no, let people-like nubric flood the game, because off-meta is not reportable. They don't care whether other player feel comfortable or not. When people support Nubric, they just only wanted to bash Nb3, but they forgot that what nubric did was also so bad, I could see mid irelia was so uncomfortable, sivir as well, trying to communicate yet failed because nubric decided to be silent.

Back at the time where masteries and old runes were still existing. I was reading an article on why Riot decided to nerf double-edge sword, and what caused me to remember that there was a statement made by Riot saying that, "Masteries and runes are not supposed to significantly impact the game, rather to provide little tools for champions to be fun and interactive". If you remember, old Riot balance team did not like damages and nerfed a lot of damages from masteries and champions. Early laning phrase were longer and snowballing were too slow. But after the end of the season 7, masteries and old runes were removed and implement new rune system "Rune Reforge", and the damage from this new system became so high. At this point, the internal management of balancing department most likely had something huge happened. Who knows? tldr: They should bring down some damages from Rune reforge, and increase the item builds and balance the item choices. From my experience of playing other MOBAs, League item build need to be more variable, lesser stats but with better utility to decrease toxicity abuse from RUNES. Also need to get rid of absolute true damage as much as possible from Rune. Bring in double-edge sword effects on items, having high AD but sacrifice cooldown reduction on item, or having high ARMOR but lower damage output -10% on an item etc.

this post is too late, back at the time when season 8 just began, everyone here said the same as well, but all of them get ignored. I remember my first game when new rune released, I played Zed, and I just simply storm against enemy mastery 5 champion despite of me never use Zed before. Rune reforge is a mistake, old balance team's philosophy once said that rune/masteries should not be huge impact to the game.

1. Their client code has been messed up hard unless skilled/experience programmer willing to help in their office. 2. Old client design team not working at Riot anymore, left internships/newbies handling buggy client. 3. Refused to fix it because it provides zero benefits/profits to their time/effort. Those are probably reasons why Riot didn't take any action till now.
: I think the main problem, is that its too easy for enchanters to protect their adcs through shields and heals. If more of them needed to actually hit skill shots (not necessarily on enemies, but on the adc for instance) it'd make them feel a lot more fair. Imagine if you could miss a janna shield, or soraka heal, etc. It'd allow you to put a lot more power into their supporting capabilities, instead of just making them bad at everything
Then you should never complain one shot meta , because that's what you like and want assassin to kill you within 0.1 seconds without those protection from enchantress.

LAN has a lot of serious players because the game is not popular in that server, so most of the player who are staying/playing in this server are either hardcore players, passionate league players. NA has a very big number of playerbase, the game is very popular, anyone will be interested and play due to it being popular in highschool and college. So there will be a huge chance of low aged groups flooding the game. You know some kids are just not going to be teamwork with other no matter how you told them.

He could be one of the reason why the same rank but different skill level player looks so bad. Smurfing causes a lot of problems. If one game with 9 silver/gold players while one is challanger/diamond smurf, what would it happen if it happens every 2-3 games. Riot policy allowed this.

An item, shouldn't have so much benefits to one. If one item needs to be offensive, give him offensive, if one needs defensive stats, so be it. I don't really like current GA which provides an ability to respawn upon death while providing raw attack damage. It's like an item having good defensive + offensive which makes them tanky + more damage with one free reborn effect. They do not have judgement and creative thinking in order to create more diversity/counterpoint/balance between items and items. Riot's balance team's head, please stop giving too much stat into one item so people wouldn't buy one or two items and be godlike. Give an item some double edge sword effect, if they want to take offensive, they have to sacrifice defensive stats. This should be the way of how item balance, not how to statroll onto enemy face.

Dota2 doesn't need to have any special animations for skins. I take Dota2 as example showing how the client should work. Not asking you to take their skin for comparison of quality. Also, people get scammed because of themselves willing to trust some scam source, not because of Dota2. By shop experience I mean they differentiate the custom skin into specific type of categories very neatly, having features to preview skins, and test the skins by players. Meanwhile in League's skin shop? Simple ping functions, simple skin preview, no such "bugsplat" crash occur, are very basic things that dota2 did it. What about League of Legends? are you telling me that Riot's client design team actually put their effort into fixing the client yet? It's been two years, and I see nothing fix aside from buggy loot page, unresponsive clicks and high consume of CPU usage.

They lost the old balance team philosophy and slowly gone wrong. An item should not have so much stats to begin with especially early game. How can a DPS item having CDR and AD all together, if they want CDR, they should sacrifice some DAMAGES. If they just want pump damages, they should not have CDR at the same time with one item. The game is beyond toxic in stat fights which causes a lot of troubles.

This post genuinely clapped those disliker guy's cheek so loudly. I wholeheartedly support this post because it makes senses in business perspective. As League of legends' only income are by selling Skins and events. For those who didn't actually work on department like graphic design, put yourself in their shoes and think. Being in Art department is sure tough, because when tops asked to create for the most profitable skins for their company, the staffs/members have to be forced to work by their(Manager) instructions, otherwise they can't feed the whole company. Yes, having different champions skins is indeed the best, but when that skin only sells below expectation, who gonna be responsible for it? Playerbase? Or Design team? Stand at Riot game 's perspective, it is Design team's fault for not making more money. Give some sympathy and provide your idea with your drawing, like the rabbit tahn kench fan skin idea were so great. Otherwise stop bombarding Riot's design team, it's their Top, Tencent who wanted that, not Riot.

