extreme exent. These features are: poor early game, strong late game, ranged and auto attack based. The champions I listed are *hyper* carries because they double down on these features. All of them have *significantly* weaker early games and *significantly* stronger late games than the other AD carries, which includes Lucian, who has a stronger early game than most and a weaker late game than most. So no, Lucian is not a hyper carry, just a regular AD carry.
: Wait, the rework feels dumbed down to you? It's anything but to me. Passive requires interaction, Q is a skill shot (easy to land, but not as easy a targeted Q) which only slows at the edge, W doesn't have a center (go left or right?) and requires constant de/restealthing to optimize, E has so many factors to consider (easy short dash vs long skill shot dash, use right away or save to follow a mobility spell), and her ult is now a skill shot with a time lockout on the second charge. Old Akali was only targeted spells or stats, pretty much the definition of a stat check.
I agree, old Akali was press R and mash q/e

: Gold, what needs to be nerfed is the gold income that makes early games so explosive.
Eh burst also needs nerfs, everything is front loaded compared to before DFG (back loaded) was removed and has been replaced by duskblade and luden's (front loaded)

Tell you what, Renekton isnt weak lategame, his focus changes from oneshotting to tanking. lucian is a strong early game bully who transform into a late game hyper carry, renekton doesn't do that because he's melee so come mid/late game he has to build tanky or be fodderized
I'm sorry but this is a dumb comment lucian doesn't come close to a "late game hyper carry" Here's a list of hypercarries for reference: Vayne Tristana Kog Maw Jinx Twitch Kai'Sa Lucian doesn't come close to the amount of late game dps these champions offer

: No, I'm not even talking about the option because I have it turned on. [See for yourself](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/364029396698529792/537312266329260032/autoattack_option.jpg). It doesn't say automatically automatic attack or whatever you thought it does. And the main reason I have it turned on is because having it turned off seems useless with how low of a range everything has in this game and how high attack speed rates are. In Dota 2, turning it off is very advantageous depending on the character you're playing, as the heroes have significantly higher moments of vulnerability when committing. Also, denying can become easier in Dota 2 depending on the character you're playing(especially if melee) which isn't something that's done the same way in LoL. Maybe turning it off would suit a champion like Vayne, where if she accidentally switched targets she might lose her Silver Bolt targeting which is pretty important, but on someone like Gnar, it probably makes very little difference one way or the other, and for a great many champs it seems like at least to me, that leaving the option on is for the best. But maybe it's just because my ping is really high to LoL NA server, I play with ping around 60 ms but if I had below 30 ms, I might consider turning the option off. Honestly, I'd be curious to know which if any champions are those that players think play better with it turned off. I think I'm going to try Jhin with it turned off because sometimes I waste the fourth shot since his attack speed increases with his level. Anyway, the point is that the hotkey for attacking says 'attack move' and 'attack only' and nowhere does it say auto attack except for that option that when turned off prevents champions from automatically defending themselves.
Mate it's what the community called it, get over it. If someone says auto attack, you know what they mean and that's all that matters. You're reading too much into whether you should turn it on or off. Having it on gives you a slight advantage in bot lane especially because you can use it to check if a bush is warded. Having it off is nice for more control over your champ.

Meddler (NA)
: Initial difference was set that large since we had concerns around how dominant, and passifying, defensive stats can be really early on. In retrospect we skewed too far in the other direction though. We're only buffing Armor a little because, looking at stats for Rune Stat performance, it's already in a higher performing spot than MR, fairly comparable to other options already. Do want to use this as one of the places to chip damage down, but don't want to remove choice from those slots. Edit: Oh, forgot to add - we also don't treat the gold efficiency values as uniform throughout the game. Some stats change significantly in value by game phase. HP5 is probably the strongest example of that, with each point being the equivalent of more other stats worth of gold early in the game than it would be later.
Hi Meddler I just want to let you know that as someone who has been very frustrated by balance decisions in the last season or two, I really appreciate all of these changes and I feel like you guys are doing a great job identifying problems this preseason and moving forward with solutions. I have a question about Kha Zix, as it seems there isn't any work planned for him in the next couple of patches. What's internal consensus on the bug? Can we expect to see any sort of revert to what many feel were somewhat unnecessary worlds buffs?
: Ok, but what I am saying is that even if they are trying to cater towards the player they are not. Junglers have too much impact, gank too much, and don't need to farm their jungle to stay on par with level because they leach exp. That is what the community complains about. Riots changes will cause junglers to gank more and farm less because their camps are worth less than they already are.
In my opinion this change is a step in the right direction as jungle ganks will be _less effective_. I think it's ridiculous that junglers can arrive on even footing in solo lanes, or even worse they can arrive at bot 1-2 levels above the laners. There's not much counterplay to getting ganked by a level 6 jungler when you are level 4/5 It doesn't solve the issue of level 2 ganks and early game orientated junglers dominating, but it reduces the ability of the junglers to keep up with the solo laners which should never have been the case

I once had a Yi say "stfu" every time someone told him gj or wp I told Vel Koz to "stfu" when he flamed my support who was playing very well and did not deserve it How can you say context doesn't affect the situation? In fact in your next line you are taking my words out of context - I am asking where the line is drawn, since some people get away with much more.
: Constantly asking for reports and spamming the chat. Two things worthy of a ban. You should hav just muted the Gragas, played the game and reported him post game since 1 report has the same weight as 9, and vise/versa, in the current system
Yes I should have done all those things, and I think that's how I'll play it in the future, but imo this isn't close to chat spam and I don't know about your definition of 'constantly', I asked 3 times over a period of something like 15 minutes
