: Malphite changes coming to PBE
Whenever playing Malphite, i always notice a huuuge problem with his mana early up to the end of mid game when going the tank route. It only takes a few Q's ( less than 5 Q's ) in lane to run out of mana and be forced back to base. His base mana pool is too low and his abilities costs are too high compared to it. it's hard to keep up unless i go the ( fun ) ap build with RoA or Luden first. It would be greatly helpful to see some simple lower mana costs to his abilities or an overall increase in his mana pool and regen. I think his mana got nerfed very very long time ago. The game has changed so much over the course of the years and no one from the balance team looked back into readjusting them again, probably because not many people play Malphite anymore. It's nice to see someone from the champions design team finally taking a look at him after so many years. TL;DR Some basic mana buffs could help greatly in the early game. Big Mana problems when going the tank route. Suggested solutions: • Reduce Q range by 25 ( point-click abilities have no counter play and shouldn't be that long, especially not comparing to the 700 range change ) • Reduce Q mana cost to 50 at lvl 1 ( currently 70 in live ) • Reduce ground smash mana cost to 40 at lvl 1 ( currently 50 in live ) • Increase mana pool to 382 at lvl 1 ( +100 from the original ) Either that or add a new Mana reward mechanism, like a new passive to his ground smash e.g. hitting x enemies with ground smash, restore x amount of mana

Some suggestions that might be a great addition to her kit: A 1sec movespeed buff on her Molten Shield could help her a lot escape ganks Tibbers copy all Annies spells, for example when annie use Q; Tibbers also throw another but less powerful Q, same thing for W Annie can ride tibbers shoulders and gain increased movespeed, she can still cast spell while riding tibbers until he expires

She was being played support because she was horrible mid imo, this champion is supposed to be mid lane and that where i played her before nerfs. Reduce base damages and buff ratios to stop people from playing her support. Make Zyra mid great again

Since you're planning on giving her a new passive, it would be great if you could make her keep the old passive as a secondary passive, it's not that strong but it would be fun if she keep it too

{{champion:143}} Zyra - The rise of the thorns Pint-pointing some of her problems and brainstorming some ideas **Slow Plant Lady**: Zyra could use a buff to her base movespeed and base hp, she's waaaay to squishy and slow for an immobile mage, it's frustrating at lower levels. it always bothered me how slow her movespeed is, it's so horrible that any jungler can kill catch me at lvl 3 ganks and barely escape with a sliver of health. • **Useless Passive**: Also she's a champion with an useless passive, a new passive could help her a lot, and shift the old passive as a new passive in her ultimate. • **Balance**: The past nerf have all been consequences of her being played in the support lane, it would be great if you could do something about her being used a support like reduce her base damage and increase her ratios so she can stop being played at support and be only played mid. • **Very Immobile**: Increase "Grasping Roots" projectile speed and make her able to use it while moving instead of stopping to cast it, or just cut some of its animation. Extra idea: Make it so when she grow a slowing plant with her "Grasping Roots", The plant immediately after it grows, launchers another copy of Grasping Roots, that way she can use the seeds to sort off extend the Grasping Roots range • **Her Garden**: Give her some special interactions with jungle environment, for example planting a seed on scuttle crab will grant vision on top of the scuttle crab back while he patrol the area or until the seed expires • **Wait until my seeds take root**.Increase seed vision at higher ranks and plants tankiness at higher "W" ranks, it feels so unrewarding to waste skill points on that ability, the CD reduction is very slim at early lvls and doesn't stack well with items until lvl 18 • **A promising garden**: Make it so that her plants works similar to Heimerdinger turrets that stay longer on the field and disactivate when Zyra goes too far from them. • Bug fixes: There is currently a bug on live that makes her "E" Grasping Roots to stop and disappear mid-track for no reason at all Annie is also one of those immobile mages, Any plans for Annie?

: Mages, immobile ones especially, are probably the class we'll look at next. That'll be a while off though, preseason's currently our biggest priority and then there's also some disruption during the holiday period in December. I'd imagine a PBE date 2-3 months into 2016's the sort of timeframe we might be looking at, that's very much a guess though and depends on how many champions we end up tackling at once (small batch could come slightly earlier, broader changes like with Marksmen would be much later). In terms of AP items that's not something we've talked about much yet. I'd imagine we'd look at itemization if doing mages of course, almost certainly a much smaller set of changes than those to marksmen/general AD itemization though (AP's in a better starting point, especially after the 5.13 changes).
Don't forget about Vel'koz and make Zyra a viable mid laner again she isn't supposed to be a support. Also give Lissandra a new passive you promised long time ago
: Taric's design work was actually finished early this year, but he's getting the full deal as far as updates go: model, animations, effects, sounds, lore, icons, gameplay. He'll be a Sion-level rework, and he should probably come late this year or early next year. I did his game design work, so if you hate it when it hits PBE, feel free to let me know then.

W should have no mana cost since it has an hp cost, 10% HP is nothing to underestimate especially in the lanning phase. I would reconsider buffing her base hp and hp per level stats to synergyze with this her new kit {{champion:16}} In my opinion it should cost 10% HP when used on an ally champion and only cost mana ( and no hp ) when used on herself, it would make perfect sense Also, any plan on giving her a texture update just like what happened with Sona?