I agree most of your points but one thing that I can't bear with when you mentioned about Dota2. I am both League of Legends(played since season 6)/Dota2 (3000hours) players. Did you know that Dota2 actually has much healthier environment gameplay compared to League of Legends? Reason: 1. Hero Counters each other which makes the competitive scene always having different team composition while most of League competitive games just repeat the same op meta abuse champions in order to win. 2. Item variation creates a lot of outplay interactions that actually reduce some uncounterable OP skills, champions like vayne/yasuo/riven surely get countered by most of the items from Dota2 which is why it is hard for everyone (not just smashing keyboards with face roll). Dota2's developers put their effort into early game and create a lot of useful tools for support mains to be useful. 3. Numbers of Playerbase/fanbase of Dota2 is always stable no matter what happened because their developer "Icefrog" always keep Hardcore player's mechanism without introducing too much shit like true damage/blatant % damage to cater newbies. 4. Despite the gap of playerbase between Dota2 and League of Legends, Dota2 put their heart and soul to create the best gaming experience for both high/low elo ranked player. You won't see a match of 20 minutes without kills in competitive scene. 5. Dota2's client is so useful/convenient to browse/search without crashing(or page not found shit) while looking at our league of legends game client full of bugs and slow down the game frame rate. Reason I started playing League of Legends was because League of Legends used to be the same strategical as Dota2, with more friendly environment for support mains here. But now I feel so shit to play as support main in league of legends because of damage creep.

I appreciate the effort of the skin & art team , When they try to create a skin for a low play rated champions, they put less effort Because they want their monthly KPI to be higher if it didn't reach the result that their boss wanted, they will be blamed/decrease salaries. They could save a better theme for more better champions. But when some guys keep begging for ivern skin, that's what happened. Who gonna buy the skin even if it's the best skin in Ivern? it's their main ONLY.How could that be acceptable for a product being sold in 0.1-1% playerbase (not to mention if out of 100 players only 5 gonna buy that skin, lol so their month salary will be that much, didn't count to pay other department as well). The answer is so simple. Stand at the point of customer/us, it is a game for us to play, we care the balance because we are the players. But stand at the point of Riot, it is business, it is a popular product that sells skins chromas among the consumer, so they care how much the profit will be depending on how popular a champion is. (Especially bunch of them are just kids are playing this game, they want cool stuffs, powerful character, enjoy slaughtering.) It applies to the most of the popular champions, Yasuo, Vayne, etc cancerous champions yet received a single hammer nerf. Let me take an example of recent Yorick nerf, yes it was needed because of how op heal(Q when minion hp below 50%),and how strong 3 little minions he summon +ignite in early game. But the time taken to nerf him was almost so fast when discover the issue. Do you see how fair/unfair to us, the playerbase? What do you expect from Riot to nerf cash grabbing products? The top of the Riot management is Tencent, their boss. Even if some Riots do feel those champions are overpowered, they couldn't do anything, they couldn't speak up, because of how China has so big base of audiences and players that blindly pops money into this game for flashy skins. We pay moneys to Riot, and Riot use the money and rewards the most best players in seasonal tournaments. What matters? we players that supports the game wholeheartedly? no, it is the pro players that take attentions from the world are way more important because they attract more customers more profit.

Dota2 has long term CC, but they created items in order to help players getting out of situations, there are so many, many of them which had creative ideas and interactive gameplay. The only bad thing is that item costs were too high. When I look back at League of legends, it has only Zhonya, being the most useful things in this game, and other life saving items are so crappy. You cannot hope for anything, except having a super intuition support that shields you, peels you, tanks for you. That's it.

admit it, the rune reforge is just a massive failure of rework. The old balance team used to have balancing philosophy where they said old rune/masteries wasn't meant to be impactful to the game but still bring interesting interaction of your champions. So Crowd Control class champions had room to utilise their skill without bursting the shit out of everything. But now, no matter what champions you use, as long as 'x' managed to abuse 'y' rune, it can be so overpowered. Let's take a fine example: Riven Without this conquer rune, she was still the old Riven. I still did not get the idea why they wanted to put life-steal effects on keystone (sustains). Old days yes, people abused thunderlords, but it did not burst a person within one seconds, it was a trading tools for harrassing (we had defensive runes) Today, people use the so called electrocute, almost similar effect, but if one hit you, your HP will be down so quickly that you get surprised.

In my personal opinion, I think all of the late game carry should be designed in that way. However, tons of "late game" champions tend to do so much better lately, bruiser fighters etc which also makes Kayle now herself looks bad.

Other champions could stack armor against her.
Indeed that she did not reach her 45 % cdr at that level, but a single times of combo e+w, of every 10-20 seconds, can cause a significant of gold loss everytimes she e (shield herself) + w (cancelled animation) works too well to be able to deny enemy farm while blocking small amount of damage. (if you count that she freeze her lane, then it is game over)

because this is the season where most people troll the most because of the new positional rank system. Moreover, it causes more and more smurfs from all hell of levels (iron booster, diamond smurf) to flood silver-gold elo. The punishment is insignificant and ineffective when someone plays smurf account to boost/to bully the player that ranked below them.
