I'd say yay and nay. Yay, because the current runes mostly just give stat bonuses. Nay, because i would like them to change into something that deos not boost stats but rather changes how you play. What i mean with that could be something like: "You gain 20% less AD from items, but you convert 100% of your bonus AD into AP. AP you would gain from Items has no effect." (This is just an example, im saying that it is an example because some guy will most likely call me out and say "oH mY gOd, taHTs So BorKen [insert any insult]")

Champions should never be balanced around Runes, they should be balanced around themselfes and each other. Items should be balanced around Champions, each other and themselfes. Runes should be balanced around Champions and only encourage a certain playstyle but not straight up make one Champion super powerful while another becomes unplayable.

Thats like saying, that it deosn't make sense that Sion can wield a Weapon because he is a Zombie and Zombies are supposed to be stupid. Or that Jinx shouldn't be able to wield that rocket launcher/Minigun because she is so skinny. Its a Videogame. Characters look attractive, physics don't make sense, shields turn into gauntlets, daggers turn into bows and so on. It is fitting for her Character, since the suit is not actually a suit made of some Cloth or Metal, it is a living Void-based Organism.

: My theory is the game is done catering to its casual playerbase and is putting its eggs in the esports basket. If successful, the game can subsist without a single skin sale simply from existing as a popular e-sport. Riot has learned it is -impossible-, full stop, to balance a game this complex for both the lowest AND the highest common denominator. They are right, it is impossible to do at this point. That's my opinion. That's where i imagine they go when they face a torrent of hate for the latest rework that focuses on teamplay or whatever buzz word they throw out. They do not need their players if they have their athletes, sponsorships, etc. The player base is a bunch of whiny unreliable children who may or may not spend money on skins or whatever else, not compared to what can be had if they ever manage a stable professional scene.
You don't balance around a certain group of Players. You balance the Champions around the Game itself.

: Using ranks in an argument isn't entirely a bad thing to do.
Well, except it is. I made post a few years ago, where i complained about Yasuo's Windwall being too strong and risk free. People disagreed with me left and right, even though all my points were valid, not only because they all most likely were yasuo fanboys, but the Argument against my reasoning that got brought up the most was that "a silver player shouldn't talk about balancing". Later that day another Person actually agreed with my opinion and reasoning, said person being Diamond at the time. Alot of the other people that disagreed with me before about the same thing, suddenly agreed with that Person, just because they were Diamond.

I was once put up against a Challenger Riven as first time Shen in a Normal. 3 People of my Team already expected me to loose, just because the difference in Rank. Now here is the thing.. i would have won the lane if i would have had experience in playing that champion, since said Riven did not seem to have any experience playing Riven either. Another time i was matched with 2 Platinum people, one of which was the adc i had to Support. Said adc was constantly bragging how good he is, "because he's plat", while in my opinion he played more like a Gold at most. Luckily, his Ego diminished to a pile of Dust at the end of the game. Ranking deosn't mean anything, not with the kind of Ranked system we have right now.

I managed to get down to 8 Chests 2 days ago.. right afterwards i went back up to 11 chests and 1 Fragment. I've been sitting on my Chests for over a year with never enough Keys to open them all. I get about 1 Fragment every 3 Days, which means i will never ever be able to open them all and they will just keep piling up. I also refuse to spend money on the game, so thats not an option either.

Last season when i tried to finally get into the bronze 1 promos, i managed to get >95 <100 LP and dropped back down to <20 LP. This happened 3 times in a row. Eventually, i made my way to Bronze 1 100LP at the end of the Season with a pretty good MMR for Bronze. This Season i got placed in Silver 4. Every once in a while, i checked my and the enemy team and it turned out, that almost every time the enemy team had an average win rate of 40% while my Team only had an average win rate of 30-ish%. You'd say thats unfair, but i think its reasonable because of me having had a 65+% winrate. My Point is, don't get frustrated, you'll get there eventually. Look at the things you may be doing wrong or things you could be doing differently. There are games you just can not win, no matter how hard you try. Just keep trying and you'll get there, eventually.. unless you're negative and make people feel bad which would make them plays alot worse, then of course you won't climb, ever.

