The downvotes are probably because you've been speculating without must thinking or knowledge of the lore, and made connections based on pretty much nothing.
For example, {{item:3068}} is obviously Shuriman because of the Shurima crest on it, crest present on the *Sun* Disc.
{{item:3170}} is not related to Diana more than the fact that both are about the moon. {{item:3190}} is however indeed related to Leona, because Leona is part of the Solari.
As already said, {{item:3191}} is Sejuani's.
Trundle doesn't use a mallet, but a club, Morde doesn't use a battle flail, but a morgenstern. Also, it's *Lord Van Damme*'s.
This kind of things

Not all spells are used equally, his E and Q are spammed A LOT more than his W

The problem in itself is not really power in the sense of pure damage. Pure damage is what ADCs should do. The problem is more systemic.
|

Yes, because the mana cost of his other spells are taking the potential refund into account.

> Riot's clearly lying about nerfing Marksmen :\
They never said they were *nerfing* them
|
|||||
![]()
Not the same thing. They're assessing the whole Marksmen systemic issues. They'll touch on power curve, crit, and possibly other things. They're not reworking champions, but the system, and that *usually* goes pretty well.
Obviously, you can also expect some changes to a few champs, but that's not the focal point here.

Just wait for midseason. But obviously, whatever they will do, you guys will complain as long as ADCs are somewhat relevant.

As I said, they need mana-gating to justify a higher power. Right now, their power lies within their range and utility, because their mana currently doesn't justify the damage. With more mana management needed, Riot will be able to gradually give more specific power to mages. Maybe not flat damage but more range, bigger AoE, more CC, etc…
|
|||||
![]()
Because mana should be a balance point for mages. As long as mages don't have mana problem, then can't deal more damage. If you want your mages to be more powerful (which the boards seem to be all for), then they need a weakness with that.
Since ADC are the durable champions, those who can fight for very long thanks to manaless AA, mages need mana-gating in order to legitimately overpower ADC in short fights.

Basically, on the boards, everything that does not directly nerf ADCs actually buffs ADCs

Note that even with level mana at level 5, you still have more mana regen

Would you consider adding a grounding effect? More than the actual immobility, the strength of a root also lies with its ability to prevent dashes/blinks. Or is that actually the point of the change?

The reason they don't share a lot of data is that data is useful only if you know how to use it.
The best argument for that is when you see how people just look at win rates to justify balance. Data is to be carefully looked at, and one needs deep understanding in game design and/or statistics to be able to correctly make sense of it.
So no, they don't hide data because they're lying to us or afraid to show "bad stats", they just want to avoid having people incorrectly use or cherry-pick the data to push their agenda and further the dislike for the company.

Yeah. Feels pretty bad. Not getting full effect from Conqueror has a similar feel.
On the plus side, we've been testing a few new fighter items that hopefully don't need to have the 'melee only' flag on them, but it's hard to say if they'll make it to Live in that state.
Recently I put in a change for testing where Urgot was just considered melee for the purposes of systems like these, but overwhelmingly got negative feedback on that.
My personal preference would be that we have another split similar to how we have range / melee that describes defensive profile rather than range profile. In most cases they line up, but if for example, we had a light / heavy split, that might do good stuff for making champions like Urgot and GP more balanceable within the item system. Biggest immediate problem I can see with that, however, is that there's no immediate gameplay connection to that profile in the same way there is for AA ranges.
Have you tought about making items *scale* with range? The higher the range, the lesser the benefit. Feels like a nice organic way of balancing items, but it probably requires a lot of work.

I must say I **completely** disagree. The new low-angle Ez splash is way more dynamic, WW's old splash was terrible, new Kog actually looks like something remotely possible, Olaf got way more Berserk.
Ryze is pretty much the same in feel.
Kayle, as much as I loved her old splash pose, the new one is more intimidating and polished.

The goal here (I'm not gonna discuss on whether it's good/bad or well/badly done) is to make the cannon minion a more important part of laning, and making then the reward for taking it better, but also the reward for preventing your opponent from taking it more important and satisfying.

Ok, true for the dash, but the resistance buff is kind of like a shield, in a sense, and it does refresh if the explosion hits a unit.

Both the aspects of the Sun {{champion:89}} and the Moon {{champion:131}} have:
* An AA empowerment
* A target-locked dash that requires you to hit a skillshot
* A light-themed mark on enemies
* A circular AoE hard CC
* A shield that refreshes upon hitting enemies

I think they're trying to find a specific place for Lux. Like an artillery mage who works best in big, long teamfights. Kinda like a mage Demacian equivalent for Darius. Making her also a bit more different from a Xerath or a Vel'Koz.
