It took me the same ammount of time to kill someone either way. : Well I suppose it depends on the other members of Xayah's team. Did her team have a Warwick and an Illaoi? Because in that situation Thornmail probably would have been better. For me Randuin's is usually the go-to item if the enemy team has Yasuo, Tryndamere, or Ashe as it tends to have the biggest impact on them. Well, that's what I do if the rest of their team's carrying potential doesn't have any form of healing.

Well, that's what I do if the rest of their team's carrying potential doesn't have any form of healing. Even then, Yasuo and Tryndamere build with Conqueror and all 3 of them can and most likely will build BT/BotRK and LW against Randuin's, which will make them pretty hard to kill unless they are chain cc'd or way behind. Meanwhile Thornmail will cockblock them harder.

I became very aware of this issue some time ago and I do a lot of "testing", such as flipping the image horizontally (a lot of issues will pop out if you do that, lol), or start seeking the most outstanding mistakes every time you get back to work after a long break. It works for me unless I'm too tired to think properly. Also regarding Talon's looks, well... He's mostly like a really fit bishounen anyway, just with broader shoulders and a more adult face. He's supposed to be flexible and swift, not muscled and heavy. Kind of like a cat. And male cats are not any less manly for being good at parkour and bad at heavy lifting.

That's a pretty cool champion idea. Very detailed abilities and stats even. I think her W's reduced damage on champions is unclear, or at least I didn't understand. And the niche of a demonic seductress is already filled by Evelynn. Other than that, she looks pretty fine, and balanced.

: Kai'sa's build paths
I guess it depends on the game. AP is better for poke, short trades/skirmishes and assasinations while AD is better at teamfights and objectives. If the enemy team has a lot of assasins, divers and squishy unprotected carries, I'd go AP. If they have tanks, bruisers and you have a peel support, I'd go AD. I'm not sure I got it right but that's my opinion.
Elam (NA)
: I need some help/solo queue advise
As an ADC main, I can say that, to me, the most effective way to deal with an assasin is to ward properly and avoid any kind of fight unless you know their position. You also need to keep track of their cooldowns. If you see them use their mobility to react to an ally's engage, or attack another teammate because you are purposefuly way beyond reach, that's the signal to go in and start dishing out some damage until they get their cooldowns back. It's all about map awareness and trying to guess what the assasin will try to do to get to you. Why is this in concepts and creations anyway?
: Champion concept I made while at work: Shuriman assassin
Passive feels out of place, like it should be in his ultimate due to not doing anything useful (effects start AFTER you do your rotation) and only truly has an impact when casting R. W base damage seems kinda high and Q's cooldowm should be balanced out with a moderately high mana cost. E seems too generic. New champions released by RIOT have a unique feature or gimmick that gives the champion some personality in game, but I don't see that here. I'd take the idea of the sandstorm from R and expand on that... Make him the only assasin in the game that uses sandstorms to setup his kills and scape.

: Even at the risk of increased dodges and whatnot, I feel like being able to see and react to the enemy team's composition is an important feature. To that end, I don't think rerolls are productive. Either the Bench exists and both teams just keep swapping around until the timer runs out, or the Bench doesn't exist and rerolls go back to being frustrating gambles. A better alternative would be to use the standard Draft format (i.e. sequential picks, visible teamcomps). However, rather than the full champion roster, each player is only offered a choice of three random champs of similar power to choose from. No Bench, no rerolls. Picking from three champs is effectively the same as having two rerolls, without enabling Musical Chairs. Furthermore, the sequential picks add another skilltest via drafting while simultaneously providing players an earlier opportunity to respond/adapt to ARAM's randomness.
I like this draft idea so much that I'd like to see it in normal ARAM games too.

