: I love and hate the skin. It falls under the same issues as Nightbringer Yasuo.... there's just to much animation in one skin it's distracting and causes gameplay to be difficult when playing against cause' there's just to much to look at.
So it's awesome AND confuses the enemy, GREAT, thanks :D

The match making is super weird but other then that - ** is it _really_ that horrible? am I _probably _ going to hate it when I get to know it better?** If you started the game "in the dumpsterfire" you won't have a problem with the game being "in the dumpsterfire" and you'll most likely enjoy it. For me (started early S4 iirc) I do like the game but I hate most of the changes made since season 6 that got us into the current state of the game. I experienced the S5 tank meta and while a lot of people claim it to be the worst meta we could have I disagree with that. I would prefer the S5 tank meta over the current "head to keyboard for kill" meta any day. Yes, there were problematic champions but if we would balance them we would have a game where Makro was the most important skill to learn while Mikro was the added bonus. What we have now is a game where Mikro is just so much more important than Makroplay. Maybe Makroplay is more important in high elo, most players aren't high elo though. These changes spawned a ton of the coinflip players who either win lane early and stomp their way to a victory or beg for "ff15" because "why win a harder 40 minute game if I can lose one fast and then flip the coin in the next game". On top of that, as someone who prefers lategame hypercarries over earlygame/midgame champions I'm absolutely disgusted at [the average game duration](https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/game-durations). Don't get me wrong here, a 30 minute game doesn't sound so bad, does it? (even though I personally would prefer if games were a solid 10 minutes longer) The problem is that due to the changes made in the past few seasons the game is "over" after 15 minutes in most cases and just gets dragged out because us low elo players don't know how to end the game. "I'd much rather lose a 45 minute game that was close until the end than win a 15 minute stomp." I think this statement explains it well. I don't enjoy stomps. I want to challenge myself. To me a win is nothing but a bonus. Sure I wanna win and I'm gonna do everything I can do achieve that Victory screen. But it's not what brings me joy in this game. Like Dyrus once said: "I just want to play League of Legends."

Well, I guess your right. If anything gets better from here, it would be just a nice bonus for me since I haven't experienced better. I wouldn't know which gives you the "most sucess" in low elo games, but macro-play should be the most important thing I agree on that. Now that you mention it, I focus mostly on mikro-playing - simply cuz as a new player there is SO much to learn and if you start focusing on the champions until you can play a few of them really well then it's easier to move on to the "outside" parts. I think it's natural to mikro play at first, but as soon as that's somewhat in place, it should be possible to move on. E.g. I don't jungle, because I feel like I should learn the lanes before I move on to the jungle (which I see as a macro role, am I correct?). Because knowing the other things about the lanes and their champions would be benefical for me if I decide that I like the jungle role. It would give me a better understanding on when to gank, map awarness and what to focus on. That's just my own theory though, idk if it makes sense. As a (very) low elo, I disagree with the game duration thing. I find that some games are doomed after 15 minutes, but just as many games are not. Sometimes I would be giving up mentally and having absolutely no hope, just basically trying to survive but out of a sudden it turns around completely, just like that and you're left there thinking wtf just happened. But defiantly agree that close games are the most fun and for me even games lost but where **I personally** did good because this for me, this is still a learning process - so if I do well, I'm ok with a loss. Good to hear that you like it though, regardless the poor changes. I guess it's like it could be better, but I still like it. Thank you for the reply!
: Chat restrictions for being toxic? I WAS NOT TOXIC TOWARD ANY PLAYER!!
Well tbh I don't think it's that bad even though I'm sure a bunch of people will strongly disagree. Ye, your attitude is a bit off but I assume they actually were toxic since you're calling them out. In the textbook, yes it's worth a chat restiction but personally I wouldn't report you for this, especially if they actually were toxic. I wouldn't say you deserve it, no

I understood it like _they _ said "brain dead and "turd" cuz he said "you are using terms" then those 2 words. So taking that into context, he's just telling them why _they _ are the ones being toxic. Maybe I misunderstood

Well, again I have way too little experience to judge whether some arguments are valid or not, such as broken champions, game unbalance and so on - I mean I haven't even played ranked yet. My point is, some **are ** explanatory (maybe not so constructive) but I wouldn't know if they're true. Thank you though, your reply is relieving lol

The ult is dope but it's a shame others can't see it the way you do, but then again it's a good thing it's not **super **obvious so the enemy can spot it too fast and manage to escape. That was probably their intention when they made it like that.
: Saying fuck you to someone is bannable?
Lol I mean personally I wouldn't report that cause it's just not that big of a deal, but your attitude is way too negative and you're pretty much harrasing your teammates. Saying fuck you is really not the issue here dude. Although I don't agree that trolls want to hear that they are assholes, I think it pisses them off tbh. You can call out a troll, fine but this behavier is defiantly bannable - so unless you wanna be a smurf forever, you better watch out lol peace

