Just my opinion though, others might disagree =)
That is also true but there is some tricks like good warding positions and good items that is not in the recommended build And i get what you are saying thy gave us a lot of ways to train

I mean I spent 20 minutes explaining how to play Malzahar mid in the current meta a week ago with a friend that wanted to try him out. I went through his abilities, builds, positioning, runes, where to ward (he's not played mid before, always jungle), when to ward, when your powerspikes were etc. We then played a friendly 1v1 and I reminded him about bits and pieces, then he went into a game while I jungled and again I reminded him of a few things. He went 3/5/11 that game which wasn't bad tbh, and the next game he did better again. Something that rewards actually spending time teaching people stuff instead of carrying them in a game might be more valuable... I know they can rewatch the game but tbh they might as well watch a youtube video then instead.
Ya i get your point, but for some real inexperience players that don,t know where to look or to ask for help to play a certain role, this mentor ship can help them find the right person to help them or event tell them where to look for help

: This would be better it is was a Mentor style thing instead of a "carry 4 noobs" thing... I love the IDEA of a mentor style reward system, but this isn't how you'd achieve this...
Hallo I get that it will be hard to carry the game but if you/ the Mentor can learn your team some good tricks fasther then the oponents then your team will win and an idea for a reward i thought (A uniqe summoners icon and blou essens (only if you get a certain lv of mentor ship) and the normal amount of exp)
