: Now this may put me in the spotlights aswell but my name is literally lewd lolita and i even asked a rioter on my name in a support ticket about a different subject, proof here: https://gyazo.com/f9d5f077ef83331bfff1f20f84c2997b . If banning a club called loli for sexual connotations is meant to be then im not supposed to have my name like this either.

: Honestly, I think you're either actually ignorant or you're trying to win a fight against mods for the sake of it. Loli is a term with a sexual connotation, and whether you meant it as such or not is completely irrelevant. Objectively, which means that your intentions do not matter, it is a fact that it has a sexual meaning. It's like naming your club "homo love" and arguing that you named it after homo sapiens and not homosexual. You named it loli for what? And don't tell me it's to show your cultural appreciation and the cuteness of anime, that's bull. You intentionally made it only one word exactly so you can use it in both meanings as it fits you. As long as there is a high level of potential sexuality in the name due to no context, everybody has the right to assume that meaning. This is not a battle you will win, and I applaud the mods for not letting you get away with this sht.

As long as there is a high level of potential sexuality in the name, it's wrong. This is not a battle you will win, and I applaud the mods for not letting you get away with this sht. A lot of words can have sexual meanings or be associated with sexual context, I will still hold my ground on that I could have named the club anything I wanted to, included any text before or after the 'Loli', but I did not, it remained neutral. It also does not matter whether you wish to call my intentions on the naming bull/bs, nor is it relevant, I named it that way because that's all I cared about, that's all I wanted to name it, why would it matter if I only named it to show my cultural appreciation? The reason does not matter in the context you're trying to portray. Furthermore, I have had the club name and tag since they were first brought out, I have advertised the club and had my name said on these forums to who owned the club, does it not seem weird that it took this long? Or that I 'got away' with it?

I can guarantee quite a fair amount of those go unnoticed for the most part, or how about Riot only resetting my club name and tag meaning someone else managed to take it? Will they also get their club reset and account banned? I surely doubt that will happen. And for other people, just that word is a sexual term. I don't get what's difficult to understand about that. "What about other people doing/saying worse things?" That's not an argument. Someone else also doing something wrong doesn't make something else less wrong.

Someone else also doing something wrong doesn't make something else less wrong. Except it's being wrongly perceived as a sexual term, or they're thinking of other terms such as lolicon. There is nothing inherently wrong with what my club name and club tag was set at. The main point of my last paragraph is that while Riot has taken action against my club, they likely will not do the same for similar and/or worse clubs out there. They will likely also not take action against those that have taken the club name and club tag since the club reset.

: You can argue against it being a sexual term all you'd like, but it seems like the majority of people (or at least the majority of people reporting your club name) associate it with the sexual term lolicon or lolita (if you're going to argue that lolita isn't a sexual term I'm going to argue that you haven't read that book). Maybe take a hint? It wasn't intended as sexual, but that's how people are taking it. Doesn't it say anything to you that for so many people the term is instantly a sexual one? It might not have been your intention, but you've obviously made people uncomfortable.

: Your club wouldn't die if it was managed still like you said. It's just a name, and the name is inappropriate. That's really all there is to say on this matter.

The only people that are in the discord are those that are in the club, so if you remove the ability to add new people through that method, eventually it will lose members to the point it isn't a community anymore. The name is not inappropriate, it isn't related to the other terms or whatever else said here.
: so I've never been in a club or even know anything about clubs but I assume they also have chatrooms? if they do then surely riot can just like look at what's being said in the chat room and if it's not anything sexual just leave it be, though frankly even if it is sexual I wouldn't care but people are easily triggered by pixel children

: As funny as the name is imo, it's still named after one of the most unsettling fetishes out there

The reason for that is there was already a weird for that without connoting anything deviant, that word being "child." I dont think so. Lolis are just girls who look like childs. Its a non sexual term in Japan and Anime, just because people who dont even watch Anime or have any idea of the origin of the word think its a sexual word doesnt make it one. Yes theres loli porn and thats definitely not okay, but thats not the fault or the meaning of the word. Otherwise simply "Child" Would be Offensive aswell.

Otherwise simply "Child" Would be Offensive aswell. That's the reason why I created the club, it was always related to anime, never was it meant to be bad, never has the club advocated anything to do with the sexual context, I even have strict guidelines in my community Discord for the club, so it can never happen.

Doesn't necessarily mean you blanket ban the club or term though, it's not like the club name was even anything sinister, it was simply 'Loli'.
: Yeah I really don't understand this ban at all. Loli by itself is not a sexual term and it being seen as such in this context says more about the Rioters behind the ban than anything else.

From what I can gather, the ban seems to be based off purely either/or the "many people" reporting an innocent tag, or because the Rioter who reviewed the case is biased or didn't research correctly.
