except it isn't really 10 bans, more like anywhere between 5 and 8, I can tell you zed will be banned 100% by both teams so that's down to 8 bans already, then there's a high chance vladimir will be banned twice as well so now you're down to 6 bans after banning 2 champions, it's a bad ban system. Besides it wouldn't solve anything, when urf first came around riot disabled about 20 champions a week after it's release, we now saw the next best 10 most OP champioms every game

Soraka doesn't need access to items like Tiamat, and Fiora doesn't need access to items like Spellthief's Edge. If each class had it's own group of items, and a list of generic items that everyone can use, balancing the items would become so much easier. Just like marksman items, support items are constantly having to be balanced around the fact that someone outside of their intended role might use them, and that's a really lousy metric to balance against. Imagine how good you could make tank MR items if champions like LeBlanc couldnt take them. Imagine how much easier it would be to balance gold income items if only support champions could get them. The feature of everyone having access to every item isn't worth balancing around, especially when Riot is going to intercede anyways when stuff like Tank Ekko or Top Viktor spout up. I just want to be able to play support with items that are cleanly tailored for the role, outside of the shield items please.

Additionally, more often than not as with most champions with mobility spells, it’s saved primarily for escaping since he doesn’t need it to exert pressure (walking up works just fine because no enemy is gonna stand in range of your QW, so they are zoned by the simple threat of an ability and by the fact that his E is readily available to kite out your aggression). This means that both E charges will almost always be up for both defensive *and* offensive use and once only 1 charge is available then it’s saved for defensive use. It leads to an oppressive *and* safe laning phase. *That’s* why it’s being removed. Because as Aatrox players are getting better and better, they’re starting to realize that aggressive use of E outside of going for a kill is usually suicidal or detrimental to holding lane priority. And the healing vs champs change makes complete sense too. This isn’t the old Aatrox anymore, they’re completely different champions. The lane sustain shenanigans just isn’t healthy for the new lane bully Aatrox. So for the same reasoning as his E, the healing is only vs champs now to kill off that oppressive + safe playstyle. That's how they balanced him, his early game is pretty shit, mid is ok but not that great, late is when he's a nightmare