: Amari [Versions 1-4] (Champion Concepts)
Wow. Okay so straight to the point to make this post less massive. My opinion: 1. Animated Armor: -Interesting passive. However, the choice doesn't seem to have any impact on the other abilities, which feels weird to me. With sword and shield she's like a Master Yi that trades damage for durability and cc, which may be fine, but going bow makes her feel like... Exactly the same with more aa range. -Q cooldown too low I think, unless it starts after the bonus expires, and not on cast. -W bonus damage on aa procs with every aa while she's shielded? Just to clarify. -R is extremely overpowered. It needs to have the passive disabled if the ability is on cooldown, at the very least. That way it essentially still becomes a more powerful Ekko R, so it may need more nerfs. Otherwise you need to take a lot of power budget out of the other abilities or even stats. HotS has a character that has a similar ability but trades 3/4 of a champion's usual power level for it. -All abilities scale off attack speed and health, but the kit doesn't synergize well with {{item:3078}}. Do you have an idea about the build? 2. Rider of Runeterra: -Passive is stat-checky. Kinda boring. -Q says barrage but the description makes it look like a single projectile that impacts 1 target. It's kinda confusing. -I really hope W is not global. XD -I am confused at how exactly her R works. Is it similar to Gangplank's? Overall she feels like another Sejuani in a way. I don't think I quite like this version. 3. Spirit of the Ocean: -As I understand the passive: Staff bubbles work like Ahri's W, and bow gives her essentially 80% more aa damage against isolated targets? The bow passive is pretty OP unless the extra arrows work exactly the way runaan works. -500 radius is very massive for the damage and cc it has. And the CC is pretty OP since it's almost like an instant easy to land root that lasts 4 to 6 seconds. Lmao. I'd just lower the radius and make it a tamer slow that drags enemies to the center when the effect finishes. -I don't really understand how W works, but nothing seems to stand out. -E is a really cool ability. I like it. This one has an interesting E, but the rest of the kit does not impress me. Passive has the same issues as version 1. 4. Doctor: -3.0 a.s. from min 0 is incredibly easy to abuse with on-hit builds and effects. Not sure if really OP or just really hard to balance. {{item:3153}} {{item:3124}} {{item:3042}} {{item:3115}} -Amari's Q really should last a limited ammount of time. But I like the idea. -Amari's W: I don't get why put a 47 use limit. Lol. Just make it stack charges and put a somwhat long recharge time. -Amari's E is really interesting. I like the idea of a spammable unconditional dash that can get you killed if abused. I'd change it so it always costs 15% current HP, doesn't stack AD because well... By min 20 it means that you can reach between ~600 and ~1400 AD. It kind of cancels out her passive reduced damage meant to balance out her op attsp and, more importantly, {{item:3057}} exists. Also Doc's E radius is nutty. XD not sure why it's so overwhelmingly big. I don't know what to think of this version. It is essentially a transform champ such as nida, gameplay wise. An adc with sustained targeted or aoe damage, sustain, cc, free cleanses, dashes, and vision. It sounds like she can support herself lol. Interesting concept tho. I voted the last version because it's the one that feels more unique and interesting to me. I vote the concept of olaying two champions at once that are adc and support at the same time.
: New Champion Idea: Vronto
I always liked the idea of a champion that can combo their abilities to create new abilities, and I also like champions that can provide vision and I think league still lacks a support champion with vision as the central mechanic. That's what I like about this idea. However, I don't understand the wording for some of the combos, as well as how you can actually combo the abilities without just casting them separatedly in rapid succesion by mistake (I'm unfamiliar with Dota2). I also really despise Thundurus. LOL And... His base abilities just seem like a bunch of random spells put together. Like there's no actual cohesion. Idk