: You do realize NA isn't the only region that has opinions right? Whenever Riot makes balance decisions they need to consider feedback from other regions too. Not just NA.
Well, we all relate to the boards with the language we understand, so whether they have the same opinion in other regions or not - Riot still needs to balance their decisions considering feedbacks from players in NA boards which include players from NA, EUW and EUNE. NA boards is by far the biggest in these 3 regions, so I don't really see how your point is valid. Stick to the subject and if you don't agree, feel free to express that, otherwise I don't see why this comment is relevant?
: Likewise, if you are not enjoying the game, just stop playing. If nothing has changed, then that's a very good indicator that your opinions were not shared by any the League player base at large. You (not you specifically OP) do not have to always like the same game. Your tastes and wants will develop over time, and it could very well be that what you want is not what the majority does. And that's perfectly fine. What that doesn't mean is that Riot has to cave to your desires to make it how *you* want it. They will make the game towards what gives the most amount of players the most enjoyment.
Yea, that's why he has 18 upotes and you -33. Some people have played League for years and quitting is not that easy EVEN if you're not enjoying the game because as he mentioned, investing time, building relatioships or even spending a lot of money does make you connected to the game in a whole different way. Most people have even enjoyed it once and would rather fight to get that back, rathen then having some, excuse my language, idiots like you telling them to quit. Look at the boards and tell me he doesn't share his opinion with most people here. Threads like this are put up on daily basis, along with a ton of comments. If Riot thinks that this a few players desire, and that they make the game by doing "what gives the most amount of players the most enjoyment" then Riot has to open their eyes and listen to what the majority of players actually have to say, instead of being too pig-headed to listen. Thank you very much and have a good day, sir.

: Game mode for new players & how to pick a champion
Great tips everyone, **thank you all very much** - it has helped. I actually do feel like I learn more about the champions now that I test them out in bot games. I only invest in champs I know I like now, instead of wasting good ♦ on champs that I end up not using, at least not for a while now. It goes pretty slow when I have to learn new champs and all their roles and skills all the time, but I believe that it's the most effective way. I have a couple of friends IG that I can ask for tips regarding specific champs, otherwise I do a lot of reading (even though, it makes more sense after I actually try them). Besides build, abilities, runes etc. learning the best combo for each champ = win while analyzing and learning your oppononents moves and skills. I'm getting there! The only thing I have yet to do, is watch streamers - only seen a few but I'll get to it soon! Glad to see that I'm not the only one that find people here toxic, especially towards new players. Man do we get trashed by all those probably insanely PMS effected, hormonal players who sometimes aren't even good. Good to see that many people are nice and willing to help. I can only imagine that being angry doesn't let you enjoy the game properly. & trust me I can be emotional and competetive - but never be trashing other players in whatever game.
: A lot of good comments here so I won’t go over it all. Just some things I’d add Bots: as stated have very few real uses. As stated often it is great to get used to skills and how skills interact with each other. Ie combos. What I didn’t see is this is a great place to learn and practice last hitting minions. This is a must skill as it is where you get most you gold for items. Practice this until you are getting a good percentage of the minions per wave. And when doing so restart the game often. The hardest time to last hit minions is those first few levels. If you get good at it level 1-3 the rest becomes cakewalk. Also think about practice movement abilities. Flashing over walls properly can save you or secure kills. It can take some practice to get used to how it works. In game: You will get flamed. Just stay in normals. Use the free rotations to test all champs. Do normal draft so you can try to get the position and champ you are wanting to learn. Toxic people will be toxic. Try to ignore it and often somewhere in there toxic behavior you can get a good nugget of advice. Also let people know you are learning. Often you will find someone that loves to help new players and will duo and offer non-toxic advice For champions just test them all out. When I started and had no champs I played them all during free rotation week. Then rated them 1-10 and started purchasing accordingly. Glhf
A little late reply but thanks for the tips! Also, what would you say is a "good" amount of gold pr. wave/minute or whatever way I can measure my ability to last hit? Great idea on movement ability, it's is such a hard thing to master as a new player. I actually find bots faster then real players somehow and can manage to get away easier - idk if it's just me but regardless, its a good idea to practice it on bots. Sadly there's a lot of toxic people IG and I should be better at ignoring lol. I just honestly can't shut up sometimes, even if it's not even against me cause I find it so unjust to behave like that against other new players that are willing to learn and receive tips. It's not reasonable for a smurf to treat others this way, just because he/she isn't good enough to play with people his/her level (in some cases). But in the end of the day, I'm the one left annoyed so ignoring would defiantly be best. Thanks for the rest of the tips too, they totally helped!
