Yasuo's difficulty is overhyped and exaggerated for many reasons, mainly popularity. He's certainly not easy, but also not hard. I'd put him as a middle-high difficulty in a very low to very high spectrum.

: "ADC can't fight assassins, because they don't have the kit to deal with them." Assassins can't go bottom and lane against ADC's. But mages can go top and auto win because they're ranged vs melee TF blade also says that mages are broken at the moment. But he's just another scrub like hashinshin right?

{{champion:134}} Because i love her design and kit. I love that i must always be aware of what i'm doing if i don't want to get punished and killed for any mistake. I don't get any free tool to get away from bad situations like many other champions these days, i have to hit my skillshots, keep my spheres up and count on my skills only instead than low cds, free dps or ward jumping. Every resemblance to mechanicaly forgiving champions is purely casual ;)

Her passive unlocking at 9/13/16/18 is fine (if not tied to skills though, it could do something like 5/9/13) and then amp what she actually does. Does her W passive do True Damage still? The difference is Syndra is an early to mid game powerhouse whose work **is** to burst. Adcs are, by definition, scaling auto attacking champions. And she was 1 lvl behind me, and we were almost equal in gold.

: Yasuo has a lot of tools but actually doesn't suffer from this problem as a whole. His winrate actually goes down in higher ELO play as opponents learn to exploit him. The core combo of being a squishy melee without strong burst leaves a lot of opportunity for opponents to stop him.

I got to Diamond IV by playing my main {{champion:134}} while she was considered shit tier. I think it depends more on the roles and the impact you provide in a game rather than the champion itself.

: When she is trash in the meta and pretty much only the hardcore mains play ahri, then 51% is pretty bad. (And arround two months ago the question was asked "how is ahri in the current meta?" in beyond the rift. And all 3 high elo streamers qt, scarra + i dont remember the guest all agree that ahri is trash). Winrates are not always comparable. Similar to how ryze is very strong in the meta when his winrates peaks at 46%.
I don't wish to burst your bubble. Syndra has one of the lowest mid lane winrate paired with a 1.5% pick rate, and still most of her mains, myself included, think she's in an ok spot and the current PBE buff will be enough. See the differences? Maybe Ahri players are just too spoiled.

Hi Meddler. Please, take some time to read this. I'm a very loyal Syndra main, with 1.2M points. I managed to get to Diamond this season playing her, and it wasn't easy, obviuosly. Let me express myself in this regard: Syndra's real problem as of now is the complete absence of a passive until lvl 9. Her trading pattern isn't mana effective until lvl 4 or so, as 50 base damage on her Q, 70 on her W and E are almost nothing for the mana it costs her. She would really need a change on her Transcendence that makes it work from lvl 1, like scaling bonuses + a final "boom" effect, or even a secondary Transcendence effect. I understand it would take time to realize, so maybe increasing her W and E base damage early (without buffing their later damage) would really help her trading patterns without making her too strong of a lane bully again, since the cooldowns on those spells are very high. Thanks in advance for your reply.
: He did a great job with Warwick, but that was because he actually had restrictions. The problem is, CertainlyT is extremely good at creating fun champions... for the user. But he absolutely doesn't care at all about what feels fair for the enemy, at least it seems that way for me. He just wants the player of his champion to have as much fun as possible, that's why his champions always tend to end up with broken mechanics. He actually needs someone who gives him restrictions.... ___________ Remember Camilles release and how people hated her ultimate? But at least it has some counterplay, if she leaves her ult then it ends. If CertainlyT had designed her, the ult wouldn't end no matter what, because that's fun for the user.
The funny thing is, salty Akali mains are downvoting me. This kit is atrocious and will obviously be a balancing nightmare.

: Apologies this ended up being a day later, rather than later in the same day. Ended up being a really busy Friday at work. Short answer is that the difference in effectiveness for Syndra between pro and normal play is what's making us hesitate on buffs here. She's a bit weak in normal play, but seeing some pro play recently. She's also got a kit that, when she clicks with the current state of pro, can move her up in priority really fast. Going to talk with the designer looking at her next week, see what our plan as a result is. Will then share that back in one of these posts once I've got some direction or details to talk about, rather just a problem statement.
Hi Meddler. I beg you to forgive some others for being rude, but you must understand their frustration. Your team is worried to work on Syndra, but they must see the reality: she was a huge problem only when her kit tempo was altered after patch 6.9. Now that you fortunately fixed that, how could she be a problem again? She doesn't need a lot, and you must understand that she has received nothing but nerfs and indirect nerfs since preaseason: new runes, buffs to assassins (which, by the way, are waveclearing better than Syndra early one for some reason now), mobility creep. It's not fair when we have to work harder than anyone else to do our job during a match. Please Meddler, take the time to work on her yourself. You are her designer.