: What does it hurt to lose a normal game?
There's nothing harmful about losing games (I don't make distinctions between normal and ranked because I don't care) but playing at an unfair numeric disadvantage is not fun. Getting curbstomped makes me feel like I'm losing my time because I get bored. Plain and simple. Coming back from such a position is very unlikely and, even if I would certainly know that we were going to win such a game after 20 minutes of turret hugging and constant 4-man ganks, I'd still say "no, thanks".
: My Idea for adding Teemo to the next pool of TFT
I think it's pretty clear he has to be a Yordle and very probably a Ranger. I don't think he should be able to have both the mushrooms AND the blind. That's two abilities and TFT has room for only 1. Unless you do like the Robot and Exile origins and give him a unique extra origin with one of the two abilities, and put the other into the actual kit. But that would be unimaginative and kinda OP. Here's my take on TFT Teemo: Idea 1 [Basic skin]: His ability is somewhat spammable and consists in throwing shrooms at empty tiles near low health enemies that explode when stepped on. They poison enemies, damaging them over time. Then Teemo will attack the poisoned enemy with the lowest health and gain a big ammount of attack speed until the poison wears off. His basic attacks against poisoned enemies cannot miss or be dodged. Origin: Yordle. Class: Ranger. Tier 4/5. Idea 2 [Omega Squad skin]: Basic attacks deal bonus spell damage that can also crit. Origin: Yordle. Classes: Ranger and Assasin. Tier 3. Idea 3 [Demon skin]: The same shrooms from Idea 1, but instead of a burst of attack speed and a switch of target, they briefly disarm, deal more damage and cost more mana. Origin: Demon and Yordle. Class: Sorcerer. Tier 4. I also like Teemo a lot and would love to see him get added to the TFT roster. RITO PLZ
: I always remake in ranked games because it actually matters but usually don't in normals to give the person a chance. Nobody likes leaverbuster and I give the benefit of the doubt that they are just having issues getting into game and are actively trying to get back in.
So, if you remake and don't give the player a chance to reconnect, the leaverbuster will bust them? Well… It makes sense. I guess you have a point since, more often than not, players that start the game AFK usually come back later on. But I mean, It could be anything and they could also not come back. I wouldn't take the chance myself. I don't think it's not worth it.
: The fact that the game lasted for 38 minutes means that you could have won. Everyone can easily be full build by 38 minutes meaning that scores no longer matter. One mistake by the enemy can lead to a victory even in a 4v5 because death timers are long enough to be punished by multiple towers falling.

Everyone can easily be full build by 38 minutes meaning that scores no longer matter. One mistake by the enemy can lead to a victory even in a 4v5 because death timers are long enough to be punished by multiple towers falling. That's true, but wether it was winnable or not at minute 30+ is beyond the point. When the game starts no one has any clue about wether they'll be able to 4v5 or not. But the chances are you won't. By saying no to a remake you're either taking the game hostage, or not paying even a minimal ammount of attention to what's happening, or being delusionally optimistic.
: Glacial is a cancer to TFT and should be removed
It would be great if there was a possibility to counter cc somehow. Like adding tenacity to knights and/or brawlers or something like that, so yo can at least do something against hard cc comps. Maybe Yordles would be great against Glacials. Have you tried it? Though to be honest Glacials have Braum and Lissandra, two of the most useless units in the mode, and I guess you need a pretty fed ashe with tons of attack speed to make it truly work, otherwise Glacials will only stall the fight a little before being defeated anyway. I think there are a lot of things that can be done before deleting the origin entirely. They don't feel good to play against but it's not that bad either.
: How do I deal with tilted teammates?
I usually ask them to stop repeatedly, nicely at first, and threaten them with reports. OR... If you're the carry or at least a valuable member of the team that's doing ok, you can always threaten them with inting. I once told a flamer "If you don't shut up right now, I'll just AFK walk right into their fountain repeatedly until you stop. Do you want to play a 3v7? I don't care if I'm 10/1, I'll do it. I don't mind losing this game." He stopped. It won't work with everyone, and not in every game, but if you sound serious enough and they actually care about winning, they'll at least think twice about typing anything. I don't advice actually inting if they get bold and cocky after threatening with that, though. Good people would just laugh their failed bluff out, mute the guy and maybe try to type some positivity into your most reasonable teammates. ~~I'd just keep my word and int hard, though. I'm a weak asshole.~~

Soraka's E does damage to enemy champions.
: If these champions were designed today, their kits might look like this...
{{champion:17}} Passive - Akali-level invisibility. He now becomes invisible after 0.5s if he's in a bush, even in combat. Q - Also reduces target's vision range and obscures their map. W - Leaving a bush also passively gives you the same MS boost the active does. R - Shrooms provide more vision. Upon exploding, they leave a long-lasting cloud on the area that poisons and slows any enemy that touches it. Poison deals way less DPS, but ignores shields and lasts until leaving the area. If the opponent stays in the cloud for 1.5 or so seconds, they become gravely poisoned, making the posion to not wear off until they heal to full HP. While gravely poisoned, champions are grounded and the DPS gets worse as time passes. Am I doing this right? {{champion:18}}