They are intended to be used if you accidently buy something you did not intend to by missclicking for example. However, most people used them on Champions because they did not know any better. i'd prefer it if refunds refresh after a certain amount of time and can only be used on things you bought with RP.

All this makes is a really slow game mode where half of the items you want to buy are losing gold efficiency due to losing some benefits when you build them. So you're decreasing damage by 20% and then also cutting down on 25% AS? That's literally double dipping into heavy nerfs to Fighters and Marksmen. Permanent GW debuff makes sustain half as efficient so supports like Nami, Janna and Soraka can go f themselves in this game mode. It's creating more problems than it "solves".

: Although I agree that Towers should be more powerful, this isn't the right way to approach it. You're adding way too many defensive stats to the Inhibitor and Nexus Towers imo. With the amount of Armor/Magic Resist they have, it makes them block 80% and 83.3% damage respectively along with granting them 40000 and 60000 effective HP respectively. In comparison, current turrets have roughly 35% damage reduction and 5,580 effective HP. Even Baron Nashor with 10000 HP at 20 min doesn't have this much effective HP, being 22000 HP against Physical Damage and 17000 HP against Magic Damage. These changes will make securing towers harder than taking Baron. As for gameplay, these changes will do the following things: * **Minions become worthless at sieging:** The turrets are too tanky for the minions to deal considerable damage. You'd need a Baron buff with Banner of Command to deal any considerable damage. * **Make games significantly longer (40~50+ Min):** Due to towers being so tanky, early game snowballing/objective becomes significantly less effective. Thus, most early game champs will become unviable as the game goes on. Additionally, in order to get to the enemy Nexus, you'd need to deal at least a whopping **196,000 effective HP** [12000 HP (Tier 3) + 24000 HP (Tier 2) + 40000 HP (Tier 3) + 60000 HP (Tier 4) x 2] worth of damage to enemy turrets. Even with its base HP, that's **38000 HP**; that's more damage than most players deal to champions in an average game. Also remember, Nexus towers respawn and Inhib and Nexus towers can still regenerate HP. This will make games considerably longer as well... * **Makes strategies such as Backdooring, Splitpushing, Objective Trading less rewarding:** Backdooring will be less effective since you don't want to take multiple inhibitors at the same time due to the Nexus Turret respawn mechanic. Inhib Towers with Sunfire Cape destroys the incentive to create monster minion waves. Also with their defensive stats, Splitpushing becomes significantly less effective due to one person being unable to deal enough damage to take towers. Because towers take forever to kill, players will have more incentive to take neutral objectives in order to speed up the turret taking process. Otherwise they will just farm or slow siege a tower for X min until a neutral objective spawns. Trading objectives will not be a factor either since taking an inhib/nexus tower would take longer than taking Baron or Elder Drake. * **Promotes 5v5 tower slow siege gameplay:** With all the other options stated earlier not being effective, most players will spend majority of their time playing farming simulator or slow sieging turrets one at a time until a neutral objective spawns. This leads to quite uneventful linear gameplay. * **Heavily limits play potential late game:** Usually when your team manages to get a pick/kill on the enemy team, you want to force an objective (i.e. tower). However, since the towers are so tanky, your team probably won't be able to fully capitalize on that person's death. The enemy will probably respawn before you even manage to significantly damage the tower. You better pray that one or more players on your team has the Demolish rune.
I have to agree, that i went a "little" over the top with it.^^' I personally just think that Towers should only fall when either your team works together (2 or more people) or when enough time has passed that the minions take it down. With the Sunfire's Cape on Inhib towers when no Champions are nearby, i wanted to prevent people from just shoving one Minionwave after the next into it without actively trying to take it down, therefore not risking anything. I like to imagine League like a Castle, with the defenses becoming stronger the closer it gets to the very thing its trying to protect, therefore Nexus Towers being the strongest and insanely hard to take down, requiring the entire Team. Assuming Riot would actually implement these exact changes (i doubt it), it would open up the requirement for more items that are made for taking down Towers, like Zz'rot Portal {{item:3512}} etc. Alternatively you could enable the effects of Penetration items to work on Towers aswell, therefore counting all of their armor and magic resistance as Bonus. I want Champions that are very strong early on, to bring their Team ahead, but not be able to solo carry a game, while also not feeling completely useless in the later stages. That could be Achieved by either having special Siege items in the game just for those classes, an example of that would be an Item for Assassins that grants Lethality, Attack Damage and stores Charges on killing an enemy Champion that then causes the next basic attack on a structure to deal damage based on the charges + the users Attack Damage, or having Towers loose a % of their resistances per enemy Champion attacking it (and maybe gaining resistances for allied Champions being nearby). I hope this is not confusing and makes sense somehow, it is very late. Oh, and thank you for having this discussion with me. :)

