I think it should decelerate more the further it moves through walls, so that shots from a screen away are much harder to hit when they exit the wall however.. thresh is one of the very best designed champions in the game with expressions of skill and counterplay everywhere. If his hook just hit what it LOOKED like it should hit visually, he would be perfect. I would have to assume his designer had nothing to do with hitboxes and animations, which is the only frustrating thing about him

Tanks are absolutely fine at the moment, only sejuani perhaps needs a slight nerf. Problem with zac wasnt as much his dmg but his ult - AOE better version of skarner ult on a champ with 1000+ range gap closer - the fuck?! His damage was OK in general, just not OK for a champ with that much insane CC. Almost as retarded as Camile R on a champ with 1000 gap closer on E (only almost - if riot wasnt retarded Camile would never exist). Even Cho isnt too bad, the main problem is the gimmick of R + stoneplate. Stoneplate in general is a retarded item as it currently allows to interact with any HP scaling abilities / actives.

They NEED constant change to generate sales. People need to have to buy new champs / skins / runes for them to make the most money. Thats why they break the game every season - pointless changes to runes/jungle/dragons/add new dumb items (ardent) and so on. The game would be balanced ages ago even if Riot were 30IQ 12 year old kids - the reason its so bad is because they think its better to have "change and unpredictability".

Dont fool yourself - this game is not balanced at the pro level either. Riot are 30 IQ thats all - the game is incredibly unbalanced now at all ELOs and pro play. Look at pro games - the same 10-15 champs see 80%+ pick/ban. Bot lane is even worse, usually the same 2-3 ADCs in every game either picked/banned. I never understood why Riot are SO BAD at balancing. I think they intentionally make things broken to "add to the drama" and "make the game less stale". Its almost impossible to be so bad without intentionally trying to screw things up.

I think his E Flash mechanic needs to be changed, there is ZERO counterplay to it, given the high E hitbox on top of that. You see him E from 400 units away and you can either flash instantly (in which case he doesnt use flash and you die to the next gank) or not flash and get E + R back & die. I think the E + Flash thing may need to be removed completely. Flash E is fine since it allows to flash in counterplay. E + flash has no counterplay.

He's one of our more niche champions (few people play him, but those that do play a lot of him), which in and of itself isn't a problem, but it does make it harder to prioritize work on him over other champions who impact a larger amount of players. That being said there's likely some low cost but high value work that we could do on Skarner to make him a more compelling champion to play, and potentially even give him a strategic reason to be picked. What I mean by that is that very rarely - or ever - will you be in champ select, look at the other team and go "ah! this is a game for Skarner!". Instead you'll usually pick him because you've likely put in hundreds of games of him and have mastered his kit to the point where you can win >50% of games even when matched up into a team that somewhat counters you. Take Amumu on the other hand, who very easily be picked for a strategic reason when your top laner picks Kennen or your mid laner takes Ori. In those case you're opting into the very clear wombo combo team comp, where you ult, and they layer theirs on top of you for that sweet pentakill action. Skarner on the other hand, has a far blurrier strategic identity, and there aren't many clear circumstances when you pick him to counter someone on the other team, or even to synergize well with your own team. This may be a bit frustrating, but I'm going to hold off from getting into tactics for what we could/will maybe do for Skarner in the future, since that would be up to the game designer who's working on him (I'm just the Product Lead for Live Gameplay), but I do want to say that he's on our minds and that we haven't forgotten him. I've also got a pretty close co-worker (Gentleman Gustaf) who's a Skarner aficionado who we'll certainly be consulting with when we take him on! I'm sorry I can't go into specifics, or even give you a timeline, but I also get sad when I see mains of champions who just want a little love feeling like they got lost at the wayside and wanted to chime in. Skarner has a lot of strategic thought (e.g. dont pick him vs Morgana, do pick him vs Soraka so I can ult her to prevent the heals).

Skarner needs a pre 6 mobility buff, perhaps give W a burst MS or higher MS at early levels. Trying to gank someone as a skarner pre 6 is like chasing a car with a wheelchair. Even if I do get in range, I deal very little dmg lvls 1-5 on top of that. I am fine with not doing much dmg early but at least have means to get in range for E would be good. Perhaps give E empowered AA extra range like wukong Q and he is fine.

Skarner is not "boring" whatever that is. He is much more interactive than many champions (Shyvana huuurrrr duurrrrrr farm for 20 min both jungles and then R into TFs to outstat everything) or nunu (Derp around objectives and take them with Q. Press W on ADC and hope they are better than the enemy one. In rare scenario set up an ult in bush but thats the only fun bit). All skarner needs are a few mobility buffs so that he can get onto some targets without needing a flash. Perhaps slightly higher Q dmg at lvls 2-5 and he is good to go. An interesting idea would to give his E empowered AA a bit more range (like wukong Q). It would again help with getting to targets.

Just dont die and you did your job, if your team flames they are the retards so ignore them. When its 2v1 top it means the enemy doesnt have a jungler. A good jungler will be lvl 6 at 6 min taking both jungles uncontested and then its game won. Just dont get low and dont die and you did your job.

I have never seen a game without at least one ADC in 2017, or 2016, or 2015 and the story goes on. In fact all of my ranked games as far as I remember had 100%+ ADC pick rate. All LCS games are 200%+ ADC pickrate (e.g. each team picks at least one). ADC were not weak at the start of 2017, they were just not OP. ADCs were not able to 1v5 carry and they cried, now we have this.

Both ADC itemisation cost/efficiency as well as protective support items are a joke at the moment. The biggest problem is that these two things combined basically means the team with more abusive Ardent combo wins past 25 mins. You almost never win when your team ADC is being considerably outshined by enemy ADC but you can easily find a 0-3-0 toplaner winning the game if their ADC is better.

As someone who played since season 1... (and been diamond/masters level since season 2) I can tell you that the balance now is better than any other season start. Not that it makes riot team any less stupid (they are for sure), but if you want to QQ you should have seen BOTRK intro or Black Cleaver rework times