The only real difference is that back then, it wasn't clear that riot was intentionally creeping damage, mobility, and increasing the kit budget, all to change the pacing of the game. : It's because it's no longer just ADC getting 1 shot, it's everyone.
Ok, but… Since when? Due to what? I mean, I have been paying attention to patch notes pretty regularly, and haven't noticed any "Champions now do 15% more damage" change. Changes that I did notice: - Both enchanters and tanks with overall less utility and more damage (Thinking about {{champion:40}} {{champion:516}}, as examples). - Key recent additions and/or reworks: {{champion:555}} {{champion:39}} {{champion:84}}. Two of them are Assasins, so they can easily one-shot and have easy escapes, and the other is... an hyper-mobile bruiser with a ranged multi-stun that also destroys everything and everyone besides the occasional counter-pick, if she's not fed. All of them super hard to peel, with loads of damage, two of which are specially good against shields, two of which can towerdive for breakfast, all of them having access to either defense-stats penetration, hybrid damage or both. So, they further decrease the efectiveness of both tanks and enchanters despite being assasins and divers. And the things that breaks them the most is not damage, but their insane mobility. Other one-shot recent additions: Evelynn, Assasin Kayn, Zoe and the latest, Neeko. - Runes Reforged: This may be the biggest player in the damage creep problem. Even Resolve has more offensive than defensive options now. Then there's Dark Harvest, Electrocute, Conqueror… - {{item:3095}} {{item:3147}} > {{item:3031}} {{item:3085}} // {{item:3135}} > {{item:3504}} To me, all of this just looks like a burst meta. Anything with good CC or mobilty that has a lot of burst and outplay potential has become incredibly popular from what I can see. And I think the reason for that is recent new champs and reworks getting better at mobility and burst, as well as enchanters and crit adc's being in a really bad spot (due to reasons stated above) and tanks being better at damage and engages than at tanking or protecting. I may be super wrong tho.

My account plays at around a high gold/plat mmr in normals.... I highly doubt they're new. It should be especially enforced in ranked games.
Rank doesn't mean everything... I've beaten people with plat and gold accounts and I am silver 4 trash. Even in 1v1s. Not saying it happens all the time, but it happens. Some of them even feed in my games more than any other bronze in my team. And that doesn't mean they are automatically inting. Also, I was matched with a gold 1 player, who was in promo to plat… In my very first ranked game ever. That stuff also happens.
: League of Legends in a anime
Animated series / movie? Yes please. Anime style? God no.
: Can it be something like The Last Airbender style? Some people don't enjoy the anime style and TLA style is imo the best I've seen for both anime fans and animation fans
Something along the lines of Legend of Korra would be better (regarding animation), I think.
: We should blmega buff yasuo and also make him gay
There's nothing about Yasuo hinting he's _not_ gay tho. As far as I know. {{sticker:vlad-salute}}
: A few thoughts on Neeko from a first impression
Okay, but... I don't know why everyone is comparing her to Zoe that much. -Zoe is a "by the book" Disney character. Neeko _could_ fit in a Disney universe, but not as much. -Zoe is designed to be a loud, annoying, stereotypical teenage girl that does and says young girl things. Neeko is nothing like that. -Gameplay wise, Zoe isn't just annoying. She's rage-inducing. I can see Neko being more or less annoying (we'll see) but that level of toxicity is a realm that belongs entirely to Queen Zoe and King Pyke. To me, they feel nothing alike. Zoe is obnoxious and Neeko is funny. The only thing they have in common is that they both look younger than 20 and are colorful.