The fact you ignored assists shows you're an low elo scrub that doesn't understand anything about this game. Stick to playing against other bottom shelf trash and don't mouth me again.
Assists is NOT all that matters. Every death (usually) counts as a kill for the enemy team. Every Death gives the enemy team a 300 gold advantage. You die about ~6 times per games, which means the enemy team gets 1800 Gold just from you dieing and that is without counting in all the Assists others get from you dieing. I do not mean to be rude or anything, but thats the truth. Another factor that plays into it, is the percentage of games you win, with your 2 highest being at 44% and 45%. If you were truly so much better then people in your Elo, your winrates would look more like mine. Even Assuming that i could keep my winrate like this, i don't think i could reach higher then Gold.

As i said, you seem to not know anything about it. Alot of people that suffer from depression have atleast considered that option once. And before you come along and say more uninformed things, depression can be caused by many things. From being made fun of by everyone for extended periods of time even when something was not funny at all to constantly being pushed aside since childhood which could cause a person to always feel unwanted.

It empowers Minions to do more damage to towers, having minions deal i think 300% increased damage to towers. Which means, Cannon minions with the baron buff and banner of command destroy a tower in just 5 - 7 hits.

Which is why i have all chat muted at all times, i heavily recommend it. Barely every anything good comes from it. As someone who felt the same many times, i recommend you to find a person that you can open up to and tell them everything without fear of being judged or thought ill off. That usually works best if the other person is/was in the same situation. League, sadly, has an incredibly toxic community (atleast parts of it) and the only way to avoid it is to either, mute everyone when they start becoming negative/at the start of every game or to only play with people you know are not toxic. While this may sound very empty to you (due to of how generic it is), i genuinely wish you to overcome it and feel better soon! You are not alone.

The problem i have, when that happens is that.. well, if they want to play more games they kind of expect me to play Support again, regardless if i enjoy it or not and if things don't go well most of the time they end up being one of the most toxic people i've ever met. Either that or after adding me and talking for 2 Minutes we never ever talk again until i remove them from my friendslist because i have no idea who they are. But thats just my experience.

Yes, people that just ranked up get a jump start, however.. that just means that they are getting matched against better people much sooner. If they get placed in Silver 5 with like 84 LP and continue on winning even though they play against stronger opponents, where is the problem? Starting at 0 LP after you've been promoted feels just bad and the wins kind of wasted. You also have to think about that all the losses count aswell. So lets say you reach 120 LP, which means you are in your promos but then you loose the first 3 games, now you'd be at like 60 LP and have to climb back up. Its better for people that are good enough to rank up but just dont have the time to play much and those that do not belong in a certain division will drop rather quickly.

Don't have to play Brand then. There are over 100 different Champions, so plenty to choose from and even if someone were wanting to play brand there'd only be a 10% Chance of it actually happening. The Game used to be much more balanced out and therefore much more fun. Sticking to a game for Years just because of how much you enjoy it makes you kind of grow attached to it, so its even harder to let go of it once you stop having fun.