: Very innovative champion copy of Rubik's from Dota or Morrigan from SMITE. DAMN this champion is already gonna be boring to play against. Another combination of LB and Shaco.
Shaco's clone is slightly annoying. Getting untargettable on cast and the clone being able to attack (making it harder to guess who's who) and leaving invisible fear boxes behind while the champ can also blink to invisibility and place more boxes everywhere is what makes Shaco truly annoying to deal with. Also, I don't find anything that annoying about LB's passive. As long as you predict it (which you always should) It's going to be okay. Her reworked ultimate clone was far more annoying and tricky. It's all her dashing and blinking, and easy to land high burst, what makes her completely annoying to deal with.
: Honestly, as a gay male, representation in the media is really important. However, having characters whose entire themstic is just focused on them being gay is really demoralising and unrealistic. Honestly, how they handled Neeko is exactly what I like to see. A character, that they've already designed and given a personality to and just has their sexuality tagged on as an afterthought really feels like the right step in normalising homosexuality.
Adding it as an afterthought is like... halfway towards the solution. After all, even if homosexuality is not everything you are, it was there probably since the very beginning of your existence and therefore it helped mold your personality, along with everything else you were born to be. Homosexuality in characters, if written well, is something that comes up in early development, and can even influence in the story/lore to some degree, but at the same time doesn't completely define the characterization or the narrative. Like in real life, some characters should be more influenced by it than others. But yeah, adding it as a cool thing to make her different after the fact is definitely better than doing another stupid cliché. That being said, about Neeko specifically, I don't know if they added that trait to her once they were almost done with her design and lore, or if it came out way earlier in development. It's hard to tell, which probably means it has been done well. Also, what if Neeko was the exact same character, but a (gay) male instead? I think I would have liked that even more, because you would know he was gay just by looking at him, seeing him move funny, kinda girly, all colorful… But not really acting overly sassy or making a big deal about it. He'd be just like that and he'd be more concerned about sho'ma, curiosity and "not being me" jokes than actually paying attention to boys or gender. That would have been a way bolder move at least. IDK

Good. > The fault on that is probably on people like me, who keeps it shut when people stop listening, plays their game and reports every bad behavior. > And by every, what I actually mean is _every_. > When someone gets punished, there's a 95% chance that they deserve it. Everything else is just a misunderstanding and has nothing to do with a business model. > > Also what the f is soft inting? Why do you people keep using the word 'inting' for _everything_ that involves dying ingame? Things like constantly picking out awful fights when it should be incredibly obvious you stand virtually no chance of winning them. Forcing objectives despite a full enemy team collapsing on you and committing to them anyway, Any nuance of common sense would allow a player to avoid such situations yet they continue to do it, only because it looks more defendable vs simply running it down mid.
That's just someone who has no idea on how to play LoL. Sooo, yup, not inting. But it doesn't matter. Even flaming an actual inter is pathetic. Because: 1. Flame, insults and salt doesn't punish them. They shrug off. 2. It's annoying and it messes with the morale and focus of everyone else, lowering the already low enough chances of winning. 3. Sometimes people spend more time typing than actually playing, which again only makes things worse. That is, assuming you don't _just_ "call them out". Which you probably don't. As I see it, that kind of behavior just leads you to one thing: Feeding the trolls, and contributing to the breeding of even more trolls.
: Anyone here put off by Riot's current art decisions?
This is why they came up with the Vastaya idea, I guess. So they could get away with making champions like these (a chameleon) more human than what they actually should be. I mean, I kind of like Neeko's visual design, in the way I like Lux. Pretty, nice, but not spectacular or unique. And I'm kind of disappointed because I know Riot is capable of that. Just a few examples of that uniqueness: {{champion:223}} {{champion:432}} {{champion:420}} {{champion:268}} {{champion:202}} {{champion:516}} {{champion:203}} Tahm Kench probably the most outstanding of the bunch. From his design, to his animations, the way he talks, his lore and his kit and gameplay. Well, I'm pretty sure she will end up growing up on me as some other champions did, but she could have been more for sure. I'm still waiting for an old-looking lady with a unique enough theme and personality.
: Riot, now that you've made K/DA, how about making....
: Sure, but in this case people are effectively being sent to jail over political protest, because they think that the game has gone too far in the wrong direction. So yeah, not exactly a just system.
No one banned OP for protesting. He got banned for calling someone "human garbage". Where is the political protest in that?
: Can't wait to see how utterly shit Riot makes the game this season with the "Soon" excuse
I came here expecting a proper complaint about an actual problem. Jesus I'm naive. Impressing upvotes tho.
: Why does Fizz ult have a 2 massive slows and a knock up?
They should remove at least the second slow. It does seem like overkill.
